Cross Effects: Rebirth (2.0) The RP
YOLF:
Fate
Fate's face did not show one bit of hesitation or worry as he was surrounded from all sides, though his form tensed in anticipation. The spinning blades that flew at him got no closer than a meter before they crashed mid-air, intersected by the sudden flying arcs of equally spinning black swords. The two sets of weapons knocked each other away, snapping or shattering into pieces that flew everywhere.
As that happened, Shiro's spear thrust at him from the front, flashing golden again and again with incredibly speed. Fate swung his sword to parry in just as many movements, diverting the long weapon's edge away from him and knocking it back with his superior strength while stepping away. Cracks appeared over his abused weapon despite reinforcement by continuous pumping of magic into it.
After defending from a first sweep of thrusts, Fate used the brief time before Shiro commenced another to swing hard and focused at the spear. The impact finally caused the obsidian sword to crumble completely in Fate's hands, but knocked away Shiro enough to give the mage an ample opening. Kicking back with the timing, he extended his arm and open hand in Shiro's direction.
The ground underneath the man erupted into many sharp spikes of stone, deforming that spot with deadly spears from the earth. The Stone Spear spell with zero delay aimed to indiscriminately impale Shiro.
And at the same time as it was conjured, words echoed under Fate's breath, powerful magic focusing.
Milbunk:
Haruna Mochizuki
After saying goodnight to her new companions Haruna set off for her own room, she was tired from the events of the day and traveling to new dimensions was still something she wasn't entire used to.
Still, it was within her nature to report so report she did, even if it might be futile.
"Haruna, Mochizuki. I have met with companions and together we have taken out a group of vampires who were up to no good. I am currently staying with Minato. Rider is here as well as Shirou and Sakura's child Kiyoshi. End Report."
It wasn't much but it was better than nothing. With all of that said, Haruna made her preparations and then went to sleep for the night.
Kat:
Mordred
Now there's my chance Mordred finally lured the monster somewhere where she could look for the opening. The elevation of terrain where she tricked the beast to follow her into made Behemoth stand a little higher than the Servant. So, with the creature's underbelly exposed in an opening, Mordred exploited the opportunity to drive Clarent into it.
Umbra of Chaos:
Paladin
--- Quote from: NamesAreHardToComeUpWith on July 14, 2014, 01:11:07 AM ---"Run like hell."

Paladin ran after the moving Archive Hunter even as the bullets were being fired at them. Any projectile that got close was blocked by the shield or dodged. He continued to follow his friend until they ended up in an alley. They had evaded the police for now, but this place was far from secure.
"What do we do now, Hunter? We still have no idea where the wagon is, and the officers don't seem like they will stop chasing us anytime soon."
Arch-Magos Winter:
Shakespeare
--- Quote from: Christemo on July 12, 2014, 06:32:46 PM ---"Oh I guess you of all people would be surprised at this. Modern theaters with live acting is a rarity and of dubious quality in the modern day, so a lot of classic works and other things have instead been pre-recorded onto devices called "cameras". They used to only take pictures but it seems that they have evolved enough to be able to record video." Shirou explained, trying to calm Caster, who looked as if he had seen a ghost that burned books.
"So no, Caster, we were not taken for fools. It is merely how modern man does things", Shirou finished, reaching out to try a single pinch's worth of the snacks Caster had brought. They tasted great, just as the bard had told in his usual over-the-top manner.
"You know, these things are actually quite good. Assassin, you should try this", briefly stealing the plastic bucket from Caster's hands so as to let Assassin reach. The Crucifixion rose in her hand made grabbing a few awkward, but she eventually caught some between her pointer, middle and thumb. Even as she displayed some reluctance in eating such a greasy food, her Master nodded his head at her, silently signaling that it was alright. With that, she gave in and bit into the popcorn.
"This is both unexpected and... pleasing. I guess our wily friend does have a decent idea now and then", uttered Assassin, surprised that the snack didnt kill her on the spot. In fact, it was actually quite good.

I let my master take his fill from the bucket of the puffed grain. There was more than enough to go around, as the lights of the theater dimmed down, and advertisements for future showings began to play before our own. "Ah, such lack of artistry," I commented, "In this showing. It says 'come and see' without telling you what there is to see. Is it a romance, a comedy, or a drama? State what you are, and play them in the proper order..." My grumblings wouldn't reach any ears but I must need speak them lest my tongue be forever silenced. The buttery taste did little to diminish my irritation as the title of my work came onto the screen. I could see the ad posted outside the theater, why broadcast this basic information? Still, I shuffled into my seat, as the moving picture began.
Archer
--- Quote from: Christemo on July 14, 2014, 05:16:29 AM ---
--- Quote from: Elf on July 14, 2014, 05:00:21 AM ---He smirked at Karna and said, "Repression is a dangerous thing."
--- End quote ---
"Truly it is, if you are weak of will and tempted by something so unneccesary. Then again, a lustful creature like yourself to whom sex is as vital as food or water does not set a good standard."
--- Quote from: Elf on July 14, 2014, 05:00:21 AM ---Gabriel turned away from Karna to Archer and said, "I'm Forest's godson, Gabriel. It's a pleasure to meet you." His eyes flickered towards Karna, "Since Fae aren't allowed to lie, I cannot give you the same greeting sir."
--- End quote ---
"It is absolutely a pleasure to meet you, Gabriel. I will enjoy watching your infantile antics in the future. Your passive-aggressiveness is quite entertaining in it's sheer immaturity."
"As for your new guest, Forest, do you want him removed from this place?", asked Karna quizzically.
--- End quote ---
While the sparks flying between Gabriel and Karna were indeed fun to observe - it reminded Archer of the clash of two women he knew from his own past, though he had less investment in it now - EMIYA was more concerned about his host and the guest at the moment. "You can want it as much as you want to, but I don't think you should kick him while he's bleeding to death, even for destroying your car." His grip on Forest's wrist slackened a bit, looking down at the very very damaged man before him. "Besides I doubt hitting him will actually make you feel better. Or that he'd feel it. I'm surprised he was even able to walk here."
Archer bent over a little, frowning at the newcomer as sharp eyes started to pick him apart. "Hell, I'm not sure he's even breathing."
