Elf:
Gabriel shrugged and replied, "I am what I am.  I do not try to deny and hide my nature.  To thine own self be true.  So if that makes me a passive-aggressive bastard, then that is what I am."

Then he turned back to Archer, who was making a good attempt at calming his godmother down.

"At this point he wouldn't even feel it.  His nerves might have shut down due to all that injury," Forest said with a shake of her head.  "Why the hell would he come here though?  He was being a giant git when I met him."

"As for your new guest, Forest, do you want him removed from this place?" asked Karna.

Forest bit her lip and said, "I'm wondering why the bloody hell he's even here."

"Hell, I'm not sure he's even breathing."

Gabriel cleared his throat and said, "Maybe he needed protection from whatever beat him into an inch of his supernatural life.  It's not a secret that Law Unto Herself offers aid to those who need it.  Even if they have complete disregard to prized personal possessions."

Forest leaned forward, not moving too far away from Archer because he was still holding her by the wrist.  His grip wasn't as tight as it had been when he stopped the punch, but she wasn't going to shake away something putting warmth in that chill that never seemed to go away.  She peered at Lucas and said, "Well, he's just mostly dead . . . I wonder if he and that Wynn-like bitch got into it again."

"Someone like Mommy Dearest, my stomach churns at the very thought," Gabriel said with a long-suffering sigh.

Forest gritted her teeth and said, "Now that's who I'd really like to bugger up."

Lancer tilted his head and asked, "Sweet?  Well, I think that can be arranged."

He walked over to the bar and the bartender straightened up, his eyes brightening at the Celtic warrior standing in front of him.

Lancer said, "I'd like to start a tab.  Put it under 'Ulster'.  Start us off with something sweet for the young lass and Harp for me."

The bartender's eyes narrowed at Rin ever so slightly before he started to construct the beverages.

Forest at least seemed to calm down, or find a new target of her rage. Archer still kept his loose grip on her wrist though, cocking his head at the new name. Whoever this Wynn was, he had a feeling that they probably wouldn't get along too well. "Well, she's not here," Archer shrugged, "So if he's looking for a safe place I think this guy found it." His grey eyes turned to Karna for a second. "Throwing him to the wolves? I'd have thought more kindness would be shown by a saint of generosity."

Rin smiled as Lancer went about ordering the drinks- before noticing the bartender's glance at her. She frowned. What's his problem?

Narrowing her eyes, a smile on her lips with the faintest touch of poison, she addressed the bartender, her voice laced with elegance and authority. "Do you have a problem with me, bartender? Surely at an establishment like this, if you have such ill feeling towards a complete stranger, you would have the grace enough to mask it better."

"You are dearly mistaken. I am not throwing him to the wolves by asking our dear host if he should be removed. I am saving him from the horrible wrath of the she-beast that rules this house, and besides, if Grigori could not dispose of this thing I dare not call a true man, then I doubt anyone short of myself can."

"I take thee at thy word:
Call me but love, and I'll be new baptized;
Henceforth I never will be Romeo."

"I don't understand this at all, Master. They are of rival houses and will never be together, so why even try?", complained Assassin, leaning back into her seat.

"Well, Assassin, people do some crazy things for love", answered her master in kind in a whisper, eyes still on the scene at hand.

"Love... What even is love?", she grumbled.

"Well, I can't say I know much of it myself, but a friend of mine who got married early once described it to me. He said "Love is something you can't measure, decide or even understand. It has no value, but it's still the most wonderful thing in the world, which is why people search for all their life to find it."

"He sounds like he was quite the poet."

"He was. He was a fantastic poet and a devout man. At least until Iemitsu had his tongue torn out, his fingers slowly cut off with the strings of his own shamisen and then fed to the hounds", Shirou mused with just the smallest hint of bitterness on his voice.

"Oh." With that Assassin shut up once more and looked at the movie at hand.

'So that's what love is. How very odd.'

Azmortchal'um, as a False Face:
"Ah, so you are not from any reality similar to my own, Grigori." Azmortchal'um stated. While it was an issue that a being like this went under his radar for this long, it was better to know that he slipped up now rather than find out at a more...inconvenient time.

"Noah was the man who not only escaped my grasp many millennia ago, but actively fought against me." the Angry Night explained, "His descendants are those walking around the streets now."
