Lycodrake:
Lycodrake Aptera

The Sphinx's temporary defeat removed the pressure from its paw upon his head, especially his skull. Still cloaked in the golden power of Aegis, the wingless one struggled slightly to get up from where he had been smashed into the earth. He was not weak, but the strength of his scales was specifically attuned to resistance. While Aegis increased his defense and resistances extraordinarily, it did not completely render him invincible to damage.

He was no stranger to battle, but events were happening too fast for him - The Sphinx was trying to crush his skull only moments before Enkidu had slashed down with a giant sword. That started a chain reaction of events. In the end all that mattered was that The Hydra was defeated and The Sphinx had turned into a fiery tornado sent to attack them. But what is fire to a dragon such as he? The winds would hurt, yes, but with Aegis as his blessed shield, the wingless one was not worried about that.

So thinking, the wingless one rushed toward the now dismounted Enkidu, leaping to both catch the green-haired man and size-shifting again. He turned his entire body into a shield for his newfound friend, ready to endure the fiery storm.

YOLF:
Fate

Fate managed to shield himself from the blast of his own magic by guarding with his arms, but the power behind it rammed him full force into a wall. A brutal smacking sound reverbated and the wall was cracked in the shape of his body, but he took the impact without serious injury, even without his barrier.

Silence suddenly filled the room as Shiro once again used his sword to absorb his magic. The world stopped shaking and the constructs of the earth that rolled towards the priest in attack fell and crumbled away.

Slumping down from where he'd been thrown alongside falling chips of armored concrete and raw stone, Fate landed steadily on the ground in one knee. Shiro did not appear to be doing anything else, so the mage held himself there for a moment. He noted with desinterest his sleeves had ripped from the brunt of the magic blast he had taken, although the rest of his suit did not look so much better for the wear now. It wasn't important, so he regarded it without concern. And it was only with that returned coolness of mind that his attention was brought back to his surroundings.

'Ah. It appears I may have gone overboard.' he thought, taking in the devastation of the underground level.

His eyes went to Shiro before he rose from the ground and started slowly walking towards the man. Undoing his ruined tie and letting it fall, Fate approached his wounded and exhausted adversary and offered him a hand with a small smile.

"A good fight, Father Shiro. I hope that will suffice." he added, content about the exciting duel that he had briefly lost himself in.

MissingMandible:
Jonathan Mathews:

Everything just went SNAFU. Staff Sergeant Mathews, along with Specialist Cardigan, a Harlech Dragoon, and an Ogryn are now in an unfamiliar city all the while Cardigan's health is quickly deteriorating. He didn't know why she started gasping and vomiting, but he'll be damned if she were to die. Samantha was the only one of his squad to survive the assault on that maligned beast, the squad that he was sworn to take responsibility for! Hang on there, Sammy...

The Ogryn, who is apparently named Togg, was quick to sweep her up with one of his gigantic arms and carry her to where they need to go. The problem is is that Mathews has no idea whatsoever where the nearest Medicae Center was. The situation was getting worse; Samantha started to cough up blood...

"Sam, repeat after me," he tried to comfort her while grabbing hold of her left arm, "'Although my body is broken, although my blood pours away, although my time may end,the Immortal Emperor will greet me and embrace me with His holy aura, if only I constant to Him through this time of torment."

Samantha had to stop halfway through the prayer, lacking the strength to finish. Mathews didn't mind, he continued until it was finished. The Dragoon approached them, "She's not going to last, sergeant. She's afflicted with a disease from the Warp. It would be kinder to put her out of her misery." With that, she started to pull a Hotshot Laspistol from its holster on her belt.

"You will NOT kill her!" Jonathan all but shouted in response, shifting his body to block his squad mate. What the Dragoon said basically confirmed it; they were fighting daemons on Sephiron. As to why the average soldier was not privy to that knowledge was a question for later. Togg looked on, confused. "Togg, you watch over her. Nothing happens to her, you understand? I'm going to try to find us a ride."

The Ogryn nodded, and with a last withering look at the Dragoon, ran out from the alley way, snow crunching under his feet. It was fortunate that there was a wheeled vehicle coming up from the street, though he was unsure of the model. It mattered little, though. Jonathan ran out into the middle of the street and unholstered his Laspistol. He promptly fired it into the air, the red beam easily seen and the report easily heard.

Jonathan will find treatment for Specialist Samantha. She will not die this day...

Puck-Chan:
Henry

Henry grimly gripped the steering wheel as he drove. His patient was not a human, but an immortal of some sort. Obviously neither a vampire or werewolf, or otherwise Forest would've categorized him earlier. But that was more of a reason to hurry up. Whatever malady this person is suffering, it is likely to be something troublesome. As he stepped deeper onto the gas pedal, Henry sped up the car to cross the street.

But he suddenly jolted at the sound of some sort of laser that shot up a scarlet red up in the sky, causing the car to come to a momentary stop. Whoever shot it was dressed in some form of military dress that is unlike the kind he has ever seen in his world. Henry simply felt like speeding through to avoid being hit or something. But he doubted that he could out-maneuver the laser fast enough with the car holding his equipment.

With the BMW braking near the shooter, Henry pressed down the button to roll down the window. The frost met his warm face as he looked to address the armed soldier.

"I'm in a bit of a hurry, but what do you want?"

Daiki:

Enkidu didn't react in time, surprised that the Sphinx would turn itself into an abrasive twister. He only had enough time to jump back to not end up sharing the same fate as the Hydra. However the tornado would be on him before he could land and get away. He knew that he couldn't escape unscathed, so he braced himself for the worst.

But assistance came in time. He couldn't do much but watch the wyrm surrounding his body in an attempt to shield him. The sheer violence of the wind would have been enough to uproot a large forest and sending the trunks flying everywhere. On top of that, sand and fire would cause added damage. Dragons were sturdy creatures. He could only hope this much wouldn't be life threatening.

"Thank you, friend."

Enkidu pondered over a way to counterattack. There wasn't much to do now that the opponent had taken the battle to the sky. The phoenix would probably not give up at that point but there were no guarantee it could win. Neither him nor the Wingless One could go to its help separately. Even if Enkidu could make his approach unnoticed, fighting a flying elemental beast in its element while unable of flight himself, was straight up suicide. However, he was not fighting by himself. His eyes drifted to his companion doing its best to endure the scathing hurricane upon them.

"I need you to throw me!!" He announced, ignoring the noises produced by the storm.
