Cross Effects: Rebirth (2.0) The RP
MissingMandible:
Staff Sergeant Jonathan Mathews:
While Henry was getting his tools, Jonathan hurriedly pulled Samantha out of the back seat. She was now much worse than she was earlier, and were those freakin' maggots falling out of the two cuts?!
Carrying her bridal style, he turned to the other man, "Where should I lay her down at?!" Mathews all but demanded to know.

Chosen Undead
All the Knight could do was look on at the other two. Having no context, he was lost in this conversation from the get-go. "Well...That is an interesting tale..." he stammered.

Azmortchal'um, as a False Face
The loss of a False Face was unimportant. The knowledge of its existence unfortunate, but these two individuals do not truly know about what he truly was. Azmortchal'um will let this Azmortchal be dissected, curiosity being the major reason. If they alter any part, it will be eventually recycled, allowing the modification to become standard if deemed a worthy enough addition. And if the Locust King were to make any slip ups during his procedure, well, that is just more biomatter for the collective...
Daiki:
Kyle shrugged. "To be frank, I prefer it over 'Gabriel'. Matches better with someone who can push people into copulating with each other, don't you think? Even if the sprog isn't fond of it, I prefer to roll with that. Besides, I could come up with much worse if I wanted to, he's getting away pretty easily."
The question of gender didn't seem to matter for Wynn, which perplexed him. But what rubbed him the wrong way was another matter. "Gift is key? Are you saying that you would ignore the child if they weren't blessed with potential?"
Puck-Chan:
Henry
He grunted while he hefted out a box from the trunk. A container full of his necessary tools for the task he will have to face very soon.
"C'mon. Follow me," he ordered the soldier.
The doctor ran off towards the infirmary. As they would arrive, the harsh copper-ish scent would make his nostrils flare. He could see people huddling around who could presumably be his other patient.
"Hey, I hate to bother you all. But, I need someone to get the rest of my equipment. And I have another new patient."
Elf:
Wynn shrugged and said, "The archangels themselves were manipulative enough in Christian lore. Forest suggested that I name him something like Corbin, Roderick, Donovan or Duncan. Names that are heavily used in the Fae courts. I wanted to go against tradition, much like his conception."
She sighed at Kyle's accusation and said, "I would not ignore the child if they were not blessed with potential. Admittedly, I would prefer a gifted grandchild over a non magically adept one, but I would not have a wastrel barring my name."
Then she heard a loud commotion, people shouting and sighed. She tilted her forehead and said, "Admittedly, my curiosity is getting a hold of me. I am going to see what is going on down there and remove anyone who should not be here." With that, she vanished into her Shadows to head for the infirmary faster than she could walk down the steps.

Forest backed up as the sweet, bright crimson arch sprayed into the air. Its coppery sweet scent tinged with something like grass and clean earth made her fangs start to throb in her jaw and her vision flashed red for the briefest of moments. She reigned in her control as Archer backed away and grabbed the boards.
In the middle of setting the arm, the door was thrown open as Henry came in with a soldier carrying another soldier in tow. The smell of rot hit her nostrils and almost caused her to gag. The stench was coming from the woman in the solder's arms.
She's dying, Forest realized grimly. Then she looked at Karna. "Hey, wait, you've got almighty god powers and whatnot right? I think now might be a good time to use them." She pointed at the rotting woman, knowing that despite Henry's abilities, this was out of his league.

Lancer eyed Rin, saluted her with his glass, and said, "Frankly, that's more than the asshole deserves."
However he remembered a promise. That Rin hadn't wanted Archer dead. She cared for him, which was more than the bastard deserved, and Lancer wasn't going to kill him. He was going to beat the miserable traitor to an inch of his life and then throw him at Rin's feet to beg for forgiveness.
Just . . . things didn't turn out that way.
Come back when you're older.
This Rin wasn't that Rin. That Rin, despite being utterly drained and exhausted, was determined to heal him. He had waved her off, knowing that she couldn't stave his second death off.
He grinned at her and said, "Well, right now it's late. How about tomorrow though. I come back and I'll show you the town. We'll make a day of it. I'm off from work and a bit of a date sounds like its exactly what you need."

Rin returned the grin and nodded. "Sounds good. Better still, that means I get to see more of the city." She chuckled. "Heh, you're probably right. I do need a date. I'm looking forward to it."
