Arch-Magos Winter:

A bullet of purple energy shot straight towards the white giant, containing enough power to destroy the entire alley - but the blade of Hakumen would not be turned aside. The warrior rose to meet it in a devastatingly fast movement, his sword shearing through the pavement of the street to cut straight through the foul magic of the false god.

As soon as Ōkami touched the orb, it created a vacuum sphere - Fumajin - as large as Hakumen himself, that pulled the magic bullet straight into it's embrace and nullified it completely. The blade of Hakumen had cleaved straight through Grigori's magic with no resistance at all. As the sealing sphere dissipated, the white giant was hot on the sorceress's heels.

--- Quote from: Umbra of Chaos on May 28, 2014, 02:39:59 AM ---"Farewell warrior! I wish you luck!"
--- End quote ---

"You-! Halt!"

Even as the giant warrior unleashed a powerful strike, the sorceress tore yet another hole in reality that closed just as his blade reached it. Growling in disgust, Hakumen resheated his sword, the mechanism built into the sheathe making it much easier. Turning to leave, he noticed the man that had not finished away trying in vain to start his car. The warrior made his way over to the side of the car and put his hand atop the roof, bending down to the man inside.

"I require a ride. I would be obliged if you would give it to me."

Even though it held a ring of truth, Hakumen was more interested than the man in the car instead of a ride itself. The two before had spoken of him as a murderer, and though the white giant made a point of not trusting the words of evil, a body dead from a gunshot wound was somewhat incriminating. The massive warrior was level to Law, his eyeless mask looking straight at the black-haired man.

--- End quote ---

Law wasn't sure at this point how to react. This giant of a man had just taken a massive attack of magical energy and... poof. It was gone. He'd slashed through it with that massive two handed sword, like it was nothing - and had made it nothing. That, no matter how you looked at it, was something to be afraid of. Plus, he was interested in him. Because he'd killed a man. And this guy was some sort of crazy strong sense of justice, with a sword as long as he was tall. Son. Of. A. Bitch.

He also couldn't see his face through that mask, which was bone white and creepy as shit.

What are you waiting for? Let him in.

'...'

He can't swing that sword inside the car. It's too large.

'I know that, but he'll still be right next to us. And he's huge.'

So? He'll be inside our range as well. Armor can't stop us...

'Just for the record, you are the worst voice anyone's head to listen to. Ever.'

The driver's gurgling chuckles echoed in Lawrences mind as he rolled down the window. "...Against my fervent desire to get away from here as fast as I can, sure."

Law shoved the .45 into a coat pocket of his, motioning with his head to the passenger side seat. "Put the sword in the back, should fit, at an angle. Try not to scratch the leather, please, this day has been bad enough already."

Kurogami:

--- Quote from: Knick on May 27, 2014, 03:33:31 AM ---Tokiomi smiled, “Thank you for the offer, but I simply do not have the time to learn another spell, especially one which would require as much knowledge as your apparently does.” Taking another sip simply began to enjoying the tea to the fullest, giving Minato the time to answer Jojo’s questions.

--- End quote ---

Minato gave a knowing smile upon hearing tokiomi's response.

"I understand, well the offer is still open if you change your mind."

Minato realized something suddenly.

"Now that I think of it, do either of you have any place to stay?"

The Man With All The Cute Boats:

--- Quote from: Ivan The Mouse on May 28, 2014, 07:11:51 AM ---"Um, um..." Yukina stumbled on her words. "It is near the Nexus City Cola billboard, where the minotaur is selling hotdog sandwiches, amongst other big houses and near the shops. It is a big house made of brick with a wooden storehouse and a garage..." She then exhaled as if she was helpless. "...I am sorry, stranger. We do not know the address to our house right now. I guess it cannot be helped."

Rattus then suddenly interjected. "You'll know it when you see it, young man." He then turned around and said, "I suggest that you ride home with us so that you will know what it looks like. I suggest that you kindly accept this offer. Now, would you?"

--- End quote ---
"No, I'm good. Near the billboard, minotaur selling hot dogs, wooden storehouse and garage, know it when I see it, blah blah. I'll come bother you if I need anything," Ragna said with a note of finality. "That goes both ways. I got jack shit to do, so bother me if you need anything."

He took a heavy, uncomfortable breath and made to walk away, hoping he wouldn't get another interruption. He had a meal to both find and eat, preferably in peace.

And this time, it looked like he successfully avoided a dine and dashing partner. It had to happen eventually.

Brahmastra:
Karna had wandered the streets for almost a full hour by now, ignoring the various phenomena he had noticed like the conflict on the tower he had been sitting on and night turning to day for a few seconds. Until now, he had simply walked around the city's "Entertainment District", bearing witness to all of the wonderful people who roamed the streets, having fun, spending time with their loved ones.

His face did not show it one bit, but such things brought him great joy. It was why he tried so hard to help and keep happy the denizens of his Kingdom of Anga during his rule of 44 years. For Karna, the superficial beauty of a human's exterior meant little-to-nothing. No, to the Saint of Generosity, who held all humans and their beliefs in equal esteem, what made humans so beautiful to him were their mindsets, their conflicts, their burdens, all that encompassed the true nature of theirs that Karna saw, their inner self.

For that reason, a place where those humans all felt joy in the presence of other humans was a paradise on earth for the Indian hero.

But yet, despite being so absorbed with inner joy, Karna had noticed it.

No, them.

Numerous bugs and insects of various kinds, all clearly showing signs of being controlled by a Magus, were everywhere in the city, and the Entertainment District was no different. They were clearly set up for monitoring, not just him, but every man and woman in the city. As a hero, it would be his duty to protect the smiles of those people that brought him such great joy. For that reason, he had to know if the Magus could possibly have malignant intentions.

With the speed of a pouncing cheetah, Karna jumped through the air and caught a prana-laced dragonfly by the tail with the tips of two fingers before it could even react, holding it firmly but not applying any crushing pressure.

His voice stern as a mountain, he spoke.

"Magus. I know you can hear me. I desire to know the purpose of these defiled creatures of nature."

Knick:
Zolgen sat in his workshop, calming watching the actions of the masked man Hakumen and the one who peeked his interest, his bugs hidden sending information to Zolgen almost constantly.

That was until one of his bugs in the entertainment district was caught by something drawing his attention to it.

--- Quote from: Brahmastra on May 29, 2014, 01:12:44 AM ---"Magus. I know you can hear me. I desire to know the purpose of these defiled creatures of nature."

--- End quote ---

Zolgen heard him, a voice that brought back memories of the second Holy Grail war. Back before the church was involved and the corruption of the greater grail occurred, back when he still had hope for his old dream. He knew better then to keep the Son of Surya waiting, his power was massive in the second war, it was fortunate his master died the way he did.

Zolgen issued the command to his familiars the second time for the day. His form was constructed once again as it was earlier, this time in front of the son of the sun.

He then spoke, “What do I owe the pleasure of your attention, oh Karna, Son of Surya?”
