Kurogami:
With a slight smile Minato introduced himself in return.

"Arisato Minato, nice to meet you."

Minato then took a closer look at the young man, Tokiomi as he had named himself.

Looks like he's been through the grinder.

Not quite the best use of that phrase but yes.

"You look like you have had the worst kind of bad day."

Knick:

Smiling and regaining some of his confidence Tokiomi replied, "Yes that is a way to say it I assume."

Crossing his arms and gesturing to the place the unconscious body once occupied he continued, "That was rather impressive, how did you-"

Howling cut him off, very very loud howling. Most likely from multiple sources.

Tokiomi froze, before putting his face in one of his hand and reaching for some of his gems in his pocket.

"Yes, 'worst kind of bad day' indeed."

Elf:
Forest had to slam her foot on the break, suddenly downshift, and swerve to the side before hitting some guy who was just staring at her car.  Sighing, she turned off the engine, slid the keys out of her pocket and climbed out.  She went over to the poor person with a frown.

"Hey, it's really not good for your health to gawk at cars, even if they are awesome," she said before smiling, "Are you okay?"

Gabriel was walking out of the local liquor store, a bottle of fine scotch in his hand.  He figured he would go back to his place and relax tonight.  Then tomorrow, I can sate a need, he thought with a smirk.

Mooncake:

"Ho?"

That voice, that single, arrogant, self-assured voice rang out in the night. And why would it not be arrogant and self-assured? The man - no, the Golden King that spoke with it was one who had nothing to fear from anything. As one who held all the treasures of the world, an existence that could fight on the same level, and even surpass, the Son of Surya himself, every fiber of his perfect being rang with confidence.

The Golden King observed the curse from the top of a lamppost, his crimson eyes regarding Uchiten in faint amusement. The barely contained power that resided within his golden figure could be felt by those below him, hinting to them that this was an existence capable of bringing about their permanent end. And yet... the King merely stood upon the lamppost, his mouth twisted in a faint smirk.

"What a strange thing, wretched curse, to be before me and not offer your obedience."

The Golden King's words carried no malice, no hatred. He seemed genuinely amused that Uchiten and his spirits were not bowing to him, the Original King who united humanity against the gods. His crimson eyes narrowed for a moment, a contrast against his dark suit.

"No matter. Continue on your way, little thing. Gilgamesh, King of Heroes, gives you that right."

With a single step, he had traversed the distance between where he had stood and the Tokyo Tower. Standing on top of it, the King of Heroes withdrew an elegant, golden cellphone. Sleek and incredibly efficient, even the mere modern phone of the King held indescribable value to any mortal. With but a single touch, the phone was alive in Gilgamesh's hands, glowing faintly as numerous golden lines traced their way across it's surface.

With but a single glance the King placed a call, uncaring of the social conventions of time or distance. He was returning a call that had been placed earlier today, which had stopped at the secretary's desk and not gone further. She had promptly been fired, of course. He cared little for those who could not complete such a task to the satisfaction of the King.

His call was answered immediately, and Gilgamesh spoke without warning, his tone a command that could not be disobeyed.

"You will connect me to your leader, Fate Averruncus."

Kurogami:
"More cannon fodder, you'd think they'd learn eventually."

There were about ten of them, all nearly identical masses of fur and teeth that had stalked out of the alleys nearby.

Showing no concern Minato simply asks Tokiomi.

"So how about you take the five on the right, I take the left, and then we go somewhere else to talk? If we stay out here there will be waves of interruptions till morning."
