Cross Effects: Rebirth (2.0) The RP
Elf:
Gabriel smirked as he suddenly removed his fingers as he held them up to her. They were slick and stained with his seed, her lust, and her blood. "Well, I think this time you should be a more active participant."
Ivan The Mouse:
--- Quote from: Knick on June 01, 2014, 01:09:36 AM ---Turning back to the swing he opened a cooler sitting on the ground behind it, taking out a beer. He held it up and showed it to his visitors.
“Want one?”

"No, thank you." Rattus replied. "I would be taking one if the absinthe from my flask has ran out already. But it has not."
"Ah, thank you, but I do not think I can." Yukina answered, bowing down slightly. She would have requested for sake instead, but opted not to.
Rattus then looked at the direction of the creature made to stone by Shiro's perhaps inhuman skills of throwing objects. Its silhouette indicated to him that it was something human-like, unlike what could be imagined when talking about supernatural creatures. But then again, Rattus didn't notice it sneaking into the church until the church-keeper did. "By the way you talk about No Man's Land..." he said to him. "...it does seem like something I have seen before, only worse. But to say that strength alone matters in such a place would be ignoring that you just turned this creature into a mass of hard matter using only your speed." He then turned to Shiro himself and continued. "We should never forget that in warfare, speed and mobility matters the most."
"But it is very worrying, Shiro-san." Yukina said. "If these kinds of people and monsters could claim land in this city, what is stopping them from trying to claim more?"
"And what's stopping the authorities from retaking this area and restoring order to it?" he asked some more. "That is, if there's any semblance of legal authority in this city. But even if there isn't, it seems that even the protectors themselves cannot be bothered to organize and lay out an overall strategic plan to recapture No Man's Land."
Yukina then walked towards the humanoid statue to examine it closely. "...Is it a vampire?" she curiously asked.
"If Yukina is right about her observation, then our normal weapons are useless." Rattus postulated. "And therefore, I should procure something that can stand a match against these creatures. Do you have any recommendations for us, Mister Shiro?"
Brahmastra:
A challenge for her? Truthfully she had been simply basking in his adoration of her body and let him have his way with her, something she enjoyed thoroughly.
But maybe taking a more dominant approach might also be fun. Yes, definitely so.
Licking his fingers clean without a care for what was on them, she gave him the answer she was sure he wanted.
"Well then I guess I shouldn't keep you waiting."
Placing herself between his legs and forcing them apart, La Folia caught the sight of his still-mostly-erect member.
Grasping it with one hand, her pillow-soft palm began to gently work his shaft.
She had always wanted to try this.

Shiro took the cigarette out of his mouth, before he used his thumb as a bottle opener. The bottle cap spinning into the air before landing in a small trash basket that already had multiple bottles and caps.
“You seem to misunderstand by what I meant by ‘strength’, I meant strength in the meaning of the sum of one’s capabilities, physical, magical, skill, and etcetera.” Shiro took a sip while dropping his almost finished cigarette before stomping on it. “And my speed isn’t what turn it to stone, don’t be ridiculous” he started chuckling at the thought.

“Honestly? I do not know why or why not to any of those questions. Perhaps there are far too powerful entities in this region that I know of. Perhaps there is someone preventing it from spreading. I simply don’t care much, I focus on simply what I need to do, no reason to worry about too much more.”
Shiro then took another drink of his beer while contemplating the answers to the rest of their questions.

He looked at Yukina and gave her a smile, "Good eye, ya, it's a vampire. I angered a rather large group a while ago, been trying ever since."
“And as for your weapons… really it depends. Vampire territory is more to the south west. If you stay away from there you should not have to deal with them much. There is too much variety within the groups of them to say anything specific would be effective, best bet would be blessed tool but even then it is not always the case.”
Thinking back to the gun he was told about and the blade he was shown Shiro continued, “Well, that gun is well made, a few good bullet shots will put down a lot of things. Not for long, but it might help you escape.” He then looked at Yukina’s blade, “But the blade will not do you much good against something that can be in its range faster than you can blink.”
He gulped down the remainder of his beer. “Honestly I would say get bodyguards of some kind, especially if you plan on going to vampire territory or deeper into the no-man’s land, if not then just stay away. I won’t be able to help myself sadly. Have my hands full keeping the Church safe you see.” He then tossed the bottle over his shoulder. It spun in the air for a moment before it landed in the basket perfectly.
Puck-Chan:
--- Quote ---She bit her lip, looked at Iron Man Bird and started to stroke his head. "Calm down, Iron Bird Man, we're going to help you, so please don't hurt the nice man." She looked at the doctor? medic? He had the temperament of either. "I don't think I caught your name."
--- End quote ---
"Henry," he tersely answered as he finally was by the buzzard's side. It looks like she can keep his mammoth patient under control as he applied the necessary care.
The doctor still remembered hearing uncomfortable snapping sounds from the earlier thrashing. Examining the very size of the bird-man, his critical eye could see the right arm suffered from dislocation despite its bulky leather. In fact its prior labored crawl verified it for him. But that couldn't be just it. There had to be something else. Gazing over to its wings and legs, they seemed to be functioning just fine. Especially when Grigori did the work for him on that part. So, then why couldn't it just fly? It was a question where Henry quickly found an answer to. With his index finger, he pushed up the rim of his glasses while causing the moonlight to glaze over them like earlier.
"Dislocation on the right shoulder. Labored breathing suggests affected thoracic damage," the doctor's voice spoke in monotone to himself as he continued to gloss through the body, "Definitely some broken ribs from all that floundering earlier. If he crawled any longer he might've cut an organ open."
Without further ado, Henry breathed deeply through his nose and held it as he closed his eyes. Somewhere inside was the last of the magical energy that had been drained. It rumbled and swirled tumultuously as the doctor manipulated its flow. Black-pupil eyes flit back open as his hands were held onto the birdman's affected area.
"Kaaah..."
Visible white danced out of his open maw like the temperance of a fog. As he had exhaled, both the ribs and the arm were regenerating at a rather astonishing speed matching Henry's own regenerative capabilities. Only mere seconds have passed once his hands finally pulled away from his patient. Yet, a sudden wave of exhaustion and dizziness caused him to palm his face for a moment. From the corner of his eye, he noticed familiar dancing shadows. An abrupt shake of his head dismissed them... for now.
"That should do it," he finally sighed as his hand was lifted away from his face, "How are you feeling, Big Bird?"
