Arch-Magos Winter:

"Eh?" what her Master said caught her by surprise. She got pretty flustered at his words, and her dignified facade dropped almost completely  "You don't know about the Holy Grail War? Did you... " the woman clad in armor could not believe something like that could have happened "summon me by chance?"

Lawrence rubbed the back of his head sheepishly with his free hand.  "I think I did." A bit of white chalk dust got into his brown hair, but he didn't really care at the moment. "Um, Mordred, is that a problem?"

Kat:
"No, not at all! Of course I will win the Holy Grail War for my Master, I am Saber class Servant after all". It seemed the dignified air surrounding her when she was summoned evaporated, as she started to brag in front of her Master
"It doesn't matter if Master is completely ignorant about it, I will still crush other Servants."

She seems full of herself. Despite her obviously not understanding the entire situation. Though if someone wants to fight us in a war... The Driver's chuckles were filtered out by Lawrences own mind and voice.

"...I don't think you understand. I don't think there's a Holy Grail War going on now. At all."

Her enthusiasm though, was rather adorable. Sort of like a puppy wagging it's tail when someone told it it was a good girl.

Kat:
"Huh?" Now she was lost. However, after a while Mordred went on full denial mode, trying to rationalize the situation she ended up in "Master, there is no way I could be summoned here without Grail's assistance. You have Command Spells after all" saying that she approached her Master and grabbed the arm where he had his Command Spells "See, you must have bumped head or something, and lost your memories. There must be somewhere those things your people call hospitals, they could fix you, Master!" She looked as if she was ready to have his Master treated, by force even, just to get on this Holy Grail War thing.

Ivan The Mouse:

--- Quote from: Knick on June 01, 2014, 05:23:57 AM ---He looked at Yukina and gave her a smile, "Good eye, ya, it's a vampire. I angered a rather large group a while ago, been trying ever since."

“And as for your weapons… really it depends. Vampire territory is more to the south west. If you stay away from there you should not have to deal with them much. There is too much variety within the groups of them to say anything specific would be effective, best bet would be blessed tool but even then it is not always the case.”

Thinking back to the gun he was told about and the blade he was shown Shiro continued, “Well, that gun is well made, a few good bullet shots will put down a lot of things. Not for long, but it might help you escape.” He then looked at Yukina’s blade, “But the blade will not do you much good against something that can be in its range faster than you can blink.”

He gulped down the remainder of his beer. “Honestly I would say get bodyguards of some kind, especially if you plan on going to vampire territory or deeper into the no-man’s land, if not then just stay away. I won’t be able to help myself sadly. Have my hands full keeping the Church safe you see.” He then tossed the bottle over his shoulder. It spun in the air for a moment before it landed in the basket perfectly.

--- End quote ---

"Well, I am an arms dealer myself, so I opted to keep such a fine handgun for personal use." The bespectacled businessman said. "But make no mistake, as much as my firearm prides itself on its superb accuracy, it has a few issues regarding the rounds it must use as well as it's adversity to dirt. It is an old design, so I think the faults are inherent to it. Nonetheless, I entrust myself to Georg Luger's creation, for it has never failed me as long as I don't fail to take proper care of it. As for our blades, please do bear it mind that these are not the weapons we use for offensive combat. It's simply for self-defense and we would not dare to face large concentrations of enemy forces with such, especially now that you have divulged such information to us. That is, unless, our mission requires massive amounts of stealth and infiltration in it. And one more thing..." Rattus then removed his glasses to clean them with a clean piece of cloth her drew out from his coat. While doing so, he kept talking some more. "...Please do forgive my two seemingly incorrect statements. The first of them is about the word 'strength'. I usually use such to refer to physical abilities. I myself use the word 'might' instead to convey overall abilities in fighting. The second is about your speed turning the vampire into stone. What I meant is that your speed aided in doing such, not directly causing it. Besides, I don't know what actually caused it in the first place." He then wore his glasses again and kept his cloth back.

On the other hand, Yukina still examined the "statue" of the vampire. In her close observations of it, she noticed something sticking out of the vampire's body. It was some sort of a sword, not enough to be considered a full sword due to its thin width, neither a dagger due to its length. She poked at it repeatedly to see if it can be pulled out and how ductile the metal is. It seemed to be deeply embedded into the statue and also seemed to be both bouncy and hard enough at the same time. Yukina then realized something. "Shiro-san," she called him. "What do you call this sword over here? If this turned the vampire into stone, then how come we did not see you carrying it around?"
