YOLF:
Fate Averruncus

In a large office located in the business section of Nexus City, a man typed absentmindedly at a keyboard while slowly sipping a cup of coffee. An assortment of folders and documents lay scattered in a semi-organized way across the desk, and rows of dossiers filled the various shelves tall against the walls of the room. A large map of Nexus City was stuck on the wall behind the desk, colored lines on it marking the borders of several areas. A few needles with colored spherical tips were stuck on specific places.

Fate Averruncus was working on a report to be sent to one of the technological research labs he had recently associated with, detailing further specifications and corrections to be made to their current advancements on the matter of combat cybernetics and advanced combat armor. With the knowledge of his world, in a more advanced technological state compared to Nexus City, he had helped boost their research forward by a significant amount, but even with the constant help, progress was far too slow for his liking.

If he wanted to have his security teams running with optimized full body armor and upgrade their arms to make them a force capable of enforcing peace on the lower supernatural forces in town, another kind of helping hand was required. Money, manpower, unrestricted access to top of the line materials. In other words, resources he did not currently have and he could not make up for simply with his presence.

And as he was considering that with a long sip of his coffee, his internal line rang, and he heard the now familiar voice of his secretary through the terminal.

"S-sir, call on line 1 for you right now."

He resisted the slight urge to raise an eyebrow. In her short time working for him, he had never heard the woman stutter, nor be anything approaching rude or rushed with him. Yet there was now incredible shakiness in her voice, as though she was facing an overwhelming presence that threatened to crush her. Considering it, there was only one individual who Fate knew could inflict such a reaction on another through even the simplest of words.

Understanding, he decided to not hold it against her, put down his coffee cup and took the call.

"This is Fate Averruncus speaking. Greetings, King Of Heroes Gilgamesh. I appreciate that you found the time to contact me." Fate said over the line, keeping his tone neutral, but acknowledging. Although there was not anything like awe or reference present in his voice, the weight of proper importance was given to the one on the other end of the line. Fate addressed him with nothing less than respectful professionalism.

Elf:
Oh wow, awkward much, Forest thought as the man she had almost ran over was stating he needed apple seeds and water.  She answered, "Well, there's a Wal-Mart not too far from here.  I'm pretty sure you can get both there.  Because plants need water."

However, as she talked, she sensed something, a bloodlust in the air.  Her keen ears picked up the sound of a blade being unsheathed and someone running towards them.  She spun around to see the attacker grow near and automatically put herself in front of the bumpkin.

She pulled out her gun and got ready to respond.

Ivan The Mouse:
After they ate their light snack and shopped for groceries, Rattus and Yukina began their walk out of the Hub Mall. "Alright. We have bought supplies that can last for a week and we have eaten at a cafe. So should we head home now, then?" he said to her.

"Um..." She pondered, carrying the two paper bags in her arms. "...I think we should explore more of this city, Rattus-san."

"What kind of exploration would it be, Yukina?"

She then answered, "I think we should just drive around and try to look for stores that would be interesting!"

"Well, since I'm also looking for a mining company, I guess I'll go with your suggestion." Rattus acknowledged as they approached their old car.

When they finally got to driving around the city, they both decided to ride at a speed slower than normal, just like taking as stroll. Rattus was behind the wheel and Yukina as on the lookout for stores she would want to visit, such as a general anime and manga store or a hardware store. But while looking around the streets of this new city, the Japanese woman noticed someone...

"Damn it. I guess, I should get some food, get my strength back. Then... I'll figure things out."

With this Ragna walks towards the city, away from the statue, in search of a restaurant.

"Rattus-san, please stop!" Yukina suddenly exclaimed as she took sight to a man in red, who was seemingly tired, as it manifested in his physical appearance. Rattus immediately braked his car when he heard her. She then went down the car and ran towards the man in red with the giant sword. Upon reaching him, she then asked "Stranger, are you alright?"

Rattus also exited his vehicle and started to walk towards Yukina while she was observing the man.

'The innocent is defending the evil. Deluded innocent. Must die. Must neutralize evil first. Threat to great.'

Amelia swung her sword, red lighting passing harmlessly though the woman with no magic and surged at the evil.  Spinning on her heel after the swing she picked four round spheres with her left hand from her pouches, tossing them at the evil at an arc, over the woman. With all her speed such an action took no more then a second.

'There that should deal with the evil'.

"Those who protect evil must die". And she began charge at the woman with all her speed.

Puck-Chan:
The socket hissed as the tube reconnected onto it. The connection also made an immediate audible click once his fingers let go. He looked on expectantly for a reaction, but nothing seemed to be happening. Perhaps, it was too late for this poor creature. It was all alone in this city. Completely alien by existence. Henry shook his head and sighed at this as he felt its life was waning away.

"Sorry, whoever you are. There's really not much I can do," he apologized sadly at the construct with a hand on its metallic beak, "At the very least you're not the only one who's a stranger in these parts."

Henry gave another pat, until a sudden jolt from behind. There was an ungodly amount of spiritual energy emanating away from this location. His curiosity had again peaked with his attention away from the dying creature. But it was a dilemma. To leave it here to die alone? It seemed cruel, but--

He quietly made a promise, "I'll be back. Just sit tight."

It wasn't a very long run, neither was he out of breath. While the night was still relatively young, the trail of energy continued to spew away as if with the fluidity of a river. Out of all these years Henry was on Earth, this was his first time experiencing this kind of phenomenon. Certainly this city-- no, rather this world provided such strange wonders here.

It was getting closer now. The intensity of the flowing energy increased with each step towards it. But then, an interesting spectacle forced him to finally stop to hide behind the concealment of a wall and its overbearing shadows. With his eyes peaking over the wall, the scene promises to be a violent one.

A woman was clearly armed with a handgun aimed at another, cloaked in scarlet electricity, who was already throwing itself to attack. Whoever this one was, he was really fast and the aggression was apparent. Glancing over to the side, was an innocent green trashcan...

The bombs were about to arc over this blonde lady's head. But at the same time, as if intercepting the trajectory of the incoming live ammunition, the ample bowels of trashcan duly received them before allowing any to separate on their respective routes. With bombs collected into that simple waste basket full of yesterday's half-finished spaghetti, it was already on a collision course to land upon the armed aggressor.
