Knick:
Tokiomi felt a jolt when turning onto the block where his hotel was, a signal for intruders managing to deactivate the bounded fields protecting his workshop. Dropping his bag he took off into a sprint. It was not long before he reached the hotel lobby where he was greeted by the old woman who ran the front desk.

“Oh, welcome back young man. Your sister and her friend showed up and I sent them to your room.” She said to Tokiomi smiling.

Tokiomi frowned, sister? Could it simply be someone that resembles him? No, it could be many things due to the nature of this city. Thanking the old lady he ran to the elevator and took it up to his floor. It does not matter who they are, they still broke into his workshop so he has to treat them as a threat.

When he arrived he immediately noticed the deactivation of all his bounded fields. That was fast, granted they were not his best barriers, but even then to take them all down so quickly.

Biting his lip he began to focus the prana contained in the ring on his right hand. Opening the door he slipped into his room, before quietly moving down the hall. He noticed small amounts of ice, indicating one of his traps were activated. Seems whoever they are where able to break out of it though.

Reaching the open door to the main room, Tokiomi took a deep breath and grabbed his right arm with is left, preparing to use the powerful fire spell stored in the ring. Entering he saw the two of them in the connected room, his workshop, looking around and discussing something.

Two girls it looked like, one with hair color similar to his and another with red hair. And he could feel faint magical energy around them, definitely magi.

Moving up as quietly to the doors as possible he raised his right arm began to speak. “I would expect more courtesy from a fellow Magus, to break into my workshop and home with no prompting. Rather improper, if you ask me”

The burning hand and the prana coming from the ring made the threat apparent. “Now, would you please tell me of the reason of your intrusion?” No matter how politely he spoke the chill and bite in his tone was obvious. After all to break into one’s workshop is one of the greatest insults to a magus.

Umbra of Chaos:
Grigori watched with a smile on her face as Karna closed in. The barrier around her changed from the shape of a spear to a solid wall, but Karna's strength could not be denied. His lance cut through the barrier, and cut off both of Grigori's hands. The strike towards her hamstrings was stopped by Grigori altering the barrier. The wall that was being cut through so easily had shrunk to the size of a shield and was flooded with extra mana. It began to block the strikes, but every hit left a crack in it. She began to gather mana, and the moment the barrier broke a blast of wind launched Grigori several meters away from Karna. She was just outside of the magic circle.

"Boom."

The circle was filled to the brim with mana, and fired a beam of energy with enough force to wipe armies from the face of the earth straight towards Karna.

Alice:
Rin and Mille
"Sorry for violating your private space, sir, but we did not know whether you were friend or foe, and our present situation made it so some impropriety was necessary." Mille said all this with her cheeks almost as red as her hair. She turned to Rin, expecting the taller girl to poke fun at her for allowing her weakness to show through in such a way, but Rin seemed... preoccupied, to say the least.

He looks like... No, it can't be! Rin put on the best poker face she could and gave a polite bow.

"My apologies as well for violating your workshop. As my apprentice here was trying to say, this invasion was prompted by unusual circumstances." She straightened herself up, ignoring the indignant squeak of, "Apprentice?!" from Mille. "My name is Tohsaka Rin. My companion is Millie Garrison."

"Mille, not Millie," Mille muttered to herself.

"We were sent by the Magus Association to this dimension to investigate the source of the dimensional rift that lead us here. Would you happen to know any information about the rifts?"

Rin kept her eyes squarely on the oddly familiar young man, for she needed answers. Namely the ones that would come with the revelation of his name. So much so that Mille sulking next to her didn't even register.

Kurogami:
A little over an hour ago something strange began to happen in Minato's dorm. Holy Grail Lucifer suddenly started releasing a strange light for almost a minute, then again about half an hour later. Now Minato is staring at the offending object and pondering what to do about it.

First, switch to something else, that high and mighty attitude you get with Messiah is annoying.

Minato's eyes widened slightly for just a moment before he wordlessly switched to Orpheus.

That's better, I prefer it when you don't give a fuck.

...

Though, isn't this about the point where something bad happens?

As soon as Thanatos made that unwise statement, one of the few people allowed through his front door walked in.

A large muscular man with a large mustache, one that made it just as apparent that it was unwise to mess with him as it was that he was very old.

"The Eternal Elder, what would make them send you?"

The old man with a very, very large mustache grinned.

"Why I volunteered, my old friend."

Minato just sighed.

"So, what suicide mission did you pick me for this time?"

YOLF:
Uchiten

Hidden behind a spell of concealment, Uchiten smiled at the escalation of the fight below between the sorcereress that stenched of death and the golden warrior with the radiance of the sun. His familiars watched alongside him with various degrees of excitement. Shi looked comically pumped at the exhibition, like a fan watching a wrestling match. Homura looked positively anxious and in expectation, tail wagging from side to side, showing an almost innocent, fanged smile. Zan was the only one notably quiet, but his gaze was entirely focused on the events they were observing.

The onmyouji and his familiars were standing on air high above the streets, supported by a platform of wind. One of Uchiten's hands was set in a simple seal, straight and close to his chest, simultaneously supporting their foothold and hiding their presence.

It would've been easier to hide (not that this was hard) if his familiars had returned to their astral forms, as minus Homura the youkai were not particularly skilled at that kind of control of spiritual energy, but the specter had asked them to accompany him and had no intentions of now ruining the enjoyment they were sharing in. Homura herself was too caught up in the fight to even erase her presence herself, thus it necessitated Uchiten to include the entire group in his spell.

Well, not that it was particular worrisome even if they were detected. It was simply that they had just arrived at this place they had learned was called Nexus City, and so were still unfamiliar and ill prepared to truly enjoy the boon of struggling with the powers it harbored.

Uchiten licked his lips in consideration of what the city had to offer.

A little caution was just par for the course.
