Knick:
"Tohsaka... Rin?" He muttered as he lowered his hand letting the spell disperse harmlessly. His face was as stone, having a poker face as good as Rin's.

But inside Tokiomi was confused. There has never been a member of the Tohsaka named Rin. But there was something about her that he just couldn’t place, she was familiar yet not, how odd.

On top of that she had a perfect poker face and let no emotions slip though as she talked, minus the brief shock she had when she saw him. Something he should expect from a magus.

Her ‘apprentice’ on the other hand was an open book. She is incredibly expressive and earnest from the looks of it. He embarrassment at being caught trespassing and her annoyance at being called an apprentice invading her features with ease. In all honesty it was adorable, even though it was somewhat pitiful for a magus in such a situation.

But even still, they said they were from the Magus Association and from another dimension. Probably different from his own due to Rin’s existence, and honestly he has dealt with stranger things since arriving in this city.

“Wait. Did you say you investigating a dimensional rift?” He looked at them shocked for a moment before sighing and face-palming, letting his poker face fall at the complete annoyance of his own failed experiment. “Did I really screw it up that badly that it is affecting other dimensions?” He muttered into his hand.

“Well I suppose I should introduce myself as well. I am Tokiomi. It is a pleasure to meet mages from the association.” He bowed with grace and elegance. “Especially such lovely ladies as you two”.

The fact that potential friends where fighting was the first thing Phoenix realized, and so Phoenix became distracted from the golden king and gaia child and focused to the energy and emotions surging from the city.

Phoenix’s head turn north west, where there was a massive amount of clashing emotions and surges of power, mixed within the emotions where feelings of enjoyment, calm, and others that are alien to Phoenix. Igniting its flames it took to the skies and entered the clouds as it moved to the conflict.

Moving above the clouds in the sky above the fight Phoenix allowed its flames to burn, growing in size until it was as large as it could be. It could feel the presence of three powerful people, one of which was hidden along with multiple entities that where tied to it, and Phoenix was unable to tell specifically where they where.

And so Phoenix began to go about ending the fight between the two it could find. With a flap of its wings hundreds of spirits where born, tasked with one simple command, to stop the to be friends from fighting.

And so over 300 firebirds dived towards the street, the sky emptied of clouds by the energy emanating from Phoenix, to stop the fight no matter what.

Arch-Magos Winter:

--- Quote from: Cool Kat on June 03, 2014, 05:48:22 PM ---"What do you mean?" Modred honestly asked Lawrence. It did not register on her mind to wear underwear since no such things existed in her age. The Holy Grail only gave Servants knowledge that was necessary, though it could possibly be that due to her botched summoning she was given less information than she should have received in a normal Holy Grail War.

"Errrm..."

Go on and tell her

'DO YOU HAVE ANY IDEA HOW AWKWARD IT IS TO EXPLAIN THIS!?'

Just do it you fucking pussy.

"...You know what, fuck it, it doesn't matter." Law found a cashier and purchased the clothing, leaving the PS3 behind for the moment. Honestly, he'd need cash for other, more important things. Like food. And fixing his car. No matter how much Mordred would grumble about leaving that behind, it just wasn't worth it for him.

Pussy.

'Shut up. It's not like this'll matter, or she's wearing a skirt.'

You're still a pussy.

With that Law started to browse through the food court, settling on getting both Mordred and himself a couple slices of pizza to go. It wasn't much but Law was starting to feel the crash coming on from staying up for the last few days. He felt like utter and total shit, and without question he was going to after this immediately go and find some cheap as shit motel to crash in. Never mind that he had a few thousand in spending money, from the wallets of a few of his killers (Turns out drug pushers do carry a lot of dough), he wasn't going to waste it on something he didn't need at the moment.

Handing Mordred the paper plate with her slice on it he started munching on his.

Brahmastra:

--- Quote from: Umbra of Chaos on June 03, 2014, 11:50:40 PM ---Grigori watched with a smile on her face as Karna closed in. The barrier around her changed from the shape of a spear to a solid wall, but Karna's strength could not be denied. His lance lance cut through the barrier, and cut off both of Grigori's hands. The strike towards her hamstrings was stopped by Grigori altering the barrier. The wall that was being cut through so easily had shrunk to the size of a shield and was flooded with extra mana. It began to block the strikes, but every hit left a crack in it. She began to gather mana, and the moment the barrier broke a blast of wind launched Grigori several meters away from Karna. She was just outside of the magic circle.

"Boom."

The circle was filled to the brim with mana, and fired a beam of energy with enough force to wipe armies from the face of the earth straight towards Karna.

--- End quote ---

The blast should've ate Karna alive and left nothing but dust, but such was not the case. Faster than the eye could catch, Karna's spear had been thrown into the air, his hands now cradling his treasured bow, Vijaya, cocking a weird, dagger-like arrow in a light-purple color. Aiming towards the approaching beam, a single word slipped from his lips, in a gentle whisper.

"Mohini."

The arrow surged into the beam, instantly nullifying it completely, before crashing into the ground. An invisible, sound-less pulse radiated throughout the area, as all magic within a considerable radius of a mile cancelled and was made useless. The magic circle in the ground was left null, the female Magus's shield collapsed and the firebirds, magical phenomena by the troublesome bird of the sun, were blotted out. The few that remained would no longer be an issue, being deprived of their power.

As soon as the Mohini had been fired, Karna grasped the spear spinning in the air, primed it on his bow and fired it without any flaws in his aim towards the now-exposed Magus's midsection.

Umbra of Chaos:
Grigori watched as Karna's arrow nullified not only the beam, but also the circle itself. As her barrier faded and Karna fired his bow at her Grigori began to call upon her magic once again. This was no ordinary magic. Grigori was replicating one of the spells of the Elemental Lord of Wind. A being who embodied hurricanes, gusts of wind, and lightning. Grigori raised her stump and began to draw upon her reserves to power the spell.

"Let the judgment of the heavens fall."

An enormous bolt of lightning fell from the sky aimed at Karna, and the sound of thunder was loud enough to shatter eardrums. It was weaker then the beam, but it was still extremely powerful. Grigori just managed to grin before the lance bisected her, and her top half fell to the ground.

"That's going to be hard to heal."

YOLF:
Uchiten

An alarm sparked inside Uchiten's head as his eyes caught the unusual arrow the warrior had cocked into his bow, for all of a milisecond. Then it was set loose with a brief mystical whisper, and the pulse that followed made his composure vanish as his magic was blown away.

Him and his familiars were falling back through the air, presences exposed and weight no longer supported by anything.

"What the heeeeeeeell???" Homura cried as she waved her arms, put off by the sudden fall.

With an accompanying groan, the larger of the two onis tumbled through the air towards the floor. Zan, on the other hand, righted himself after less than an instant, and directed his fall to the rooftop below them. Uchiten allowed himself to fall back facing the sky as he processed what had just happened... and soon began to laugh heartily.

The sword wielding oni was the first to land, hitting a rooftop much closer to ground level in a slight crouch that cracked the building beneath him. Shi followed, outright breaking the roof in a spiderweb pattern around him as he touched down on a low crouch using his closed fists for support. Steadily floating after slowing herself with her magic, Homura came down with barely a sound. The kitsune started dusting imaginary dust off her clothes while mopishly grumbling under her breath. Immediately after she regained her poise, she was startled by the falling of lighting on the battlefield and looked on in awe. Shi too, was watching again.

Only Zan uncharacteristically paid no attention to it and looked up.

Uchiten was still falling, hanging upside down and focusing on the fight with a grin on his face. When he approached his familiars, he suddenly slowed and turned himself around to a standing position, gracefully touching on the concrete of the building with his shoes. Before any of the shikigami could say or do anything else, his arms came up, and he began to clap at the two engaged in combat.

"Magnificent! I was not expecting to see a technique like that. This fight is proving great! Please, show me more proofs of your power!" he exclaimed loudly.

Homura looked on for a moment, and then spoke out to no one in particular, a tone similar to a complaint finding its way into her throat.

"Uchi-sama is starting to get excited again..."

Shi tilted his head at her. Zan simply smirked sharply in reply.
