Without warning s hoard of insects swarmed around the Firebird.

"That is rather rude child" Zolgen Makiri spoke with his hand raised, "You should not run away from people who just want to talk."

Swinging his hand to the side whips of water wrapped around the legs of the man who was trying to flee. "Now please just stay there for a moment and let my friend here speak." Zolgen smirked, "after all it is only polite."

Kat:

--- Quote ---Ash shrugged and said, "Drinking blood isn't that bad, but you have to take it from the living.  No Friendly Neighborhood Bloodbanks for you.  However, it's pretty easy to get a bite when you get the hang of it."

"Right now though, we might have to pay for it."
--- End quote ---

Pay for it, what do you mean? Ellen was puzzled at Ash's remark. Ash clearly told blood banks are not an option, and that she had to drink the blood of living. The fledging hoped she would not have to kill people, as in some tales, unlife would unbearable for her otherwise.

--- Quote ---"The process actually requires little energy, so long as one can perform the necessary calculation, operations on dimensions higher than the sixth require a mental toll instead of a physical one, however having as you have already passed through once it should be much easier if you wish to attempt it on your own;"

Minato takes another sip of his tea.

"I apologize if it sounds a bit off, it is the kind of thing that would be easier to explain in mathematical form, that being said, if you wish I could teach you what I know, there is no reason for me not to, I can tell you aren't exactly evil."

Minato sets his cup down and looks over at Jojo,

"I can tell you are new here so why don't you tell me what you have figured out and I will fill in the rest."
--- End quote ---

I see, if you can teach it, it means it is neither a device or unique ability. My boss has unique ability to make two parallel dimensions coexist with one another, or even hop into one of them. He tried to create device that could simulate it, and it was a botch, you see. I ended up somewhere which is not clearly my destination, and I have no way out without necessary know how how to reconstruct it. I am screwed, pretty much

Elf:
Forest blinked as the girl just crumbled upon the pavement.  Her even and light breathing signaled that she was asleep on the ground.  Blinking, the vampire holstered her gun back and proceeded to shake the rancid spaghetti off of her.

"I wasn't expecting that to happen," she said frowning.

She knew she was more than "Above average" when it came to telepathic abilities, especially for other vampires, but she really hadn't put that much push into the command.  Unless they broke her mind so . . . Forest gritted her teeth and sighed.  Poor thing is from another world/universe thing.  I can't go running in and punching in heads.  Goddamn it.

******

Ash smirked and said, "Prostitutes love.  Pay one enough money and they'll do anything."

Gabriel smiled at La Folia's boldness at his proclaim.  She did have a spike of something arcane around her, but he pushed the thought for later as she moved closer to him.  Those turquoise eyes met his and he smirked before she leaned up and kissed him.

He was first surprised how soft her lips were and thankful for the lack of any cosmetic on them.  Then he leaned into it, sweeping his mouth against hers.  His tongue prodded her lips, demanding entrance as he wrapped one arm around her while the other went to her thigh.  His nimble fingers edged up her skirt before sliding downward to her panties.

Luckily, his body and coat was large enough to shield his decedent movements from any onlookers.  Yet the idea that they could be seen put him on edge.  He felt his own need start to harden and rise, demanding him.  He tightened his control while rubbing damp silk, pressing gently to the slit there, inwardly smirking to himself.

Lycodrake:
Lycodrake Aptera
Wandering - Nexus Subway

Lycodrake had never encountered humans that reacted to his presence immediately by fleeing and shouts of fear. After the first dozen reactions of fear, he had kept to alleyways and dashing between shadows. He had never seen a city with buildings reaching for the heavens like the ones he was seeing now. New surroundings did not make him happy. His introduction to this strange place had not been a welcome one and continued in that vein.

‘There are so many high places and none of them at a height I’m comfortable with using to scope out the area. Humans aren’t acting normally, but this place is definitely not my type of normal either. What is Eris playing at, if this is her doing at all? Golden apples don’t just appear out of nowhere unless she’s involved.’

Quite frankly, he felt overwhelmed and really, really needed explanations as to where he was. The humans he had encountered thus far certainly weren’t willing to stop and chat and he wasn’t even taller than them in his non-gigant size.

‘Okay, priorities list right now. First, find out where I am. Second, find a place to rest safely and get some food and-or water. Third, avoid freaking out if I need to stay in a high place - stay at the center if possible. I can tell there’s a sewer system. If I must, I can find a safe place underground there or…wait what’s that?’

His inner monologue was cut short by seeing stair steps leading down into the earth. Just the knowledge that he could go underground, where he felt - generally - most secure, eased his worries. Muscles relaxed and his posture changed, light footsteps switching to plodding down the steps.

‘This will be much better than sewers,’ he stopped himself, ‘…hopefully.’

His descent was met with a smaller number of humans, though they react similarly to those above ground.

Law collapsed unceremoniously onto his face as the wizard - there was no question what these pair were now - entangled his legs with water.

10/10 score on that dive there.

'Shut up.'

"What the hell do you want with me?"

Law considered using his gun, but that'd be a bit of a waste all things considered.
