Mooncake:

--- Quote from: Knick on May 27, 2014, 02:06:43 AM ---"Now now, was that aggression truly necessary? I mean, defending a murderer? Are we truly the foul ones here?"
--- End quote ---

--- Quote from: Umbra of Chaos on May 27, 2014, 02:25:09 AM ---"I was not planning on killing him warrior. I simply wished to ask a few questions."

Hakumen's grip on his massive sword, the Nox Nyctores Ōkami, tightened.

"Be silent. The words of the evil and the damned will not linger in my ears."

With that single sentence the giant had dispelled any notion of listening to his opponents. There would be time to hunt the brown-haired man later if he had truly murdered another, innocent man. As it stood, Hakumen moved in front of the man, sword still pointed straight at the two mages with its' blade parallel to the ground. The aura of power that surrounded him intensified, crushing the surroundings with the very presence of Hakumen. He addressed the man behind him only as an afterthought.

"You are free to leave, if you can."

Arch-Magos Winter:
The night, was for Lawrence, getting towards the sort of threshold of weird that he could take. Rather ungracefully, he skittered to his feet, desperately moving to the car as fast as he could.

Bah. He spoiled the fun.

'You think me facing down two wizards, one of whom seems severely pissed off at you, is FUN?!?!?!?!?!'

Of course it is. The more blood shed the better for us.

Law slammed the door on the Firebird shut, starting the engine after fumbling with the keys. Now he had to just get out of here before someone scratched his damn car.

Knick:

--- Quote from: Kurogami on May 27, 2014, 01:04:58 AM ---"The process actually requires little energy, so long as one can perform the necessary calculation, operations on dimensions higher than the sixth require a mental toll instead of a physical one, however having as you have already passed through once it should be much easier if you wish to attempt it on your own;"

Minato takes another sip of his tea.

"I apologize if it sounds a bit off, it is the kind of thing that would be easier to explain in mathematical form, that being said, if you wish I could teach you what I know, there is no reason for me not to, I can tell you aren't exactly evil."
--- End quote ---

‘What that…’ Tokiomi was flabbergasted, ‘he is willing to part with the secrets of his magecraft so simply? It’s a trap, it got to be a trap, no mage would reveal their secrets’ Tokiomi watched as Minato waited expecting an answer. ‘No. A not a trap, does not seem like the kind. A test then? Is he testing me to see if I am a good person?’ Tokiomi took another sip of his tea, making no sign of his inner turmoil display on his face or body. ‘Not worth it, even if he is willing, should he be testing me the risk is too great.’

Tokiomi smiled, “Thank you for the offer, but I simply do not have the time to learn another spell, especially one which would require as much knowledge as your apparently does.” Taking another sip simply began to enjoying the tea to the fullest, giving Minato the time to answer Jojo’s questions.

YOLF:
Fate Averruncus

Fate did not show it, but he was thankful Gilgamesh had found his initial wording agreeable enough to be amused and approvingly allow him to continue.

--- Quote from: Mooncake on May 27, 2014, 02:53:05 AM ---The silence continued, only broken by a short laugh from the Golden King.

"It is true, Homunculus, that with such a thing I would have no need to punish the unworthy. And yet," He shifted the phone as he surveyed the city once more, noting the events below.

"...No matter. You may depend upon the necessary funds and supplies being sent to you upon request."

The King's crimson eyes narrowed.

"Do not abuse this privilege, Homunculus. If your group performs well, there will be an increase as needed."
--- End quote ---

He was more thankful for the king's positive decision. Already his mind had started to plan how to use such resources in a large and efficient scale based on the excellent prospect of the man's response. Before that, however, he returned his gratefulness to Gilgamesh in speech, keeping the same professional and respectful tone he had opened this conversation with.

"You have my thanks for your generosity. I assure you I will make good use of it. I shall keep you updated on my progress."

--- Quote from: Mooncake on May 27, 2014, 02:53:05 AM ---The Golden King paused, his eyes focusing straight on a certain area, a ways south from his position. It was marked as the territory of vampires, the parasites, entities that squabbled with them and other such things. He had no need for them in his city.

"Is that all?"

--- End quote ---

"Yes, this is all I sought from this conference. It was a pleasure doing business with you." Fate replied.

Before the call could come to an end, however, as he waited for Gilgamesh to have the final word, he noticed an unknown female voice on the other end of the line before he heard... a push?

Zolgen sighed, hardheaded ones always annoyed him the most. "I will leave you to this Grigori, my magecraft is not suited for combat, especially one as powerful as him."

And with that his form began fell apart, with the insects making it up scattering.

"I will meet again with you some other time, my new friend. Perhaps we can discuss theory."

And with that he was gone.

------------------------------------------------------------------------------

Zolgen's eyes open in his workshop once again.

'Well, that was aggravating, and I had found such an interesting specimen'.

Closing his eyes again he gained the senses of one of the familiars he planted in the man's car.

"Oh well, I can always meet with him again soon." He chuckled as he opened his eyes once more to observe the breeding pit in front of him.

"Yes, yes, very interesting indeed."
