"So where do you plan to go, then, if you are foreign to this city too?" Rattus asked him. "By the looks of it, you have nowhere to go because if you have one, you won't be walking around in such a weak state. At least I and my companion here have our home transported to this city. We also have a private mean of transportation too. We have enough money to last us a lifetime and we are speaking as immortals in this context. Yes, I am sounding off as an arrogant and ostentatious person here. You might not want what I offer to you but, whether you admit it or not, you will need it." He momentarily paused. "You say you are busy, but you have nowhere to go. What you said is a paradox. But I won't force you anymore. For us to preserve you is your gain, for us to not to is your loss." He then turned his back on him and started walking away. He then said to the green-haired lady, "Let's go, Yukina. We can't help those people who don't help themselves."

She then walked towards him a bit and then said to the man in red with a raised voice, "Goodbye, stranger! I hope you will always be safe, alright?!"
To Ragna, the man never stopped talking, but also had a point.

It really grinded him into the ground to do this, but... Well, he was in a strange place with strange people, and he wasn't at the top of his game. He had to have some sort of backup plan.

"Wait," he said loudly, turning around. "I'm not saying I need help right now. Because I don't! But... say I did, where could I find you?"

"Be silent. The words of the evil and the damned will not linger in my ears."

"Well, if that is your stance I suppose we have nothing more to about."

Grigori raised her hand, and a ball of purple light formed in her palm. The orb of manabegan to grow and grow until it was larger than the warrior himself, and then it was fired faster than a bullet. With enough force to destroy this entire alley, Grigori was sure it would keep the warrior off her heels.

"Farewell warrior! I wish you luck.!"

With that said the sorcerer calmly walked straight through the tear. The moment she made it to the other side she her fist and the tears closed.

"Well, that was rather boring. There must be something else to do."

Then Grigori remembered the hunter. Its anti magic ability was interesting. The Grigori felt it. A disturbance in the mana in the air. Emptiness where mana once was. "Found you~" Grigori raised her hand and reality tore beneath again. On the other side she could see the hunter. No, not a hunter. A child. Near her were two men and a woman. One man had reddish-brown hair and gold eyes, the other was much more plain. He had brown hair and black eyes, and the female looked young. Blond hair and... indigo eyes? Interesting color. Then Grigori looked back at the child. Black hair and blue eyes. She also wore armor.

"This is the hunter? A child? I must applaud the indoctrination preformed by her caretakers. I have not seen such zealotry since the last crusade! So many interesting people in this city."

Grigori stepped through the tear and appeared near the hunter. Grigori clenched her fist and the tear closed. "Greetings. My name is Grigori. Would anyone here be willing to name themselves?"

Forest gestured at the sleeping girl and said, "All I did was give her a telepathic suggestion to stop.  Apparently whatever brainwashed her really worked her over good."  A scowl marred her pretty face as she knelt beside the girl.

She watched as the bespectacled man, who's scent betrayed something "off" about him start to move the sleeping girl to safety.  She watched as he took her vitals and said, "She's just asleep I'd . . . well . . ."  The blond gestured awkwardly.

"Where is this 'Wal-Mart' you spoke of?" the redhead asked.

Forest just stared at him.  What a colossal wanker.

"Are you kidding me? You don't know what Wal-Mart is?" the man with the glasses asked incredulity asked the ignorant man as he finally set the armored girl onto the bench, "Alright. Wait a minute. Are any of you guys from here or are you like me who found themselves here just out of nowhere?"

Forest shook her head and said, "I don't think anyone is from Nexus City.  People are just brought here, like this unfeeling bloke here."  She gestured to the redhead.

Gabriel gently sucked on her earlobe as he felt the tiny nub retreat as La Folia gripped him harder, her body arching prettily towards him.   He smirked and doubled his efforts, adding more speed and less pressure.  He was rubbing with two fingers now, leaving nothing untouched.

He leaned forward and whispered, "Come for me, Folly."

Ash said, "Actually, no one knows your dead.  The wanker who shived you on the other hand . . .  The Coppers picked up his body this morning."

She shrugged, "I needed something to eat after turning you.  So, yeah, you could actually go back living your old life and your old identity for maybe a decade until people notice you're not aging.  Meaning you have full access to your account and whatnot, but as your semi-responsible sire I'll treat you this first time."

Much to the surprise of the two of them, the man asked for where to find the manor in time of need. Yukina was taken aback by this and Rattus stopped walking towards his car.

"Um, um..." Yukina stumbled on her words. "It is near the Nexus City Cola billboard, where the minotaur is selling hotdog sandwiches, amongst other big houses and near the shops. It is a big house made of brick with a wooden storehouse and a garage..." She then exhaled as if she was helpless. "...I am sorry, stranger. We do not know the address to our house right now. I guess it cannot be helped."

Rattus then suddenly interjected. "You'll know it when you see it, young man." He then turned around and said, "I suggest that you ride home with us so that you will know what it looks like. I suggest that you kindly accept this offer. Now, would you?"

La Folia was honestly stunned how every single time she thought it couldn't get better it did. Gabriel was playing her like a piano, and she absolutely loved it. Her cries of pleasure must have surely woken up the entire neighborhood by now, but she did not care.

He leaned forward and whispered, "Come for me, Folly."

As the beautiful man before her brought orgasmic pleasure to her neglected slit whispering sweet seductive lines in her ear, something inside La Folia finally reached a peak as she came on his fingers, loudly moaning, almost screaming, far into the night, covering his fingers with a thick sheen of her juices. Only her grabbing firmly onto his back, manicured fingernails digging into his skin through his clothing, kept her from merely falling over on the spot, as she leaned forward onto him, using his shoulder as a headrest. For a few minutes, she could do naught but breathe and moan in his ear, no doubt simply enticing him even more as she recovered from easily the best orgasm in her life.

She had only barely recovered her bearings when she, right next to his beautiful, pointy ears, began to seductively whisper.

"You shouldn't give cute nicknames to girls you barely know. But I'll forgive you this time"

She wanted to bait him, to bring his withheld desires, neglected to fulfill her own, to a boil. Truly she was not quite as confident as her wording would imply, but god would she not mind if he simply bend her over the car this instant and did her until the sun came up.

No scratch that, she wasn't even as confident as her own thought process would imply, but she had come too far to not simply lose herself in it entirely.

"We are not done yet, Gabriel" whispered the marble-haired princess into the ear of the undoubtedly highly aroused man she leaned into.

A single hand of hers went to her hip as she slowly and teasingly began lowering her underwear to just above her knees, her flower still concealed by her skirt.

It was now his move.

The resident's eyes wandered, even as his ears confirmed that the girl's heart still beat. It seemed that he would not be leaving soon, so he paid less attention to the dealings of the others present, focusing on a small, withering dandelion that had grown from a crack in the sidewalk.

The resident glanced over at the brown haired man, barely acknowledging his response.

"No, I am not from this place. It is dirty, polluted, and infested with humans," Turning his head to study the dandelion, the resident wandered over to it and gently picked the dying plant from it's place on the sidewalk. "I would have left if it were possible."

"I don't think anyone is from Nexus City.  People are just brought here, like this unfeeling bloke here."  She gestured to the redhead.

The resident slowly turned back to face the pale woman.

"I am capable of feeling emotions."

He showed them the small, dying dandelion, delicately holding it in his hand.

"I simply feel more for this flower than I do for any being in this city."

"Telepathy? Must've been really convenient for you these days," Henry remarked lightly with a slight smirk before grimacing back at the comatose body.

Taking another look at the girl, she had a rather lovely face while drifting in dark unconsciousness. To think someone would actually put her up for such grisly work, it is awfully tasteless. But sadly this practice is rather common even today. Not much has really changed after all these centuries. Different backgrounds and rules, but the same people every time.

She watched as he took her vitals and said, "She's just asleep I'd . . . well . . ."  The blond gestured awkwardly.

Again his brow raised quizzically at her. As if signaling for her to actually complete the sentence, instead of just leaving it hanging like an annoying cliffhanger.

"Well what? I can't read your mind like you can, you know."

To accentuate what he meant, Henry pointed at his skull with his index finger.

Quote

"So he's not human. I'm not surprised," Henry thought to himself,  "But what the hell is someone like this doing here?"

Quote
Forest shook her head and said, "I don't think anyone is from Nexus City.  People are just brought here, like this unfeeling bloke here."

Henry sighed as he re-adjusted his spectacles. The moonlight from above caused a glossy reflection that concealed the features of his eyes.

"It's great to know I'm not the only one," he finally muttered before looking upon the redhead who would retort against Forest's statement.

Quote
"I am capable of feeling emotions."

He showed them the small, dying dandelion, delicately holding it in his hand.

"I simply feel more for this flower than I do for any being in this city."

Henry agreed with an amused smile, "And you might be right about that. Most people hate weeds on their precious gardens."

Whoever this guy is, he didn't seem to serve as any obvious threat to anyone. At least for now. But he certainly is the kind of guy to keep an eye on for some interesting developments. There's no way anyone with that much power would be able to live normally around here after all.

Right out of nowhere, Henry felt a new presence appear under his senses that caused him to widen his eyes. Jerking back his head, he saw the appearance of a woman just leaving what seems to be a portal before dismissing it with a clenched hand as if to sew it back to plain reality.

She was tall, even by average standards for females in today's modern world. In fact she was even taller than he, the tallest of the three surrounding the unconscious assassin. Perhaps she may even be considered a stunning Amazonian given the air around her. But at the same time, her gait was by far elegant than most women he had ever seen from.

Henry had to blink a couple of times. Out from nowhere a bombshell simply arrived in this lonely area. But what prevented him from ogling her appearance was she felt really off. Her very existence felt relatively empty compared to everything around.

A male Russian name. How peculiar to be named while obviously being a female.

"Henry," the doctor answered first after the introduction, "What brings you here, Ms. Grigori?"

"Well, if that is your stance I suppose we have nothing more to about."

A bullet of purple energy shot straight towards the white giant, containing enough power to destroy the entire alley - but the blade of Hakumen would not be turned aside. The warrior rose to meet it in a devastatingly fast movement, his sword shearing through the pavement of the street to cut straight through the foul magic of the false god.

As soon as Ōkami touched the orb, it created a vacuum sphere - Fumajin - as large as Hakumen himself, that pulled the magic bullet straight into it's embrace and nullified it completely. The blade of Hakumen had cleaved straight through Grigori's magic with no resistance at all. As the sealing sphere dissipated, the white giant was hot on the sorceress's heels.

"Farewell warrior! I wish you luck!"

"You-! Halt!"

Even as the giant warrior unleashed a powerful strike, the sorceress tore yet another hole in reality that closed just as his blade reached it. Growling in disgust, Hakumen resheathed his sword, the mechanism built into the sheathe making it much easier. Turning to leave, he noticed the man that had not finished getting away trying in vain to start his car. The warrior made his way over to the side of the car and put his hand atop the roof, bending down to the man inside.

"I require a ride. I would be obliged if you would give it to me."

Even though it held a ring of truth, Hakumen was more interested in the man in the car instead of a ride itself. The two before had spoken of him as a murderer, and though the white giant made a point of not trusting the words of evil, a body dead from a gunshot wound was somewhat incriminating. The massive warrior was level to Law, his eyeless mask looking straight at the black-haired man.

Darkness was filling Songbird's vision once again. Sleep was calling for him.

However, a massive wave of negative energy washed over the man-bird, instantly perking up his senses and setting him on edge. Adrenaline, Endorphins, and a slew of other biological chemicals started to pump through his body, their production in overdrive. Whatever is producing this is a significant threat, one f which that Songbird didn't feel that he could simply hide from. If he was to survive, he must go on the offensive; must do a preemptive strike. Only afterwards will he feel safe enough to rest. The yellow lens over both of his eyes were swapped with a red pair.

It still hurt when the guardian slid himself up to a standing position, using the wall as a support. He nearly collapsed when he took his first tentative step, his left leg nearly buckling under him. But the pain was fleeting. It was an odd experience, to feel the damage of your body without feeling any actual pain. Once out in the street proper, he started to flap his wings. A slight twinge of pain, still, but ignorable. The source of the negative energy was close by, a swift attack would suffice in snuffing the enemy.

There!

He could see a group of people, one of which was a woman with black hair who was just oozing the maligned energy. Screeching, Songbird slammed himself down to the ground right behind his target. The man-bird's left leg, already nearly broke from his crash earlier, snapped from the impact. But Songbird didn't feel it or cared, focusing only on the attack. He quickly snatched the woman in his right hand before she could react, and promptly smashed her onto the cement.

The massive warrior was level to Law, his eyeless mask looking straight at the black-haired man.

Law wasn't sure at this point how to react. This giant of a man had just taken a massive attack of magical energy and... poof. It was gone. He'd slashed through it with that massive two handed sword, like it was nothing - and had made it nothing. That, no matter how you looked at it, was something to be afraid of. Plus, he was interested in him. Because he'd killed a man. And this guy was some sort of crazy strong sense of justice, with a sword as long as he was tall. Son. Of. A. Bitch.

He also couldn't see his face through that mask, which was bone white and creepy as shit.

What are you waiting for? Let him in.

'...'

He can't swing that sword inside the car. It's too large.

'I know that, but he'll still be right next to us. And he's huge.'

So? He'll be inside our range as well. Armor can't stop us...

'Just for the record, you are the worst voice anyone's head to listen to. Ever.'

The driver's gurgling chuckles echoed in Lawrences mind as he rolled down the window. "...Against my fervent desire to get away from here as fast as I can, sure."

Law shoved the .45 into a coat pocket of his, motioning with his head to the passenger side seat. "Put the sword in the back, should fit, at an angle. Try not to scratch the leather, please, this day has been bad enough already."

Tokiomi smiled, “Thank you for the offer, but I simply do not have the time to learn another spell, especially one which would require as much knowledge as your apparently does.” Taking another sip simply began to enjoying the tea to the fullest, giving Minato the time to answer Jojo’s questions.

Minato gave a knowing smile upon hearing tokiomi's response.

"I understand, well the offer is still open if you change your mind."

Minato realized something suddenly.

"Now that I think of it, do either of you have any place to stay?"

"No, I'm good. Near the billboard, minotaur selling hot dogs, wooden storehouse and garage, know it when I see it, blah blah. I'll come bother you if I need anything," Ragna said with a note of finality. "That goes both ways. I got jack shit to do, so bother me if you need anything."

He took a heavy, uncomfortable breath and made to walk away, hoping he wouldn't get another interruption. He had a meal to both find and eat, preferably in peace.

And this time, it looked like he successfully avoided a dine and dashing partner. It had to happen eventually.

Karna had wandered the streets for almost a full hour by now, ignoring the various phenomena he had noticed like the conflict on the tower he had been sitting on and night turning to day for a few seconds. Until now, he had simply walked around the city's "Entertainment District", bearing witness to all of the wonderful people who roamed the streets, having fun, spending time with their loved ones.

His face did not show it one bit, but such things brought him great joy. It was why he tried so hard to help and keep happy the denizens of his Kingdom of Anga during his rule of 44 years. For Karna, the superficial beauty of a human's exterior meant little-to-nothing. No, to the Saint of Generosity, who held all humans and their beliefs in equal esteem, what made humans so beautiful to him were their mindsets, their conflicts, their burdens, all that encompassed the true nature of theirs that Karna saw, their inner self.

For that reason, a place where those humans all felt joy in the presence of other humans was a paradise on earth for the Indian hero.

But yet, despite being so absorbed with inner joy, Karna had noticed it.

No, them.

Numerous bugs and insects of various kinds, all clearly showing signs of being controlled by a Magus, were everywhere in the city, and the Entertainment District was no different. They were clearly set up for monitoring, not just him, but every man and woman in the city. As a hero, it would be his duty to protect the smiles of those people that brought him such great joy. For that reason, he had to know if the Magus could possibly have malignant intentions.

With the speed of a pouncing cheetah, Karna jumped through the air and caught a prana-laced dragonfly by the tail with the tips of two fingers before it could even react, holding it firmly but not applying any crushing pressure.

His voice stern as a mountain, he spoke.

"Magus. I know you can hear me. I desire to know the purpose of these defiled creatures of nature."

Zolgen sat in his workshop, calming watching the actions of the masked man Hakumen and the one who peeked his interest, his bugs hidden sending information to Zolgen almost constantly.

That was until one of his bugs in the entertainment district was caught by something drawing his attention to it.

"Magus. I know you can hear me. I desire to know the purpose of these defiled creatures of nature."

Zolgen heard him, a voice that brought back memories of the second Holy Grail war. Back before the church was involved and the corruption of the greater grail occurred, back when he still had hope for his old dream. He knew better then to keep the Son of Surya waiting, his power was massive in the second war, it was fortunate his master died the way he did.

Zolgen issued the command to his familiars the second time for the day. His form was constructed once again as it was earlier, this time in front of the son of the sun.

He then spoke, “What do I owe the pleasure of your attention, oh Karna, Son of Surya?”
