Tom and Hakuno

Quote from: Wynn
Wynn nodded, idly brushing off her suit.  She said, "Yes.  It is one of her downfalls that she has this annoying need to help the less fortunate.  It's quite vexing really.  There are better ways to spend her time."
Tom tilted his head. "Perhaps it is some sort of compulsion?"
Hakuno frowned, but stayed silent.
Quote
Then she turned to the young girl and said, "Little Mouse, you have been very fortunate tonight.  Either one of us could have ended your measly existence with a flick of our fingers, but we have decided to be generous and, in my case, severely inconvenience someone quite dear to me.  You owe your bit of gratitude to Lady Umbra."
Hakuno gave a polite bow, but couldn't quite get herself to stop frowning. Certainly, she didn't have much fondness for these two thus far, though so far Lady Wynn was making the worse impression.
Quote
She gestured with a smile, "After you, Mister Hale."

She gave the Little Mouse one last look and said, "Do try to keep up."
Hakuno didn't say anything, knowing full well that speaking while she was irritated like this might very well lead to her death. She watched as Tom nodded in response and got closer to the edge of the building. He looked out at the complex.

"It would be far faster if we flew, I think, even if the building isn't too far away. I can carry all three of us over there quite easily, though our metallic avian friend might pose a bit of a nuisance..." He turned to Wynn. "Lady Umbra, do you know of another entrance? I could deal with the sentry easily, but I would rather not waste my energy moving aside pointless obstacles. If not, literally tossing the creature aside should be simple enough."

Zolgen smirked, “why shouldn’t you try and kill me? Well mainly because this is simply a construct, it would be a waste of effort.”

He chuckled a bit before continuing, “As for how I know about the Grail War and Servants? Well, it is because I helped create the grail itself, and it was I who created the system which summoned heroic spirits as servants and bound them to a master.”

His smirk dropped and he looked at Law, “Truly though, you were simply a passing interest with your odd spiritual presence. But imagine my surprise when you summoned a servant, especially since there is no grail functioning in this city.”

“Now boy, would you lower your weapon? You as well servant of the sword, the hostility is unneeded. I wish no harm upon your master, only answers. It has been a long time since my interest has been peaked like this."

Forest gritted her teeth and said, "Just because I have the ability to wipe away that indoctrinating doesn't mean I will.  You are 'misreading' things, Karna.  This girl was brainwashed by some other party to think that magic was evil and so on and so forth.  It's not.  It's just a tool, like a knife or a gun.  Dangerous in the wrong hands, but bloody useful in the right ones.  So before you go be a giant git, pay better attention to 'reading' people."

She gritted her teeth and then added, "And the Morrigan could so kick your ass."

******

Frost glared at Kyle and said, "And you're a fucking mutt who's going to be put down."

Ash ignored the prattling prat and then looked at Kyle.  She said, "I do not want to get Forest involved with them.  She would try to stop them and get killed horribly or worse in the process.  Smartest thing would for me to go on damage control and get Ellen here to Forest, kiddo.  So just do it."

******

Gabriel teased his nipples as he could thrust deeper within her at this angle.  He kissed La Folia's throat before lightly nipping it.  His glow intensified as he watched her stroke herself in time to their thrusts, her cute cries echoing through out the bathroom.

******

"If that was all just a misunderstanding, then I accept your apology," the sweet, young female voice said as Lancer finally found them.  There was a girl with dark hair and simple clothing holding a book, some blond punk he had the urge to punt half way across the park, and a delicate young woman in some sort of tiny chariot.

She held out her hand to the blond man, a pretty smile on her face.

Lancer, on the other hand, was fixated on the tiny chariot.  They had these scooter things that severely fat people drove around on at the Wal-Mart where he worked, but he'd never seen anything like this.  It looked like the chariot would be propelled by hand and he wondered how fast he could make it go if he was riding one.

******

Wynn smirked at Thomas' questions and said, "Yes, I do have an alternate way in.  Do stand close to me, I do not want you getting lost.  Especially you Little Mouse."

She then enveloped them into her Shadows, surrounding them in blues, grays, violets, and black.  Glowing hands were lifted as she seemingly pulled on something and drug them.  They didn't have to move, Wynn sort of pulled them along as if she was pulling on a cord.  Within moments she "pushed" back the darkness, as if it was a curtain.

The three of them were standing in the fourth floor of the strong hold with Forest, a rather interesting white haired man with a bird on its head, some man with glasses, and a girl who made Wynn's nose curl.  Forest rubbed her forehead at the sight of them, and Wynn sighed, noting her haggard condition.  The Faerie strode forward and glared at the three interlopers and said, "What have you been doing with what is mine?  Look at her.  One of you have obviously upset her and are inconveniencing her.  Not to mention taking serious advantage of her ridiculously good nature."

Forest groaned and said, "Bloody hell."

Wynn ignored the protest and wrapped herself around the slim, blond vampire and inhaled her scent.  She was almost instantly intoxicated by the combination of lavender, leather, oranges, and gun oil.  "Do I need to remind you of your limits?" Wynn asked as she rested her head on Forest's shoulder with a sigh.

The wolf paced back in forth. It smelled something new now. Something magical. It growled, a low rumble of a sound. So much food. All around. Soft. Easy to catch, easy to eat. So much food. The other predator was a threat, but it was the only one.

The wolf was hungry. And the wolf was still in this cage. So, it did something to try and escape.

The room shook as 800 pounds of canine slammed into the door, again and again. The wards were still holding, but they didn't do anything to stop the noise echoing through the compound.

Tom and Hakuno

Neither of the pair got a chance to respond before they were pulled into some strange dimension, surrounded by a shifting void of shadowy colors. While both were initially startled, neither was particularly frightened. Both had seen and experienced worse. Much worse.

The strange shadow world dissipated, and before them stood a crowd of people, seemingly arguing, while ominous banging and howling emanated from elsewhere, sending a shiver down Hakuno's spine. Hakuno felt a shock of recognition as her eyes wandered onto Karna... who apparently had some sort of cute, magical bird on his head? If she weren't thrown off guard by the newness of everything and how quickly things had changed, she would have had to suppress a giggle.

They watched in awkward silence as Wynn made her proclamation, Law Unto Herself made her exasperated protest, and the fae rested her head upon the vampire's shoulder. Hakuno looked down at the floor, embarrassed. She almost jumped at the sound of Tom clearing his throat.

Henry found his efforts to keep things smooth were ineffective. Tensions are still rising. All it took was some words from the demi-god to get the vampire started. He looked back at Amelia who simply sat in her bed just taking in everything that's happening around her. The poor girl, having to be the spectator of something like this.

But he suddenly felt a new presence come into the room. Something that was coming. Henry sat up and glared at the appearance of a Grigori-like woman arrive with two others in tow. The girl being a human and the other being a strange anomaly.

"What have you been doing with what is mine?  Look at her!" she glared at them, "One of you have obviously upset her and are inconveniencing her.  Not to mention taking serious advantage of her ridiculously good nature."

"I can definitely assure you that I'm neither," Henry returned dryly. Definitely not amused that there would be new visitors. It meant possible more drama. Something that the vampire seemed to agree with him.

Forest groaned and said, "Bloody hell."

But this fairy was quick to embrace her vampire friend to worry about her complaints.

"Do I need to remind you of your limits?" Wynn asked as she rested her head on Forest's shoulder with a sigh.

He looked back at the fairy and then back at the two again. They didn't seem to be here to cause any trouble. At least not actively.

"Is this your fairy friend I heard about, Forest?" Henry asked the annoyed blonde.

Rin and Mille

Quote from: Tokiomi
Tokiomi chuckled at her reaction and smiled warmly. “Why would I not say such a thing? It is only proper to speak the truth. Especially such an obvious one, I would assume you hear something similar all the time.”
Mille blushed even harder than before. "T-thank you then. I-I appreciate it, sir." She bowed hastily, somewhat flustered. Rin reacted surprisingly little to this. Her thoughts were almost entirely on the possibility that her own father stood before her...
Quote
Tokiomi chuckled lightly, “And here I was trying to cause as little confusion as possible by leaving out my family name. Yes, I am a member of the Tohsaka family.”

He looks at Rin with a smile, “So I assume so variant of me exists in your world seeing how you are familiar with my name?”
So then... i-it's true. Her poker face was slipping, but she barely managed to hold it together. The fact that she could keep it up, let alone keep from freaking out, felt like an accomplishment to her. She nodded in response to his question. She was about to elaborate, but noticed the concern on his face, likely some of the implications of what was said earlier dawning on him, and hesitated.
Quote
Shaking his head slightly, he cleared his thoughts and focused on the matter at hand. “No, not the time. I apologize, I let my idle curiosity overtake me for a moment.”
Rin responded with a somewhat strained smile. "It's quite fine. I'd likely be curious as well in your position."

Mille just stood there, silently, watching the back and forth. Even she grasped the tenseness there, the feeling as if there was something far deeper to this, far more important, than she could quite grasp in it's entirety. At least, without full knowledge of what was driving it all. Though then, she had a few suspicions of her own...

Tokiomi walked over to his desk. His family crest surged with light as his hand touched its wooden surface, a drawer popping open. From it he withdrew a blade. One that caught Rin's eye the moment she got clear view of it.
Quote
“Since you are a member of the Tohsaka, assuming our worlds do not vary that greatly, you should recognize this correct? The project left behind by the great master, I attempted to replicate it and failed. Perhaps this is what caused your dimensional rift?”
Her eyes unable to leave the blade, Rin nodded. "I do recognize this blade. Completely. It's the Jeweled Sword. Its blueprints are my birthright, as is the task of recreating it."

Quote from: Frost
And you're a fucking mutt who's going to be put down.

Kyle wasn't in the mood to argue with a piece of shit like Deacon Frost.

"Really? Wouldn't that be beneath someone of your caliber?"

More concerned about Ash, he turned to her. She was right about the psychic though, Forest would most likely rush to help her pupil if she knew her to be in danger. He didn't even bother hiding his disappointment when he spoke.

"Getting yourself killed isn't all that much preferable as far as I'm concerned but, fine. I'll deliver your girl to her place. What do you expect me to tell Forest? Because she will ask questions. I don't mind hiding things but, I would rather not have to lie to her." He wasn't so sure about the Iron Maiden going damage control though. "Keep me in touch on this. I'll come and back you up if need be."

"There's some... details I'd rather not share, but to put it in an understandable manner, me and my sister are mages in a family that has been so for over 250 years, and we belong to a larger union of mages called the "Yggdmillenia". We were flying to another country to compete in something called the "Holy Grail War", a murderous ritual between seven mages and seven heroes summoned by them from the distance past for the Holy Grail in question, a magical artifact that can supposedly grant any wish. Somehow, during our flight there, me and supposedly my sister as well ended up in this oddity of a city."

The Knight started grimacing upon hearing that, but, once again, his face guard covered the expression.

"Since this is a...'War,' is it safe for me to assume that you will have to kill the others for this wish?" He asked while continuing to walk.

Dread Hunter Amelia and Phoenix

Amelia froze as the woman came out of the shadows. The use of magic was obvious, from her seat on the bed she began to back up red lightning dancing off her body. But she was unable to focus it any further because of the panic.

Feeling her panic reach its breaking point Phoenix spread its wing and glided to her. The antimagic wave purged all mana around Phoenix; however it caused nothing more than a tickle to the sunbird.

Landing in front of her it looked up, drawing her attention to it. Then without warning it hopped onto her legs before letting off light warmth. Amelia looked at it in shock, “what…”, then she felt it.

Her panic began to ebb away and her mind calmed. It was safe here, she could tell that, the warmth was soft, and it would protect her. The phoenix was like the sun, its warmth is the sun warmth, and so Amelia’s conditioning, to hunt during the night, faded. She began to giggle, relaxed and happy laughter leaving her mouth. Then she gently placed her hand on the bird before petting it.

Phoenix was happy; the friends were happy and were warm. That is all that mattered. And so it cuddled with the tingly friend happy to bring her warmth.

Amelia Tanner

Amelia looked on as the adorable girl forgave the punk who was just talking shit to her. Her heart sored at the sight. So cute, so kind, she was a perfect package. She just wanted to take her home. She was about to run over to her and give her a hug before the man dropped down close to her.

“Well, this is a rather good view” she mumbled while checking out the new arrival, the way he was staring at the wheelchair was kinda bizarre though. Honestly this day is getting better and better. It could only improve if she could find a good dream to make a child out of. Honestly these people had interesting dreams, but none that where impossible enough for her liking.

"The girl made a deliberate choice to become what she is, Forest. If you hold that against her and want to change her for that, I will stop you with all my might."

No hostility displayed itself in his voice quite yet, but Karna was entirely serious in his words. If it would save the girl, Karna would torch the entire building to the ground.

She gritted her teeth and then added, "And the Morrigan could so kick your ass."

"I am afraid I find your threats empty, Forest. It would not be the first time I have killed gods in the act of protecting another". Now positioned between the girl who was playing happily with the firebird that previously sat in his hair and Forest, Karna took a lazy combat stance. Forest would know as well as he that she would not last even ten seconds against the radiant son of the sun.

Taking no note of Henry for now, Karna laid eyes upon the newcomers. Despite appearances, it seemed the one that radiated an imperial majesty was also quite powerful, though he doubted it would even the odds. The youth with a hair color much like his own was likewise a powerful combatant from just a simple glance.

Of course, powerful did not cut it when they would face the might of a man who brought down God and Demon alike. He would protect this girl, despite only knowing her for an hour at best, with his very life.

La Folia intensified her backwards thrusts even more, her stamina starting to give out at the great pleasure she experienced. She was about to explode as her tightness was invaded by him again and again.

"Since this is a...'War,' is it safe for me to assume that you will have to kill the others for this wish?" He asked while continuing to walk.

Keeping to the knight's side, he answered in a disheartened voice.

"Unfortunately, yes. It would technically be possible to win the war without killing the other Mages, but it's highly improbable and unsafe. We stacked the odd in our favor by having planned to have three contestants, including my sister and myself, but with Servants involved, I fear not even that would've been enough to secure our victory."

Henry swung his head back at the sound of lightning crackling. Dread filled him as he saw Amelia making her hostilities clear. He had realized that he had somehow forgotten about how this precarious situation could be shattered with her Anti-Magic doctrine the girl tightly held onto. Almost as if by stage direction, the bird flew towards her. He had half-expected the discharge to harm the avian. But it simply landed on her lap and gave off a soft inviting light.

The lightning disappeared upon the girl's newly found curiosity. And soon all of her worries were gone as she felt at ease. This scene put a smile on Henry's face as he looked on. It was something that shouldn't be interrupted at all. Especially between a bellicose pair of a demigod and vampire.

"Both of you, quit it," he hissed at them with his patience waning, "If you want a brawl, do it outside. Away from here."

The Knight had to admit, an unlimited wish would be worth fighting for. However, experience was rearing its head: when something sounded too good to be true, it was.

"How are you sure that there is a wish?" He asked, "How can you be sure that it was worth it in the end?"

Listening to the apology that seemed genuinely earnest despite it's repetitions and pleading, Fiore nodded her head once, and then answered with a smile on her face.

"If that was all just a misunderstanding, then I accept your apology", holding out her gloved hand as a sign of goodwill to make them even.

"Dat's cool." Neo then tapped on the wheelchair-bound woman's palm in the manner of "giving someone the five", instead of the handshake she seemingly intended. "Ain't got no fuckin' beef with you now, 'right?"

"But tell me," he said to her. "How come yo' here all by your damn self? I mean, look at your sexy ass. I'm pretty sure yo' ain't gonna make it here alone, even with your ride. And you have your stuff and shit with you, too. If mah hunch is fucking right, somebody just left you in this shithole, babe. Them all other peepz keep fuckin' tellin' me you're not supposed to leave cripples behind or else something will happen to them and then they'll just croak or somethin'. If people know that shit, then who's the asshole who left ya' here all alone?"

He then noticed that somebody just arrived to observe them, a man with blue hair and a ponytail. He was looking at the brown-haired woman's wheelchair, as if it piqued his curiosity. But Neo also felt as if the man didn't arrive there by accident. Also, he felt an inhuman aura emanating from him. Perhaps, he concluded, this blue-haired man heard the ruckus and came here to either to observe or intervene.

The leather jacket blonde then turned to the black-haired girl and asked, while pointing at the blue-haired man with his thumb. "Hey dyke, you have any fuckin' idea who the shit is this faggot?"

Haruna Mochizuka

Her face immediately turned serious.

"A vampire gang? This is probably what my call was related to. I'm afraid I still don't know much about the city but I'll help in any way I can, just lead the way and I'll follow."
