The vampire's eyes narrowed at Archer's teasing.  She folded her arms around her and retorted, "Or maybe some cosmic wanker is just being far too hopeful and putting way to much into things, or maybe you're the one who wants to admit it."

Lord and Lady, am I flirting?  Yeah, I'm definitely flirting . . . With my luck he'll probably freak out when he finds out that I'm a vampire or whatnot.

She did move over to help him with the mattress.   "At least I can still use this for now."

"Perhaps I do want to admit it." The Servant said, hefting the mattress out of the way of the mess, scavanging the sheets and pillows out of the fragments of wood. "After all I have fallen into your bed already, though I feel that punchline has been used a little too much." Eyeing Forest, Archer let the smile drop. "Really, I think you'd be better off on a real bed, not just the mattress. I don't really need much sleep so go ahead and catch some rest. I'll clean up here."

"I don't need much sleep either," Forest replied.  So, he's obviously not a Joe Normal Mortal.  Good.  Then she shrugged, pushing a lock of hair from her face and said, "And trust me, I've rested in a lot worse than this.  Honestly I was going to go change and beat up a wooden practice dummy until it was annihilated before you decided to drop in."

Then she grinned and said, "As for guys falling into and breaking my bed, I could have done a lot worse."

"The same could be said for you." Archer grinned back, the teasing returning. "There's a lot worse places to land then the bed of a pretty woman."

"Oh, you say that now, but once you got to know me, if you have a bit of sanity, you'd be running right the other way," Forest replied, sinking onto the mattress, curling her long legs under her.

"I left my sanity in the other dimension, just to let you know. Besides, you could in all honesty say the exact same thing about myself. We've all got things we're not too happy about." Archer piled up some of the peices, frowning at the leftover dust. "I'll get a broom and finish cleaning up. Then we can talk and mope about why we'll never find anyone or whatever."

Forest raised her eyebrow at Archer's words.  Because she couldn't read his thoughts, she wasn't sure if he was being mocking or genuine, or maybe some combination of the two.  At his mention of sweeping, she said, "I have a broom in the closet that's a little up the hall and some trash bags too.  Then maybe some mutual brooding won't be a bad thing."

Gabriel watched the exchange with increased interest.  Even without his "sex sense" he could tell, for the first time he could remember, that his godmother was interested in someone that was interested in her. There was chemistry there, definitely, not to mention that both parties were rather repressed.  He sensed that someone had left Archer, much as someone had left his godmother.

"Curiouser and curiouser," he whispered to himself with a smile.

When the tiny shadow appeared it took a slight exertion of will to stop himself from obliterating it.

Which is harder than it would seem given that that may well be the weakest shadow ever; I think you could actually kill that thing with a pointed look.

Though, this is unusual. Even if he is able to control it somehow, direct contact would cause mental corosion normally.

You think that kid has the potential?

Possibly, I would not discount it.

Forty five minutes and a moderately detailed explanation of the nexus and surviving in it later;

They arrived at the dorm.

After showing them all in Minato turned to them and said,

"I have a few things I would like to speak to the three of you about, but that can wait till tomorrow."

"Girls rooms are on the third floor, Boys on the second; Pick any you like other than the ones at the end of the hall."

Minato then pointed at the door at the rear of the adjoined dining room.

"That door leads to an underground labyrinth, stay out of it if you enjoy living in this time period."

"Good night."

And with that the now visibly tired Minato walked to the stairs, walked up them, traversed the hallway and entered his room, falling unconsious as soon as his head hit the pillow.

Mordred

She felt her prana reserves replenishing somewhat, though she had no clue how that would happen if her Master was not a magus. Still, she did not think it was enough to use the NP once again, but she attempted to push the beast back a bit instead of defending all the time.

Each comment of hers crushed my heart a little further, bit by bit. Alas, to love the story is to suffer the barbs and arrows of ill fortune. "Ah, if it doesn't help, much sorrow fills my breast." I collapsed to my knees before the Queen of Assyria, hands outstretched and begging. "For my forward intentions and ill advised attempts to show you how to woo the heart when you wish nothing more than carnal lust, I apologize most deeply. I beg thee forgive my trespass." Somehow, even the greatest of words could not soothe the savage heart of some women, and show them the way into anothers. Ah, such a piteous creature I must look at the moment, prostrate before this woman like a lover kicked from bed.

Shirou coughed into his hand inconspicuously, trying to hold in his laughter as Assassin eyed him with a dangerous glare, her cheeks now more red from anger than embarrassment.

"Erm, Caster, could you not take knee in the middle of the street? We're getting looks, and not just oglers." Assassin was used to the stares of men on her form, but the humiliation she felt from being looked at because of Caster's antics was something entirely different. Would Master not disapprove, she would've filled Caster's body with poison long ago.

"Besides, love is not something I associate with. Men are merely tools to an end for me", regaining some of her imperial composure with the remark, despite her unconsciousness being quite far from that answer. She did not know that quite yet.

The Behemoth bore down upon the knight's sword time and time again, it's razor-sharp claws biting into the silver sword clad with red. But despite it's superior strength, she did not budge much. The Prana-generating heavy breathing of the creature came to a stop as it roared a mighty roar, using it's power over the earth to use the ground under the knight's feet to launch her far into the air, hoping to clamp down upon her like a pair of scissors as she submitted to gravity's hold once more...

Grigori
Day 2

Grigori walked around the streets of the Shopping Complex. There was currently nothing to do now that the base was completed, so she left NML and started to walk around the Nexus. Grigori was not a very patient person, but she was willing to walk around and wait for something interesting to come to her.

Oh, so poor a soul, Assassin be, to not know the pleasures of the heart and only those of the body. Even with a form that would drive many a man mad with lusty thoughts, she saw it not as a gift to be given but a tool to be used. Such a horrible thing to think, and to do, scorning the hearts power.

My Masters words cut through the fog of my sorrow like a smallsword. "Ah, yes, of course. Lest my bewailed guilt should do thee shame, Master, I shall rise." Indeed, I did, brushing the dust of the city from my coat. "Oh, though I wail inside for thee Caster. If thy do not know the power of the heart and the innocence of love, I must indeed show you." Looking forward, I pointed at a poster in the distance, one of my plays duly being performed within a theater of its own. "See, within them distant doors lies your answer, fair Assassin."

Asileron

"It seems these two are at odds with each other. I suggested that they come back at a different time separately to avoid conflict."

"There is no need to come at sperate times, Lieutenant. Your leader is already here, so the Priest can have his appointment first. I can wait."

Asileron smiled again, left the building, and sat on a bench outside the it. Hundreds of years in a cell had taught him patience, and there was no point in starting a fight over an appointment.

Chosen Undead
"Yeah." The Knight responded for Caules.

The titanite armor was only making the Undead man even more uncomfortable as it got colder. 'That's it,' he thought, 'I'm going to drink some of it.'

The Knight took hold of one of his two remaining Estus Flasks, lifted up his face guard, and took a swig. The feeling of warmth was immediate, going down his throught and resting in his stomach. He was careful to not drink much of the substance, for there wasn't much of it left. "Let's hurry up and find a place soon, Caules. This weather isn't agreeing with me that well."

Quote

Azmortchal'um, as a False Face

Stephen Lumbridge was forty-five years old, and was a resident of Nexus City for the last twenty years. He was a  day manager of a sporting goods store in one of the various complexes of the Shopping District. Every day, he heads to work alone thirty minutes before his shift actually starts. He is good friends with his co-workers, though he never eats out with them or partake in their parties. When questioned, they don't even really know where he lives, exactly, just that he walks in from the eastern direction.

Today, while walking to work, Stephen encountered a mugger who was wielding a knife, who was quite insistent about taking his wallet. Upon refusal, the mugger attempted to stab Stephen in the gut. What the mugger didn't know was that the current Stephen was actually a False Face, an Azmortchal pure form that was sculpted in the appearance of a person already infected.

Instead of the knife entering Stephen's gut, the stomach instead opened up into a toothy maw, which promptly bit off the mugger's hand (Along with the bit of shirt that was over it). With a sickening sound, Stephens arms rapidly morphed into tentacles with sharp, bony bits. The left tentacle ripped the other man's throat out while the right promptly disemboweled the guy.

Stephen's going to call in sick today.

Grigori

Grigori smiled as the man morphed into some sort of creature. "Well, I haven't seen something like that before. What an interesting creature." She snapped her fingers, and a blast of mana annihilated the corpse the creature was attacking. She raised her right hand, and walls of fire surrounded the creature. They were not extremely hot, but it would take minimal effort to increase the heat and burn the creature alive. Grigori would not let it leave until she got what she wanted.

"Can you speak, creature?"

Looking forward, I pointed at a poster in the distance, one of my plays duly being performed within a theater of its own. "See, within them distant doors lies your answer, fair Assassin."

Assassin raised an eyebrow. This was just a tad bit too convenient, wasn't it?

"Master, do we really have time to watch this... drivel?", scoffed the dressed figure, eyeing the poster for one Romeo & Juliet while looking worryingly in  her masters direction. He wasn't actually going to agree with this, right?

"Why not? Think about it this way, Assassin. If you agree to it, Caster might just stop bothering you with his works for a while. And besides, we aren't exactly in a rush yet. I have a general idea about the location of the Grail and our main instrument for acquiring it is still a couple of days from being complete. I say we can spare a bit of time watching this performance. Besides, even I cannot claim to be entirely incurious. I hear it's one of the most famous love stories of all time."

"Once again, you aren't helping, Master. Very well, I will indulge in this on one condition, Caster. If I watch this show, you will stop being a pest at the very least for a bit. I won't ask of you to make it permanent, I know you're not that competent, but at least get off my case for a while, would you kindly?"
