Gintama returns on April 2015, so I feel obliged to put a thread here.
It's IMHO one of most varied and diverse titles in Japanese manga/anime. It can be not only a comedy but it has its own serious moments, as well as the gorilla mangaka doesn't shy from making the audience feel sad inside (Shou-chan ;_;)
