MiaMia did not look at Shirou as he sat down next to her and began to talk on the toy. She did not pay him any mind. He was going to leave her soon anyway, to be with that woman. He would leave her alone, he would break his promise…
“Cold.” She whispered as she pulled herself into a tighter ball, trying to keep herself warm.
Then the woman sat down next to her and started to speak. Her voice was soft and her hand carefully ran itself through Mia’s hair.
The feeling was relaxing, it made Mia calm down, forget for just a moment the sadness she was feeling. And then a small and calm smile appeared on her face.
Then the mean man spoke again, it was soft but Mia could still hear it. Her smile vanished as she looked at him again. Why, why was he ruining it, why was he still here, why wouldn’t he just LEAVE.
WHY WOULDN’T HE JUST DISAPPEAR!
“Wait.” Mia whispered in sudden realization, “I'm strong.”
She realized it, it was almost comical that she had forgotten, she could make the man disappear even if she didn't kill him. If she did Shirou and Forest would be mad at her. She didn’t want that.
So she stood up, and looked at Law. She didn’t blink, her eyes didn’t flicker. She just stared.
And then, in a burst of near untraceable movement, she was in front of him, looking up at his face.
And then he went flying black through the door, an incredibly fast attack sending him flying. It would not kill him, but he would be sore.
Then smiling again since the mean man was gone Mia skipped back to her spot between Forest and Shirou, sat down, and leaned against Forest, expecting her to begin running her fingers though her hair again as if nothing happened.
RebecaRebeca sat down on a bench as she waited for Donkey to return. What was wrong with her recently, she was letting so much slip, to many hints, to many signs. She had two different mental breakdowns and said two things she had no business knowing.
It was like she was a kid again asking her parents stupid questions.
“Greetings, girl. What can you tell a passing traveler about this city?” Upon coming closer it became clear the girl’s strange clothes were a bit dirty. Perhaps she was a farmer, or a miner?
“Huh?” She looked over to the new arrival, decked out in rather horrifying looking metal armor. She was most definitely not a farmer or miner. Who in their right mind would assume that?
Obviously this weirdo, and definitely a newcomer to the city, so she guessed she should help her out a bit.
“It’s called the Nexus.” Rebeca said with a huff, but she was totally not angry or anything.
“Congrats, you’re stuck here now. Like everyone else is.” Ok, she was totally angry, both at her failures at hiding her nature and this woman’s view of her.
She would probably admit later she was being somewhat of a bitch.
