Hamara"I don't understand the question." He answered with a slightly askew eyebow, simply, with less emotion that he realized he should have put into it. But nonetheless, as far as Henry Barthow showed, those were his genuine thoughts. "Now quit insulting my partner, and get out."
Hamara’s eyes narrowed at the man response. That confirmed it, either something was hiding this ‘man’s’ true nature, or something was befouling his powers.
"From my observations I detect that you are a blighted wanker," she said, her voice raising about conversational level to get the attention of others here. She noticed some of the uniformed officers standing meekly and staring at the pale man as if they were spellbound by him.
She folded her arms across her chest and her voice rang out, as clear as a bell, "You are the police of Nexus City. It is your duty to protect the innocent. He is hindering you from your task. Are you going to let that stand?"
Hamara’s looked at the woman for but a moment, almost as if judging if she truly understood what she had just said, before he turned and walked towards his brothers and sisters. He had no more reason to stay, the monster was not here, and he has learned all he can from watching the remains of his brother’s form.
“Thou seem to misunderstand something, my fallen sister, as do thy, my brother” He said while addressing the two detectives. However there seemed to be an odd tone as he addressed Henry, but it would be impossible to tell what exactly it meant.
As he walked towards the exit, all those that showed doubt due to Saber’s words forgot it; instead they stood at attention to Hamara, showing without a doubt would they would obey between the two, a contest between Saber’s charisma, police rank, and time spent with these men and woman, and the nature of Hamara’s existence itself.
And it was Saber’s resounding loss.
Not all battles were fought with blades and blood after all. Some battles are on a much deeper, much more fundamental level than that.
“All humans know who I am, or what I represent. I am the purest example of humanity, their protector and guardian, and I live for their sakes and their sakes alone. “He stated a simple fact that these two are unaware of. He could not blame them, for they could not see it.
He had long learned that men have difficulty putting the sentiments they feel towards him into words, for it was something beyond that on infinitely more levels. It was a simplification of his nature, but it should prove sufficient in this situation.
“I have no desire to impede my siblings in their work; however the monster responsible will be cleansed by my light. If thou impede me…” He trailed off as he stopped and turned his head back at them.
His voice was as stone, “Then thou make yourself the enemy of mankind itself.” And with that he walked outside, having no more words to the two with the ultimatum delivered.
As Hamara left the room he noticed odd warmth in the air, warmth that was not present when he arrived.
However he paid it no mind, instead his attention was brought to a group of his siblings. However there was one thing out.
Among them was an abomination. Her appearance was unimportant, her weapons were unimportant, and her location was unimportant.
She has fallen too far to be an acceptable existence to overlook, like that woman inside was. This one was no longer something that can be considered human, even calling her one of his sisters would be more than any insult.
“My brothers, step away from that one.” He instructed, making the policemen look at him. And with that the police officers moved away from her without questioning him in the slightest.
And then he addressed her, “Thou are fallen, no longer human thou remain in the world. Such a thing is a crime in of itself. However, in memory of what thou once were I shall hear thine final words and commit them to memory.”
The light around him flicked, motes of pure white light hovered all around him. White light, as if they were stars that have descended to the earth itself, its beauty enraptured all the men that saw it.
Unmatchable, unparalleled, it was the light of creation itself.
“Speak, for even if thou do not thy will feel the might of creation.”
