Rachel Finnigan
After spending most of her morning at it, Rachel was convinced she had found what she was looking for. Namely, the two people she could see from her vantage point in an alleyway below, one of whom was carrying a very conspicuous item. At this distance, she didn't need the compass to tell that was likely it. It oozed enough miasma that even she could very easily sense it.
The redhead brought down the binoculars to bite into her hamburger. Munching on the last of her meal, she considered her options. The girl looked frail and didn't seem like much, but she was the one carrying the cup, and that had to mean something. The guy's style, on the other hand, made her think of a martial artist. And as much as he looked human, and didn't emanate power like a lighthouse, appearances could be deceiving.
She crumpled the burger wrapping into a ball and tossed it away before turning around. The Shadowkhan awaited further orders, kneeling patiently atop the roof of the building. With a sharp look she ordered: "Disable the man from stealth, and then use the element of surprise to accost the girl. Take the cup, and drag her away too if possible. Go."
The oni listened, and obeyed. All those attending to her but two vanished in puffs of smoke, and Rachel turned back to the alleyway with her binoculars. Through the shadows, the shadowkhan stalked into the alley, crawling over the walls and darkened corners in perfect silence and subtlety. In moments, the horde of ninjas was ready to attack. From the back of the alley, over the heads of the two standing there, a one bearing a bow notched a poisoned arrow.
After a second of aiming, it released the projectile at the man's leg.
