"Fair enough," Adjutor said, "If there's anything I can help with in that regard, you need only ask."

Forest raised her eyebrow at the onrunning commentary in Adjutor's mind.  There was someone else there which was interesting and odd, but she had a suspicion that this placed housed a whole assortment of things like this.  Then she noticed the glass of ale being served to the pirate and didn't bother to hide her chuckle.  Then she noticed Adjutor drinking as well and shook her head.

"So, what the bloody hell is this place anyway?  It it some magical pleasure den or what?"

[Panda]

"Well..." Adjutor trails off for a moment, face going red due to causes unrelated to the alcohol he was drinking, "If you want it to be one, then yes, it can be. The Velvet Room can accommodate just about any tastes you may have, so long as everyone involved is consenting."

"Fair enough, fair enough, fair enough... quit it ya scurvy dog! This is why you don't get all the fun, you're too moody.", he moaned in annoyance. Taking hold of his glass, he raisedit high up and roared in delight.

"This is what it means to live! I may be half dead, but I know, I sure as hell know that it isn't by letting opportunities like this pass by that you're going to be happy.", said Lorenzo before consuming the alcohol in a single gulp.

"You find a lovely lass like 'er, and the best you can think of is simply asking if you can help? I'd be crying if I wasn't busy Yo-ho-ho'ing at this pathetic display!"

Turning to the lady, the pirate smiled before taking a bottle from Adjutor's collection, holding it with the intention to cheer. "Name's Lorenzo Remei, call me whatever you fancy. To whom do I owe this pleasure?"

"Well..." Adjutor's voice trailed off for a moment as his face flushed. "If you want it to be one, then yes, it can be. The Velvet Room can accommodate just about any tastes you may have, so long as everyone involved is consenting."

Forest nodded at those words and took another drink.  A voice that sounded suspiciously like her Godson's said in her head, "Come on.  Have a bit of fun for once.  You have been celibate for 252 years and seventeen days.  The lad said, 'just about any taste you have.'  It's not like people you know in the outside world are going to know what happened in these walls . . ."

Then there was the pirate's boisterous antics that made Forest smile again.  It brought a wave of nostalgia to her; it had been ages since she'd talked to a pirate like this.  He proclaimed his love for life before downing is drink in one good go.

"You find a lovely lass like 'er, and the best you can think of is simply asking if you can help? I'd be crying if I wasn't busy Yo-ho-ho'ing at this pathetic display!"

Forest laughed at that, and bowed her head.  She'd made an effort tonight, goddamn it.  Even if she did go punky goth (which she just liked thank you very much), she felt confidant in her appearance.

"Name's Lorenzo Remei, call me whatever you fancy. To whom do I owe this pleasure?"

She clinked her glass to his bottle and said, "I'm Forest, and it's bloody nice to meet you both."

You going to join in, or not?

Chuckling, Adjutor raises his glass to the pirate's and the vampire's with a light clink.

"Very well, then," the teen says with a grin, "If you're going to play that game... As I recall, your over-the-top antics didn't help matters much either. I mean, look at what happened to the girl with the notebook from earlier."

"Hahah, I'd say the same, Forest ." Lorenzo spoke jovially as the glass hit the bottle with a merry clink. "It's been too long since I shared a fine drink with a fine lady. If I didn't know any better I'd think to be in heaven!"

With that said, Lorenzo took a sip of the bottle's contents. It mattered not what it was, it could have been cow piss for all he cared. But a drink is a drink, and any drink is a good drink when enjoying good company.

Now turning to Adjutor, his smile grew cheeky as his face reddened. Without giving any time to retaliate, he grabbed onto the man'se  cheeks and pulled them.

"Good grief mate, don't be a dummy. The past matters not, you gotta live in the moment! Suuuuuuure, I messed up, but It was still fun! And I got to learn a valuable lesson: dildos are the bane of mankind and all that is pure."

Lorenzo nodded sagely, as if he had revealed a most sagacious truth.

"Besides, what's wrong with havin' a good time? You worry too much, so quit it and get merry!", said the pirate before laughing heartily.

Forest raised her right eyebrow at Adjutor's question to Lorenzo and his answer.

"Good grief mate, don't be a dummy. The past matters not, you gotta live in the moment! Suuuuuuure, I messed up, but It was still fun! And I got to learn a valuable lesson: dildos are the bane of mankind and all that is pure."

She couldn't help but laugh at that.  Another drink was taken and she felt a little lightheaded, which was odd.  Vampires couldn't get drunk like this; she expected if she took a sip of Lorenzo she'd be dancing on the tables and enticing one - or if she really wanted to admit it - both of them to shag her.  She shook her head to help clear the fog out of it and grinned at Lorenzo.

"So, did this young lass pass you up because the dildo's endowments were greater than yours?"

Then she looked at Adjutor and pointed at him, noticing her finger was wavering just a bit and that the polish on her nails was a really pretty and shiny violet.  "And you, letting the weight of the world sit on your shoulders isn't any way to live.  I know that for a bloody fact.  Hell, if I can come into a place like this and start chatting up a tentacle boy and a pirate, then you can loosen up."

Tentacle boy?

Well, we're not exactly doing anything to dissuade the idea.

"Hey now," Adjutor bristles, "I can make just about anything I can put my mind to with these, not just tentacles."

With that, Adjutor retracts the tendrils back into his arms and focuses for a moment before a strainer emerges from one hand and a decanter from the other, remaining for a moment before they melt back into his hands, tendrils bursting out to prepare the next round of drinks.

"As for the young lass," Adjutor says with a chuckle, "Suffice it to say that she left that room with all possible haste."

"And I'm trying to ease up on the depression," Adjutor counters, "Admittedly, the pirate did help a fair bit with that."

Lorenzo's face reddened further, perhaps due to the alcohol cating up on his body, or perhaps it was but a blush. Either way, the pirate shook his head, his face full of dissappointment.

"I guess she was simply too nice for this kind of place... it couldn't be helped. I just hope she's doing well now.", he said with a low sigh.

Still, his low mood quickly dissipated in the pace of a drink, and he once again gained his high spirits. "But fear not, I shall personally see to it that you are most pleased of your stay. What say you, we have all the time in the world, so let us celebrate!"

"Now... I have an idea. Are you two interested in playing a game?"

"That's because sometimes pirates can be awesome," Forest said putting her glass down.  She eyed the trick with the tendrils and said, "Well, you were making tentacles first ergo Tentacle Boy.  Also depression is a horrid, horrid thing and the first thing you can do to help is to get help.  Or surround yourself with positive people, like Lorenzo."

"As for being too nice for this kind of place?  Fffft, I frequently go to worse and it usually ends in violence because my first reaction is to start punching when something miffles me.  But game!  What kind of game?"

[Panda]

"If by positive people you mean the kind who'll literally beat the depression out of you, then yes, Lorenzo is a very positive person," Adjutor says with a chuckle, "Regardless, I won't say I didn't get a good hit in myself, and his methods are effective."

With that, he frowns at the pirate for a moment, "Knowing you, this game will involve copious amounts of alcohol. Ah, what the hell, why not?"

Lorenzo blushed at the sudden flattery, his heart skipping a beat as the two complimented him somewhat. Of course, he was used all too well to compliments, usually told after copious amounts of drink and perhaps a farfetched tale or two. But for once, these compliments felt... real. Like in the old days.

His embarassed face suddenly turned into a warm smile. Scratching his head, all the pirate could muster was an hesitant Aye.

"Ahem, anyhow, what gave it away? I have kept myself quite subtle I believe. As for the game... well, it could be a simple gambling game. However, I am afraid the one thing I'd have to gamble is my cloth, and that could turn rather *ahem* messy." joked Lorenzo before laughing once more.

"How about a simple game of truth me hearties? With drinks! Lots and lots of the finest drinks in the house!"

Clearing his throat, he grabbed on the two and gave them a hearty slap on the back.

"Rules are simple, you have to guess something bout whoever ya fancy, but you have to guess it right. You lose, you get booze. Don't lose, and you can still get booze! How does it sound mates!?", roared Lorenzo before Yo-ho-ho'ing once again.

"That game sounds sort of silly and a reason to get drunk.  Plus, Tyrion Lannister played that in the first season of Game of Thrones," Forest said as she pointed her finger at Lorenzo.

She leaned over to Adjutor and said, "He's sort of like the most drunk pirate ever."

Then the blond straightened up and said, "Come on, make it more interesting than just guess something about that bloke and get a drink if you're wrong."

[Panda]

"I'm aware," Adjutor says, leaning in with Forest, "He's the reason that the gallery of cocktails I set up earlier is gone."

"Okay," Adjutor says, straightening up as well, "Here's a little something, how about...for each right guess, you choose one person, and they take something off. You should have a fair advantage already, Forest, all things considered."

"Tyrion Lannister? Never heard of him. And what is this game of thrones you speak of?", the pirate asked quizzically. It seemed Lorenzo had still much to learn about modern life.

"Okay," Adjutor says, straightening up as well, "Here's a little something, how about...for each right guess, you choose one person, and they take something off. You should have a fair advantage already, Forest, all things considered."

Hearing that, Lorenzo nearly fell his chair laughing, the whole room shaking with him as he tried to keep himself in an almost sober state.

"See!? He might try to hide it all he wants, but the lad is as eager as you can get!", the pirate roared before laughing once more, holding his buddy by the shoulder.

"Mph, rather interesting idea, quite bold. I like this spirit, keep it up and you'll have no problem in life! What say you, Forest?"
