Rin

Rin froze. That voice. It couldn't be, but... She slowly turned around. Did a double take. And then...

"A-archer?" She stared up at the man that looked rather stunningly like her former Servant, clothes and all. Notably, his arm was intact...

Keep it together Rin, keep it together! You're a Tohsaka, remember? A Tohsaka!

She straightened herself up, put on her best poker face. ...and then belligerently stomped over to him and crossed her arms over her chest.

"How come you had to go and die on me? It was very brave of you and all to save EMIYA-kun, but why did you have to run off and be so selfless? Here I've been without you all this time when I could have used your help! I-I mean, it's not like I missed you or anything while I was in London, but having a high powered familiar would have been useful you know! And no one makes tea like you do! And... a-and..."

Rin's face practically caught on fire. Two things suddenly dawned on her. One: This Archer was likely not even aware of any of that, still being alive and all. Except maybe the tea. Two: She'd just made a complete idiot of herself in front of him.

She went pale for a moment before her cheeks went back to being quite flushed indeed. "A-and so, what have you been up to? Do you have another Master, or is it just another me?"

Rin mentally thwacked herself for that. This was already going turning out to be a long night, even if the encounter was an oddly happy one.

Tom

Tom couldn't help but feel a flicker of sympathy for the vampire. Even if his heart had hardened from what he'd witnessed in the Nexus, it hadn't hardened so far he couldn't feel basic empathy. In fact, the woman's pain made him feel a bit... sad.

Quote from: Forest
"It's suppose to feel . . . good and there's a closeness and a release of tension.  It's . . . been a while."
Even without peering into her mind, he could feel her pain. A part of him wanted to break down and give her what she wanted but... well, she was a vampire, which meant she had been human once. But even he knew not all humans were terrible.

Still... what to do. He was honestly curious, but at the same time, he didn't know if he wanted to take advantage of this woman for the sake of her own curiosity, nor if he dared to allow himself to be so intimate with someone he hardly knew. ...Still, he was feeling rather tense, and she was obviously feeling rather tense, both of them were miserable, and both were about ready to do anything to disperse that feeling... It was something to consider.

He then noticed the third stranger come in. A larger crowd... Lovely. The last thing he wanted was another person to have to talk to. He'd had enough of that in those awful boardroom meetings and those ghastly corporate parties he had to attend. He gave the newcomer a quick glare before sullenly settling back into his chair, not noticing yet that his other companion had already left for the bar.

"I'm Forest," the blond said, extending her hand, "And I don't think those newbies are going to come over.  You give off that anti-social vibe too well."

She leaned back in her chair, stretching her legs with a frown, leaning forward.  She sighed and said, "Not that I'm being any better right now."

Tom's eyes widened a bit. Forest had just managed to make it through his mental barrier, meaning she was a telepath of significant strength. Now this... this was intriguing. He took her hand and shook it, his grip strong and steady from having to shake the hands of too many arrogant people with too much power to handle. Unlike a good number of them though, he could feel callouses on her fingers. A sign that she had, at the very least, had to do a good amount of hard work in her time.

"Thomas Hale. You are psychic as well, I see." He released her hand. "Not just anyone can break through into my mind. Your ability is astonishing. As for being antisocial, well..." He smirked before continuing. "To be honest, I hardly find that an insult. I've had to be social far too often as of late, and if I happen to frighten people off with that, then that suits me just fine. I have had too few private conversations as of late. Having our discourse remain one on one is perfectly acceptable in my eyes." He gave the poor unfortunate newcomer a pointed glare before turning back to Forest.

Judging by whatever is happening to the barkeep, it definitely sounds like he'll be quite busy with that starlet that called him an Archer. A smile graced his face as he simply left them both to their own devices. He can certainly wait for his booze to come later, no rush after all. Maybe he could find someone to talk to while waiting.

She leaned back in her chair, stretching her legs with a frown, leaning forward.  She sighed and said, "Not that I'm being any better right now."

His ears perked at the voice of a young woman. To his side was the sight of a lithe female dressed in what seemed to be a rather risque outfit in the standards of his world. Of course, he knew it was otherwise around these parts.

Time unceremoniously butt into their conversation with a wry smile, "Hey there, you guys around from these parts?"

Forest returned Thomas's handshake with a good amount of pressure, making sure not to actually hurt him.  She looked away and said, "Most of the time my ability can be a pain in the neck, thank you though.  However, that wasn't just me reading your mind.  A lot of that was reading your body language."

Then she chuckled and said, "For someone who doesn't like to 'talk', you're pretty verbose."

She blinked at the newcomer and said, "Love, no one is from these parts.  This is part of Nexus which sucks up people and bits from other world's at its nefarious whims."

"I can understand that all too well. It took me some time before I could block out all the traffic coming in. Even with the small group of people I had around me at the time it could be unbearable. Still, it is remarkable nonetheless. I could perhaps attempt to teach you how to block out the noise better. Telepathy is not my greatest strength I'm afraid, but passing on my one mastery of it I would not mind doing in the slightest."

He then smiled again, one more sheepish that his last one, even if it did still look like a smirk. He did have some self awareness after all. "Just because one is verbose does not mean they find talking to others pleasant. You so far are an exception to the rule, so perhaps you could say you are more worthy to hear me go on and on than most. But yes, I will admit it is an issue. I find myself either too lacking in words or too full of them. It is something I wish to attempt to correct in the near future."

Tom then turned to the newcomer. He found him somewhat irritating, butting into their conversation, but the question was harmless enough to warrant a response. "No."

"Wait, you're telling me this isn't the Clif Bar?"

It was Time's turn to be surprised. He looked around the place one more time as if searching for something. Stuff started to add up the more he looked around.

"Well, that explains why this place doesn't look that familiar," he groaned at this as he finally sat back into his seat, "Gee, who could've known?"

Time sighed at this predicament and looked back at the direction at the bartender that hopefully he might be ready to serve his drink. But, of course he isn't.

"Oh well, this place can't be all that bad," he thought to himself optimistically.

Then he remembered he did attract the attention of a lovely blonde and a more stoic male.

"Right, where's my manners? I'm Time. Not Timmy. T-I-M-E. Time."

Adjutor, by this point, as decided that he's had quite enough of the chattering person, having managed to down a fifth of brandy at a rate that is highly inadvisable for someone of his BMI and gender, forgetting about any relevant predispositions, and decided he didn't like this Time person talking.

Easiest solution to this would be to hand him a drink.

And that's how a black metal tendril growing out of Adjutor's arm ended up tapping Time on his shoulder while another one handed him a Between the Sheets. How he was able to mix that is anyone's guess.

Forest flicked one of the twin-tails back and sighed.  She said, "I can shield, but sometimes when there are too many people and if they're thinking too intently it still gets through.  Like I'm a broadcast antenna picking up and reading all of their signals.  Maybe some extra training might help.  I've just been sort of winging it for a very long time."

Then she grinned at Thomas and said, "You're also talking because you're nervous.  Let me guess, this is the first time you've openly talked to someone that didn't involve your job?"

She wasn't going to point out that she could smell the beginnings of lust from him.  Her senses confirmed that he was a virgin, a true one, and considering his acidic nature he may have never been attracted to anyone before.  She could have laughed at the irony.

She looked at Time and said, "This is the Velvet Room.  Apparently shagging is suppose to happen here.  I just found myself dressed like the demented version of pre-Sunnydale Buffy.  I'm Forest by the way, and my stoic friend here giving you the Stink Eye is Thomas Hale."

"I would be willing to train you, as I said before. You would likely appreciate the peace of mind. I know I do. How unfortunate it is that I cannot do the same in terms of sound outside the mind."

He then stared at her for a moment as she grinned at him. He then cocked his head to one side for a moment before speaking up again. "I am hardly nervous. Though I will admit that... well, yes, I have not talked openly to anyone really, outside my head of security. Not in a very long time. And with her, even then I keep some distance. She seems to view me with some sort of sibling affection, though I am not for certain why." He chuckled lightly. "I certainly seem to confound her enough. Though I will admit people like her and you confound me as well. There are not enough good people in this world."

He then looked over to Time when introduced. He just curtly nodded. He also didn't take much heed to the tentacles. He'd been in the Nexus for over a year, things like that hardly seemed odd anymore.

"That seems about right so far," Time uncomfortably agreed at this odd fact, "This place wouldn't be a whorehouse or something acting as the part, would it?"

Buffy? Stink Eye? These were terms Time is not familiar with. But he just continued to nod like an idiot acting as if he knew.

"Pleasure to meet you, Forest," his teeth flashed at her in a smile.

He then looked over to Time when introduced. He just curtly nodded.

"And you too, Thomas."

Though he wasn't quite sure he was giving him the cold shoulder. Maybe he's one of those silent types.

Just as he exchanged pleasanries, something tapped him on the shoulder. Looking back it was someone with a metallic tentacle handing him a cocktail glass of alcohol. It was an odd thing, but Time didn't question it and accepted the drink.

"Oh hey, thanks," he gratefully waved back at the owner of such odd appendages.

Looking at the cocktail glass full of clear fluid, Time curiously examined the make of glass. He took a whiff at it, the strength was formidable that stung his nostrils.

"Oh man this one's strong," the swordsman noted to himself in delight.

Without further ado, he helped himself with the full glass and pursed his lips at its strength before finally gasping.

"Whoa whoa whoa! Damn. I like this. What's this called?"

"Between the Sheets," Adjutor says from the bar, "Which is where you might end up spending most of your time here, if you happen to be fortunate enough."

With that, the first set of tendrils retract before mixing a Long Island Ice Tea and handing it to the cold shoulder guy along with a note that says, 'Just in case'.

Looking over elsewhere, Adjutor reaches out with the Armogarians on his other hand and, after some fumbling around, passes a glass of wine to the twin-tailed, black haired girl with a metric fuck-ton of magical potential (Nice ass, nice legs) and a glass of cognac to a sheepish looking guy with mismatched hair and eyes (Calico? Motherfucking Calico? How?!) with tendrils to attract their attention as well.

Misaya's attempts to hide her pleasure were rather adorably ineffective. Her bites and threatening commands spurred him forward further and further, Her walls pulling him in like a sweet and sticky trap. Lawrence enjoyed every little whimper and moan he managed to get past her blood red lips, his occasional groan or staggered breath an indication of his own satisfaction. When she curled up, a hefty amount of smug satisfaction filled him, even as she screamed into his throat and dragged bloody furrows into his back during her climax. Slowing down, Lawrence pulled out with a wet 'pop', her lust dripping from his shaft and down Misaya's thighs.

Rolling her onto her stomach, he took this opportunity to collect himself. That was a close one. He'd been right on the edge of shooting off in her greedy core when she'd climaxed. "So, you were saying something about me being only a decent fuck~?" Law teased, gently pinching her ass underneath that tantalizing skirt of hers. "Have you reconsidered your position yet, or should I change your mind for you..."

Misaya giggled slightly at being turned over, her voluptuous bottom hidden just beneath the skirt, the only part of her silky dress that remained on, sticking into the air behind her. Her alabaster back, covered in visible drops of sweat, was now turned against Law as Misaya put her hands against the wall the bed stood against. She looked back with a glare of smug arousal over her shoulder, as she wiggled her hips, shaking her ass back and forth in an inviting motion.

"You might be able to change my mind, but I don't think you've quite proven yourself yet." She said with a devilish smirk, one that both mocked Lawrence and invited him to do his worst.

Lawrence flipped up her short skirt as he pulled her hips towards his, ramming hilt deep into her once again. A hand smacked her pale ass, reddening it again and again in the shape of his palm. So she wanted him to do his worst? Alright then. She'd asked for it.

"I don't think I have to prove anything when you've already squirted twice, and I'm still not done..." He growled into her ear as he pressed her down onto the silky sheets, lifting that round ass of hers upward to plunge even deeper into her core with each stroke. A hand diddled at her raised nub as he grabbed a hold of her hair to yank her head back close enough for him to nibble at her ear and neck, pressing onwards as she tightened around him. He casually twirled the thick strands across her back as he thrusted, lost in his desire to make sure she wouldn't be walking any time soon after this.

Archer swirled the proffered glass of cognac in his hands as he smiled at his Master's rambling. Now that was the Rin he knew and loved. "You really do lie a lot Rin. You should be honest with yourself - you did miss me. I certainly missed having you around." Taking a drink of the liqour he smiled. "I've just been tending bar here really. This place has enough magical energy to keep me supplied without an issue"

Archer raised his glass and clinked it against Rin's. "So. Drink up, so we can catch up Rin. And by the way... you will always be my Master. I can promise you that."

Forest found herself grinning at Thomas's confession.  She said, "I think I know why she thinks of you as a sibling.  Especially if she's your head of security.  She probably has done a lot to take care of you."

She held up her finger and said, "In a crowd like this, its better to listen to see if there's any music.  If there is, try to focus on that and the rabble becomes a sort of white noise."  Then she frowned at his comment about good people being rare.  If she was more optimistic she'd make a comment about good being in everyone, but she knew that wasn't the case.  Instead she said, "Sometimes you just have to give people a chance.  Like Time seems like a decent sort."

She grinned at Time enjoying his drink and said, "Try a Scotch Sour next then.  It . . ." a frown crossed her face as her indigo eyes darkened, "It was my g- son's favorite."
