Forest

"Then it would seem that there's nothing more to say," Adjutor said, unable to stop a small smile from making itself known on his face, "Perhaps we could simply enjoy each others' company?"

Forest raised an eyebrow as she took the frosty glass of orange juice.  Before she could reply, Lorenzo proclaimed, "See? You two are smitten for one another!" Then he raised his glass for a toast. "Cheers, my adorable rascals that I just met."

She looked over at Shirou, who rolled his eyes before looking around.  Then he stood up and said, "Forest, would you mind coming with me for a moment?"

Looking over at the eager bartender and the boisterous pirate, she nodded as she rose from her seat as well.  "Not at all, Shirou."  She took her glass, gave the other two a cheeky wave and said, "Maybe you two can enjoy each others' company while we're gone."


Rin

The raven haired magus eyed the wine.  She knew her father had been a fan of the stuff, but the current Tohsaka head preferred harder liquor like brandy, whiskey, or a good scotch.  Still, she wasn't going to refuse the ruby liquid as she took the glass from Emily.

"I know a version of the guy who resembles the calico cat at the bar.  Well, rather he's in the 'in-between' stage of the before and after I've met," Rin said taking a sip, "Forest I've just met."

Adjutor

Nothing truly changed about Adjutor's expression, aside from the fact that while his face was still smiling, his quicksilver eyes had promptly stopped.

Oh god please don't leave me here with this guy.

EMIYA SHIROU

Shirou led Forest over to one of the rooms and opened the door. To his complete horror, the room beyond it held a lush, impressively pillowed bed, roses on the nightstand, and a mirror directly across from the bed. Beyond that was what appeared to be a separate bathroom with a tub.

Shirou hesitated, then realized the other rooms were probably similar and walked in anyways with a sigh.

"So, Forest," he started, before gulping nervously. The room's atmosphere was way too intense, it made this seem like a love confession, which was exactly what he had hoped to avoid accusations of. "Um..."

Forest

Forest swallowed at her lack of reflection and Shirou's exotic countenance reflected back at her.  She slid her hands into her pockets as Shirou sighed and walked the rest of the way in.

"So, Forest," Shirou said, before gulping loud enough that she could hear it.  She turned to him and he said, "Um . . ."

Forest said, "It was getting crowded with those idiots, so what?"  She perched on the night stand, staying away from the mirror, not wanting to give him any more reminders that she wasn't human.

Emily

Emily smiled as she took a sip of her own wine.

"You sound like you were close to him," Emily noted, mirth bright in her tone, "What about the blonde girl? You two seem quite familiar as well."

EMIYA SHIROU

Shirou blushed a little at the sight of Forest on the nightstand, the enormous vase of roses to her back. Somehow the many reds in the room seemed to accentuate the vampire's pale figure.

"Uh, yeah, I didn't want them listening in on us," he said. "Look, I know what it feels like to be lonely. And Saber can only help so much but, perhaps... I could help too? If you forgive me for the way things were when we met."

Forest

The scent of roses in the room was thick, almost cloying.  She wondered if she'd been alive if it made her dizzy; she shook it off as Shirou said, ""Uh, yeah, I didn't want them listening in on us.  Look, I know what it feels like to be lonely. And Saber can only help so much but, perhaps... I could help too? If you forgive me for the way things were when we met."

Forest blinked at his words before staring at him for a few moments and then looking away.  She toyed with a fallen petal on the nightstand, enjoying its silken feel between her fingertips.  She replied, "I did forgive you.  I mean, I understand what you were doing.  You were taking the least amount of personal risk."

Then she shrugged and let the stray petal fall onto the plush carpet.  "Still have to tease though.  I'm not going to apologize for biting you."  She looked away, but she was grinning.  "I'd do that again in a heartbeat."

EMIYA SHIROU

Shirou blinked and flushed completely, caught off guard. I thought she didn't like having to bite people, he thought frantically.

"Does my blood taste that good?" he blurted without thinking. "Unless you meant..." he started to say, but then trailed off once his brain caught up and he realized what that would mean. God, it was like he was a teenager again. If Luvia or Tohsaka were around they'd never let this go.

Forest

I thought she didn't like having to bite people, Shirou's thought was as clear as day.

Forest blinked and looked down, then away, and held up her hands as she looked at him.

"Does my blood taste that good?" he blurted without thinking. "Unless you meant..."

Forest bit the inside of her cheek and she gave a little nod.  "Y-yeah . . . on both accounts actually . . . Oh bugger it all and normally I don't like biting someone unless they deserve it because what happens but . . ."  She looked away and strummed her fingers on the desk.  "So there."

EMIYA SHIROU

Shirou's eyes swept over Forest as she opened up her feelings to him. Although she couldn't blush, she was clearly as embarrassed about this as he was. Steeling himself and ignoring his own loudly beating heart, he took a few steps closer and slowly, hesitantly, reached out to her hand strumming the nightstand and brushed his own hand against hers.

"What if... what if I said that... I wanted you to?" he asked, now grasping her hand within his own. "What would you do?"

Forest

She could hear Shirou's heart racing as he stepped over to her, his lovely mismatched eyes wandering over her.  Then his hand touched hers and her chest tightened.  His skin was warm against her cool flesh and she welcomed it.  Part of her wanted to run away, avoid getting hurt, while a larger part wanted to see if the rest of him was as warm as his hand. 

"What if... what if I said that... I wanted you to?" he asked, now grasping her hand within his own. "What would you do?"

Forest blinked at his words and looked down at his hand holding hers.  She swallowed and shifted just a little bit.  "Freeze for a moment," she admitted in a soft voice, "S-sort of like I am now a-and then admit that I'd want more than just to bite you."

Lorenzo Remei

It seemed the master of romance had accomplished his mission. Giving a solid thumbs up towards whatever room the two lovebirds were in, he downed another glass.

"Mission accomplished." he grinned with satisfaction.

Rin

Rin smiled and said, "Saber?  Apparently she knows me better than I know her, but that's what happens when you get into dimension hopping magic."

[Panda]

Adjutor

Finally released from the pirate's grip, Adjutor all but collapsed on the bar, taking a few breaths of that wonderful gas that he'd just been taking for granted as he tried to recover.

...Yup, I need a drink.

Adjutor stared for a moment at the rum in front of him, then decided that it wasn't strong enough. A moment's focus Reinforced the drink before Adjutor raised it to his lips, knocking the Reinforced alcohol back.

Unfortunately, the truth was that a moment's focus Reinforced every drink on the bar. Again.


Emily

"Saber?" Emily repeated, "Curious name. Though, I do wonder...you two seem rather..." the Changeling cracked a smile, "Perhaps close isn't the right word, but...would I be wrong to wonder if you like her in a similar manner as the future version of your recently departed calico friend?"

With that, she took another sip of the wine, only to frown slightly as the buzz proceeded to hit her like a freight train. Odd...or maybe she'd had a bit more to drink than she'd thought...

EMIYA SHIROU

Shirou wasn't sure it was possible for him to blush any deeper, knowing that this cute woman with lovely porcelian skin wanted to do that with him. He gently tugged on her hand, trying to coax Forest off of her perch and into a hug.

"I-I think that I'd want to do that too. I've... liked you for awhile now."
