Appearance:
Personality: He is casual, carefree and friendly, an all around comforting presence. The sort of shoulder you can lean on with no worries while he sings a song. He grieves for his lost love, but has moved past despair and wants to write the perfect song to honor her memory. He seeks to write a happy beautiful song just like her, so while he does not care about conflict, wars or any sort of intrigue, much preferring to just laze around and sing, he prefers beauty and happiness to grief, violence and despair. He wouldn’t fight for grand ideals like justice or heroism, but his heart is in the right place and he respects/admires those who are passionate and follow their ideals, especially regarding matters of the heart.
History/Legend: There once lived a man named Orpheus. Orpheus was the son of one of the Muses and a Thracian prince. He was a fantastic musician, so much so that he had no competition accept for the gods themselves. Orpheus' music was so inspirational and powerful that he was able to make living and non living things pursue him.
From his music, Orpheus made Eurydice swoon. The two were married, but not for long. Out taking a stroll, Eurydice stepped on a viper. The viper bit her and she was soon dead.Eurydice was taken to the Underworld. Orpheus decided to try and get his true love back, which included going to Underworld and pleading for her to Hades. He faced many obstacles to return his Eurydice.
When Orpheus got to the Underworld, he used his lyre to get past creatures like Cerberus to get to Hades. As Orpheus reached Hades he pleaded to get his wife back and did it through song on his lyre. Hades was so touched by the lyrics, that he summoned Eurydice for Orpheus. In Orpheus' sorrow, he was determined to keep Eurydice, but there was a catch. On the journey to the Upper world, Hades said, that if Orpheus even glanced back to try and see her, Eurydice would disappear forever.
Orpheus knew for sure on the way up that his beloved was behind him. Orpheus finally reached the Upper world. Eurydice was still in the cavern. Orpheus did not realize this as he turned around to greet her. He took a quick glance and saw his wife mouthing the words, "goodbye..". The love of this life was lost forever in the land of life after death.
He would die eventually, torn apart by a group of women whose advances he rejected. Despite meeting such a tragic fate, Orpheus smiled. His last thoughts were of a love long lost.

It is the mark of one who has reached the pinnacle of their craft and beyond, able to find inspiration to write an epic by just looking at a falling droplet. Noble Phantasm:-- Name: Orpheic Song
-- Fancy Title: Transcending sounds
-- Rank: EX
-- Type: Anti Army.
-- Description/Legend: It is said that Orpheus’s music was so beautiful, it could move even stones. His skill with the harp transcended even the divine, indeed it was said that while Apollo created the harp, Orpheus perfected it. His songs are so enthralling, they capture the heart of all who are subject to them, regardless of whether they have the capacity to hear or not. Captured in the world of his song, they become part of it and are subject to the tales and words sung by the ultimate musician. People, objects, heroes, magic, divine beings, even the very elements are absorbed by the music.
A song of a desolate land of scorched earth and burning sands will dry everything in his surroundings until it crumbles to dust, while a song of heroes that stand tall and endure impossible trials will reinvigorate the heart of all, rending even the most puissant attacks ultimately obsolete. He can even sway the hearts of others, even objects, to keep them from harming him. It is the ultimate form of suggestion, that sends messages to the soul so potent the imagery becomes more than song, becomes a reality that can even defy the natural laws.
However, the effects are not instantaneous, he must sing continuously in order for the effects to persevere. While a song can reach others better than others due to one’s personality and experiences, all those who witness his song will be affected. It is a potent ability, but it can also be an inconvenient ability that does not discriminate between friend and foe. Finally, he cannot affect himself in any way, one might still harm and kill him while he sings assuming he does not pacify them.
