Eleanor

Flesh seared, eyes boiled, her body lurged forwards as it burned. It hurt. Her nerves screamed at her as she fell. Pain... the pain was sweet. As soft as a cloud melting in her mouth, an exhilarating thrill hotter than the flames that ate at her form. To devour and be devoured. It had been so long.

What was left of her body crawled out of the pillar. Burnt flesh scrambled off and her organs bound together as they crawled on the ground. The blood that hadn't boiled away poured out onto the ground and pooled around her briefcase before slipping in. Within the contained it seized the grail, a Hint slipped into the cup, and a burbling voice spoke the words needed. Meanwhile the flesh warbled and continued to invoke the Knock against the demonic girl. Splitting her mind between two mediums and invoking two rituals at once was still not beyond her. How could she stop now? Things were becoming fun for once!

Jalut

Loud glugs could be heard throughout the cave, and once the barrel was done he smashed it on the ground with his fist, shaking the entire room. The vehement hatred spilled forth like a volcanic force. "SILENCE! It's your job to worry about that, not mine! If you're not going to rest like I graciously offered, scram and get to work!!"

Then he went back to drinking.

Orca

"Nah, not for free anyways." He flipped a bottle behidn the counter with his tail and opened it while pouring all at once, before serving her a glass. The penguin resting on the counter coughed up an ice cube or two, which landed on the cup, aaand served.

"The penguin comes with the drink." He told her with a flat face.

Eruraviel

Eru scowled at her. She idly considered just killing Amanda here for being a bother and figuring out a way to capture her soul. "Hmph. Childish. I don't believe for even a second you don't have a way to control it, child." Eru looked rather upset and agitated. She took a deep breath, and closed her eyes. "And I don't make light of my foes. I'll go at them full force and utterly annihilate them all." Magic began to crackle in the air in a display of might, arcs of lighting streaking across her skin.

Archer

In someways this just got better, but in others it got much worse, the former Counter Guardian thought right as Amanda sat on his lap.

Her aquamarine eyes looked into his and her voice was so soft, sweet, and pleading.

She needed help.

And despite everything, deep down, he was still Emiya Shirou and he could not say no to someone who needed help.

"I don't know how much help I'd be, but I'll help you the best that I can," he said as he found a smile spreading across his face.

The sharp, bitter smell of ozone filled the room.  In the corners of his eyes he could see power crackling like strikes of lightning across Eruraviel's skin.  Killing intent filled the air and Archer gently lifted Amanda off of him and stood in front of her.  He held out his hands and met her eyes.

"Eruraviel, Amanda isn't your foe.  In fact she's your best lead to finding them, besides, if you blow her up here chances are you'll take my shop out with her.  Which means, without my shop, I can't fix your device and you'll leave my cat and myself homeless," Archer said.

As if summoned, Tohsaka walked up behind Eruraviel and meowed loudly before rubbing against her legs with a purr.

Hannah

"Are you kidding me?" Hannah shouted in outrage at the realization that the bubbling corpse was still using magic. She would totally have her hands on her hips to demonstrate her indignation if she wasn't so focused on maintaining her barrier against the constant assault. "What are you, some kind of fleshy lich?! Ugh!"

How dare this Eleanor creature ruin her dramatic moment of finding her resolve at the impassioned encouragement of a potential love interest? Did it have no respect for the moment? Had Hannah been mistake in holding back so as to not completely annihilate it? Was that what she needed to do?

So she tried again. And again. Lightning, acid, even trying to wash Eleanor away, but it wasn't going how she wanted it to go. This stalemate was one Hannah would lose given time. "How are you doing this, anyway?!"

Noel Vermillion

Noel suddenly ran forward and grabbed Breeze in a hug as she exited the examination room. It seemed as if she'd been waiting to do so for a while and had been holding it in.

"Thank you, Breeze."

Auspicious Breeze

That just made all the paperwork worth it! She wrapped her arms around Noel and smiled. "Anytime, Noel. I couldn't just let someone bother you like that. Especially with that kind of attitude..."

Noel Vermillion

"Yeah, well... She was--she realllly reminded me of somebody I knew once... A really bad man." Noel shuddered as she remembered the events of that day. "Let's get going." She released Breeze and smacked her cheeks to wipe herself out of her funk. "We should get you a phone."

Amanda

"Hey it's true! I don't, I overdesigned it when I made it and now it's stuck like this, and I don't really fancy creating a feedback loop that blows me up if I tinker with it in the wrong way...."

Was she really going to blow them and the shop up? She didn't think the elf was that unhinged.

"And they'll be expecting up, based on the power I can see now you'd likely fail at a frontal assault." She gave Eru her honest assessment, the whole thing would fall apart if she didn't make sure they were aware of what they were dealing with.

"You on the other hand..."

She turned back on Archer.

"Are you just a walking mana battery? Cause I can see that your reserves are pretty big and you run this, surely you must be capable at something?"

It was completely out of the question that he had moved to this part and set up shop without knowing how to defend himself, unless he was a complete fool of course, which didn't seem likely based on how he had been acting up until now. Modest perhaps but not a fool.

Amser

"I know." She grabbed the glass and took a sip, utterly sure of where everything would be even with her eyes shut. Her vision slipped between the future and past as she drank and as she looked she was silent for a moment. Then she pulled back, turning her back to him as if assessing the damage done to the bar. "You are Orca, a bartender and information broker. Recently you and your shop were brutalized by a small redhead with a sword."

Amser paused for a moment to let the information sink in, swirling her drink. "These are things which cannot be undone. From the start you were doomed to come across them." Finally she opened her eyes, sparing him the slightest glance from over her shoulder. The air seemed unnaturally still, her eyes nearly glowing within the wreckage of the building.

"And you are fated to tell me of the Time Temple. Your price will be paid, so speak."

Orca

"Well, someone did her homework." He smiled and lit up a cigarette for himself, not minding anything like being polite or it being the wrong place or time to have a smoke break.

He took a deep huff of that smoke, smiling lazily before puffing it out. Tobacco was one of the few pleasures he had left, so he might as well enjoy it... with a smile.

"I know I'm fated to get my pay, I always do. You can't ask for something so expensive without bringing something in exchange. Hello? What kind of broker business strategy would that be? Give me a break..." He sounded tired of this already, and it had just begun! "Come on, I'm no haggling man so spit it out. Cash, green, money, dinero, whatever you call it."

Lighthart

Lighthart tilted her head, smiling before marchign forth with a resolute stride, her fierce grin even wider when she stepped by the demon, towering over her but without belittling her struggle. Perhaps her presence would make a more adequate emotional support and boos her morale, but little Hannah should know better than to expect such an interference.

Had this been the battlefield, she would be dead, and Eleanor not. Well, assuming she let that wretched thing be that is.

"Who knows? Perhaps she had once fallen victim to an immortality curse, or perhaps it is some illusion at work. Perhaps your attacks never reached her in the first place. There is only one correct answer, and figuring it out should make a good learning experience. Or perhaps would you like a hint?"

Charlotte

The blonde's attempts to answer her through the distraction that was the lizardman humping her ass were almost adorable. Wait no, scratch that, it was definitely adorable to watch. Deciding there was no harm in letting things continue for a while longer, Charlotte carried on with Nero, ignoring the way her ass was moving now.

"Is that so?" the gunslinger drawled, "Ain't it a bit soon for love, darlin'? I'd say we're still in the territory of friends or acquaintances, unless things move different round where you're from."

Nero

"What- mh~-  are you saying, is that not- oof- the same really?"

Unabashedly wiggling her body around now, the little empress did her best to keep focused, but alas, even one as she could not just shrug off a double dong stretching out her gate of babylon.

Charlotte

Charlotte smiled at the smaller blonde, reaching into a pocket and fishing about for a moment before pulling out a Q-tip.

"Unfortunately, that all ain't really the case where I'm from," the gunslinger drawled, patting Nero on the head with her free hand, "But tell ya what. How about we take care of that fella distracting you real quick, and then we can keep talking."

With that, the gunslinger dunked the Q-tip into the swill she'd been drinking to get it nice and wet before reaching around and sliding it right up the lizardman's ass, aiming for where she was certain would be the prostate on a creature of this size.

Lucy

The fallen angel blinked at the response. What did he mean by that? "Do you know what sealed them?" Maybe changing the approach would be the option for now, there would be no benefit in having him attack her right now. "If I know that, it would make it easier for me to free them, I could probably create something that could do it but only if I knew what I was dealing with..."

"it's better if you show me." Her voice could suddenly be heard despite her mouth not moving, it was more personal, originating directly in his mind.

Eruraviel

"Oh, he's suppper interesting." Eru answered with a smile. "I'd probably rate him about as strong as myself, in pure destructive output." The show of force faded away, and the elf sank down into a chair. I just can't get over how strange the Nexus is.

As if none of the confrontation ever happened, Eru smiled at them. She looked tired.
