He stared at her selection for a moment, as if intensely trying to read through something. "I suppose so." He walked up to the stand and tugged at the fabric curiously. "It is light, and keeps the joints free from constriction. This would ensure good mobility and flexibility, so moving around wouldn't be a problem."
For a moment, he paused. There was something oddly off about his way of thinking, but his tone was genuine and well meaning. "Shouldn't you seek something with more protection? It would be bad if your guard was low, this garment offers no defence. If you got hurt, it'd all be over. An armour would be more efficient... wouldn't it?"
"Erm, kid..."
He mused to himself, naively and obliviously, only to cock his head and stare at her expectantly.
