Elf:
Emiya
Emiya sighed as Tsumiko wandered away.
He gathered up the few makeshift "Bags" he had made and put them in the shadows. Then he moved to follow her. His heart was racing as he realized where he was heading.
The building was completely different, but even after all of this time, he'd know the feel of a place like this.
A place where he spent hours and hours, bringing his body to the verge of near death and surpassing his limits over and over again. He had tried so hard with very little. Hard work, determination, and stubbornness had gotten him surprisingly far.
He stared all of the replicas on the floor, his heart thundering in his ears. It was so familiar, but it shouldn't be here.
He frowned and said, "I'm surprised we can actually stand each other." He reached down and picked up one of the items, a random wrench, and studied it.

Tsumiko
"Hrm?" She turned to face him, before looking down at that wrench. Her face twisted. "That one's no good, it doesn't grip right."
She took the wrench away from him, tossing it into her shadow. "It's just a failure. But I don't really regret making stuff like that. Creating just feels-nice."
Elf:
Emiya
"I think the original must have been shoddy then. There are two things that I will spend money on if they're quality products: food and tools," Emiya said.
He nodded and said, "Creating . . . does feel good. Especially when you're not creating weapons . . ."
His fists clenched and then relaxed. He looked away and said, "Sometimes I wake up in the middle of the night, covered in sweat, and expect to be soaked in blood. Then I realize it was just a stupid dream."

Tsumiko
Tsumiko giggled, bringing her hand to her face and blushing. She turned away, reaching down and picking up a finely crafted sword, handing it to him.
"Making swords just feels-good." She told him. "They're so simple, so purposeful, so elagent. They're the epitome of class and beauty."
She wished that those dreams only happened every once in a while.
Elf:
Emiya
Emiya took the sword from Tsumiko, blinking slowly as he looked at it.
Her words struck a cord in him. He took a stance with the sword, a traditional one, not his normal, personal one. He said, "They are, you're right about that. There's just something about them that resignates in me, and probably you too."
And as I pray, Unlimited Blade Works.
He handed the sword back to her, handle first. "They can be used to kill, but they can also be used to save and protect," he said in an almost whisper soft voice.
