Entheo

Taking cover behind his beefy guardian, Entheo was able to see the big hardball form in the assassin's pants.  Gezo's guandao spun faster, slicing the bullets in two rather than merely deflecting them.  Is he getting off to this....?

But it was a grenade.

Oh thank god.  I mean Sakuyomi a grenade!

Sakuyomi simply attempted to kick the granade back, all while Entheo bent his knees, preparing for something.

Shinji

Shinji sighed, closed his eyes and flicked his finger back towards him, and just as the ghost's foot was about to smash into the grenade and throw it back at him, it pulled back ten centimeters away from the ghost and its blow... and stopped it midair, as if its momentum just vanished.

Thus it burst, releasing a deafening noise and a blinding blast of pure light.

And Shinji was gone.

Entheo

"Oh shit... what now?" Entheo asked aloud, stopping his jump.

It seems he vanished.

The two took a defensive stance, Entheo's back to Sakuyomi's, both of their guandao's were held at the ready, prepared for an assault in any direction.  Where Entheo looked right, Sakuyomi looked left.

So i'm betting he strikes from the bottom....

Do not play so much Entheo.  This one is slippery.

So your getting the top then?

Yes I say he will emerge from the ceiling.

Shinji

"Yare yare daze..."

The two were half right, Shinji was above. More precisely, he was resting his wounded body on top of the roof, just relaxing with his arms behind his back and feet above the other.  He wondered how long it'd take them to figure that out.

...Probably awhile. He'd let them simmer in their alert guard for a while.

Entheo

The two stood on alert guard, staring into each inch of the ruined church.  Perhaps he was hiding in the rubble somewhere.  It was a shame, a place of faith like this ruined from their battle.  People used areas such as this to grant them comfort for their loved ones.  It would probably take a lot of money to fix something like this.

He's not attacking.

He's waiting for us to lower our guard.

Entheo looked up while Gezo looked down.  You don't think he's just relaxing do you?

Don't be foolish.  He is probably looking for an opening.  Tighten your stance.  You have access to all of my skills!

Entheo looked down, while Sakuyomi looked up.  What if he went to take a snack break?

Silence.

Shinji

Shinji reached for his pocket and for a second the sun's light gleamed ominously over something shiny... could it be... a weapon?

No.

It was apple juice.

He took the straw out, poked it in the carton box, and took a quiet sip. He was surprised it didn't get completely busted in the fight. How convenient.

Entheo

Oh well, we probably won't be living here after this.

So then we are going to?

"Yeah," Entheo responded out loud.  For a final time, Entheo looked up as Gezo looked down.  A crescent moon like arc slashed through the ceiling, all while a similar one slashed through the ground.  The two had leaped into the air, delivering a flurry of these slashes to the floor and ceiling, ready to obliterate them both.  "Don't you take a snack break on me!"

You fool.  He's not taking a snack break!  What kind of warrior takes a snack break in the middle of a heated skirmish?!

Emiya

Emiya inwardly cringed at his careless words.

Instead he said, "So, which tea would you like to try?  I think you might like one of the Western teas actually."

Tsumiko

"Sure!" She chirped happily.

Emiya

"Well, I'll get the water on the stove.  One thing about Western tea is that you actually don't want the water boiling.  Just steaming with a couple of bubbles in it is good enough.  Too hot and it scorches the leaves," Emiya said as he started to get the tea kettle.

He filled it with filtered water and set it on the stove.

"While I'm getting that ready, why don't you start cutting the chicken?" he said as he gestured to the refrigerator.

Amanda

Amanda raised an eyebrow, perplexed about the outburst from the elf for a brief moment and then she smiled. "There's nothing noble about the disciplines about magic, tradition is by far the greatest thing bogging down magecraft as a whole. Magic is nothing but a means to an end, a tool to dissect reality. But knowledge for the sake of knowledge is pointless-"

"No, I seek something beyond knowledge. Everything else is immaterial, you are just a stepping stone towards it and so am I, even if I have to tear myself apart and remake everything I know to be true, I will do so gladly. Over and over, no matter how many times it takes."

"Heh...." Her smiled widened into maniacal glee and her eyes turned a pale purple as swirls of incomprehensible and forbidden knowledge thought lost among the shores of time came crawling forth from beyond the horizon.

"Ah I will find it and when I do- AHAHAHAHAHHA! OH it's so wonderful, the colors, the swirling tide and the truth that has been stranded and forgotten for so long has reemerged from the depths. OH I do wonder, what will happen now. What sad tidings will he bring? Or perhaps a calamity?"

Aruna

"Life force huh?" Aruna mused.  She really did sound like she was one of the old-timey demons, especially if she had such a blatant show of dominance.  The new age demon felt her heart sink as she lamented that lost lust for blood.  Although, there was a reason they did not engage in such behavior anymore.

Brown walls were illuminated by cozy lamps, decorated with a lavash counter top.  A single man stood behind the counter, trying his hardest to stifle his frown.  Three men huddled around a table.  One rested their head on the table while the other two fumbled with some cards.  The bartender tried his best not to look annoyed at the three men.  He was pretty sure they were driving away customers.  Ever since they came here, the place had been hallowed out.  If only they could go away somehow......

Meanwhile, Aruna and Destroyah stood on the top of the roof.  "Now heres the plan," she said.  "I shall cast a spell to open several portals.  You can go through the portal, land on one of them then BAM!"
Destoroyah:

"Ooh~?" The smile never left Destoroyah's lips.

She didn't trust her new found meal companion as far as she could throw her - and that is far. But she certainly wasn't a fellow Mahou Kaiju, and that places the skimpily-dressed horned woman below her. Well, the other Mahou Kaiju were also below her, but that's beside the point - this woman could do nothing to her. Even if the portal dropped her into the abyss, Destoroyah would claw her way back out and rip her apart. "This is going to be so much fun~!" The redhead exclaimed, a dangerous glint taking form in her eyes, "Let's do it~"

Aruna

Aruna leapt into her portal, which opened right above the bartender.  Dropping down silently behind him, she placed her hand over his mouth and dragged him under the counter.  Somehow, despite his screaming, there was not a single sound.  She stared upward, waiting to see how the girl would approach her hunt.

Eruraviel

Eruraviel was not happy. In fact, she was the stark opposite--displeased, hurt, and unsure of what to do going forward.

But, she could see something more going on with her fiancee. The familar strings that hid her delectable soul just out of reach were thrumming excitedly in ways she doubted Amanda was even aware of, and she could feel the newly aqquired forbidden knowledge that Amanda was dangling in front of her.

It excited her, and she could feel a oh so familar tightness in her loins that signaled proximity to great magic. Her cheeks flushed, and she cast a spell, creating a telepathic bond between her and her real lover. Something strange happened. She said quickly. Give me a moment longer, please.

She leaned forward, getting right into Amanda's face, and stared seriously. Her frown melted away into an inquisitive mask.

"Tell me what happened after I left yesterday, right now. What did you see?"

Sage

Sage seemed ready to pounce from her seat, to strike Amanda down now to secure her escape before the mad woman could strike-!

And then she settled down, a soothing Elven voice filling her mind with promises.

Be careful

Amanda

"Ah but who truly knows what lies beyond the palest fog of yesteryear but the watcher in the deep. Cursed are those who forever wander in the darkness aimlessly, however!"

She shot up straight like an arrow so fast that the chair almost fell backwards.

"Unfathomable are the horrors that come before, the jester will trick you and mislead you on the path. But brave through it all, the stormy seas and the maze of history and what you find..."

"Oh yes what DO YOU FIND?"

She spun three times around clockwise and then three times counter clockwise before coming to a stop at the end of the seventh step.

"What you find is the future and the next step on the journey. OH if only I had known sooner, so much potential wasted, but we are better now."

Eruraviel

Conquering mad wizard's towers from within is always difficult. You wouldn't understand, never having been an adventurer.
she would still be able to gain control of her
Eruraviel hopped backwards when Amanda began to spin, ready to fight her way out. Hoping she wouldn't have to, and that her lover would regain her sanity.

She clapped her hands, a perfect poker face, unscrutable and seemingly uncaring. She landed atop the tabel, staring at her. "And then what?"
