"Are you sure, the kitchen chairs are pretty comfortable," Emiya said as he gestured towards him.

Tohsaka, noting that his person was being a moron right now, chortled before rubbing his head against Tsumiko's palm.

Tsumiko

Tsumiko gently picked up the cat, holding him in her lap as she stroked his back. Weirdly, she felt a tinge of annoyance at the appearance of the cat in the back of her head.

"Yeah." She answered quietly.

Emiya

Dinner was a simple yet delicious affair.  The cake turned out very well and the curry rice was perfectly cooked.  Tohsaka did his job and leaned against Tsumiko while doing his best motor impression.  Emiya only had to throw him off the table twice during dinner.

As he cleaned up the table, he looked at Tsumiko and said, "Now, we don't have to get your things tonight if you don't want to.  I can still get your room started, if you just want to rest."

7:00 pm

"I want... to get my things." She looked around nervously, as if afraid of a trap. She was really wondering if this was real. She was waiting to wake up, and find out she'd dreamed everything good.

It wouldn't be the first time she'd had such a vivid dream.

The white haired man nodded and said, "Then lets go get your things.  You just need to tell me where to go."

He noticed Tsumiko getting nervous again.  He reached down to pet her head.  "You're safe now.  Like I said, a Mach 3 sword going through someone would be pretty much enough to kill anything."

Vega

The flames reflected over his eyes. Ravenous, paasionate. They weren't even looking at the prize before him, but the promise of even greater heights.

"You are an interesting woman."  He said, from the bottom of his heart.

Let's meet again, o warped flower. And with that, he took a step back and plummeted into the flames, a smile etched on his face while the circus burned.

November 1634, a grand fire devoured the streets of spain. The country's greatest performing troupe was at the center of it all, and from all the performers and spectators, 63 died and 158 were greatly injured.

Among them, a boy dissappeared, never found or identified. At the time, he would've been 13.

6:00 pm.

The boy woke up, a confident smile on his face.

The white haired man nodded and said, "Then lets go get your things.  You just need to tell me where to go."

He noticed Tsumiko getting nervous again.  He reached down to pet her head.  "You're safe now.  Like I said, a Mach 3 sword going through someone would be pretty much enough to kill anything."

The girl just shook her head. "I can do that too. I've seen some things."

Mira

6:00 PM

Vega woke to a familiar ceiling. To his right was one of his maids, and to his left was a pretty face, obviously bored out of her mind as she sat next to his bed watching him sleep. Mira sighed in relief when she noticed him stirring. "Finally. I thought you were going to sleep all night."

She hadn't bothered fixing or replacing her torn tank top yet. Her muscles were obvious.

Vega

His eyes turned to the woman on his left. "And I thought you'd have left me lying there in the woods after beating me to a pulp. I suppose life is full of surprises." He yawned and tried to stretch, but surprisingly his body screamed in pain, and he winced before setting down, his bandaged back smooth against the bed's frame.

"My oh my, you do pack a punch. It feels like I was run inside a meat grinder. You must be lonely if this is how you... Ow, treat every man who meets you. Say, won't you be a dear and fetch me a mirror? Oh, and wine. The Sauvignon, 1984 to be precise. And bring two cups."

[Aiden]

Mira

Mira scoffed, and waved Vega's request aside with a shake of her head. "You got a maid for that. Don't tell people to get stuff they don't even know where to look for."

Then she grinned down at him.

"I gotta say though, you put up a hell of a fight. If I'd been any slower or squishier, you'd have won."

Vega

"Hoh? You pummel me to unconsciousness, and you won't even fetch me a cup to drown my sorrows in? You grow crueller by the second..." His smile was absolutely wicked as he snapped his fingers. His maids must've tended to his wounds, so it was to be expected they'd listen closely for any orders.

It was ill suited for him to repeat something twice, such actions were oh so very useless. Useless, useless, useless...

"And you fought well." He looked at her warmly from the comfort of his bed. "Even the greatest beasts I have clashed against were a trifle compared to your strength and technique. In fact, if I knew any better, I'd call you one myself. But it is the thorniest rose that often brings the most pleasant aroma. Tell me, what was that the meaning of that shine you showed me?"

[Elf]

Emiya

The white haired man nodded and said, "I bet you have."

We both probably have seen things that would send most of the idiots out side screaming into padded rooms, Emiya thought but didn't voice it.

He did smile at her and said, "Well, maybe you shouldn't have to shoot swords at Mach 3 at people.  Come on, let's go get your things."

Tohsaka jumped on the table with a loud, "MAOW!" 

Emiya sighed, picked up the cat, and said, "Not on the table, buddy.  You know the rules."

Tsumiko

The short purple-haired woman sighed. She pressed her palm down on the floor. An inky black shadow billowed out from.her hand, consuming the floor and then creeping up the wall. She reached out with her other hand. "I'll take us there, but don't let go, ok?"

Emiya swallowed as he saw the all too familiar shadow emerge from the floor.

He took Tsumiko's outstretched hand, his hand coarse and unnaturally warm against hers.  "I assume it would go very badly for me if I did," he drawled before swallowing the lump currently forming in his throat.

[Aiden]

Vega

"You don't got anything to be sorrowful about, kid." Mira crossed her arms over the back of the chair she was sitting on the wrong way, and smirked down at Vega. She pointed right to the ear that was missing an earring. "You managed to get this off me. That's more than most."

But his question, that seemed to make her confused. She tilted her head slightly.

"I think you're overthinking this a bit. I just put it all in because you showed me you wouldn't shatter the moment I hit you."

Vega

The young man laughed warmly. "Yes, yes! I realize that, little flower. But that doesn't bother me at all. As somebody once said: Today's defeat is just tomorrow's victory." As he said that, he opened his hand to reveal, to his surprise, that he was still holding onto that thing. Amused, he flicked it and tossed it in the air before catching it nonchalantly.

The earring was a trifle. It's your head I wanted. But oh well.

"I wasn't talking in metaphors, you know? Or did you think I wouldn't be able to notice something like that? That light that came out of your body... it was just for a moment, but something about it struck me as odd..." He pondered for a moment, without a hint of malice in his voice. "Is that also why your ear is suddenly all patched up? No matter, you don't have to answer that if you don't want to."

He paused for a moment. There was a dark chill in the air, but surely the windows were all closed. Despite that, it vanished in a moment, and Vega looked at her with the most dazzling of smiles.

"It would be appreciated though."
