All this talk was really starting to weigh on Roman's mind.  What did she see in him?  Roman considered himself at least average looking, if not slightly handsome.  Although he was fully aware that he simply wanted to perceive himself as attractive when he thought about himself like that.  Just because he put himself in high regard appetence wise didn't mean other people did.  Personality wise, he couldn't imagine anything being particularly attractive, especially to a supposedly ancient king.

Before he could think too hard on it, he felt a finger to his face.  Flailing his arms, he stumbled back, taken by surprise by the unexpected strength.  Collecting himself, he turned to Yusho, walking her closer to him and said,

"This is my martial arts teacher and mentor Yusho.  We haven't known each other for long, but he is one of the kindest people i've met and a great fighter.  Apparently he...."

Actually its probably best that I leave out his relationship with Valarie...

Yusho

He looked at Roman, and his eyebrows struggled to climb up the steep surface of his forehead. Until this moment, Yusho wasn't sure his beleaguered student could be so flattering. He even sounded like he meant it, which conjured up a trickle of satisfaction to warm his veins.

Of course, the faithful gesture didn't do much for the nature of the young man's mouth, which seemed to be to wag until it managed to speak something awkward, damning, or both. Clearing his throat, Yusho placed himself shoulder-to-shoulder with Roman and nodded in greeting.

"An honor to meet another of the Vampire King's entourage," he said. "Miss... Emilia, is it?"

Nika

The willingness to "cheat" was an admirable quality in such a freestyle competition, but maybe it was too late to reverse Sakura's fortunes.

Avoid the ground at all cost.

Such was the nature of the older vampire's craving. Never be dragged down, neither in motion nor in grapple. To be stopped and pinned down was tantamount to unbelievable misfortune. These subconscious obsessions about her art manifested imperfectly in the clash with reality, but gave her quite firm advantage nevertheless as part of her cursed lineage.

Sakura's attempt to turn the situation around was in naught. The other vampire withstood the brunt of the sudden pushback and barely budged. There was barely any reaction to Sakura's action, Nika's footing more firm than it had any right to be.

Nika would try to finish the grapple and pin Sakura down in spite of her attempts to turn this around, but she was getting slowly hungier. Her body after all braced herself unconsciously to shrug off the momentum, and she couldn't afford fucking around for too long. Submission holds and anything related to choking obviously was rather ineffective for people with heightened pain tolerance like vampires, so she chose a pinning hold.

Taro?

Taro let out a soft yawn as he awoke from his nap.  He glanced down at the couch.  Forest had been sleeping with him the whole time.  Those normally sharp crimson eyes softened and he stood up and walked towards his closet.  Underneath the layers of weapons, torture devices and other things he had collected in his spare time was a hidden drawer, a blanket.  He let the comforting cloth droop over his arm as he walked back to Forest.  With a flourish, he guided the blanket down onto her sleeping body.

"Don't wake up too soon," he whispered to her.  "Rest is important to those of us who are so old.  You've done enough today.  Sleep."

Emilia

"Yeah that's me!!"

Thud.

Her hand was already there to catch Roman by the shirt before he stumbled too far back. "I told you to introduce me, Surely you must know lots and lots about me, And he what? Fucked Val? I can vaguely smell her on him, you'd have a harder time pointing to a guy she haven't jumped, she's a lot pickier about girls though..."

"Come on, I ain't got all day, do a good enough job Roman and I might reward you... And for the record I don't play around with cute boys as much as the King does hehe..."

Roman's face heated up as he realized his mistake, his heart thumping and his ego shattered into pieces.  Although since it was already broken, those pieces simply split into more pieces, creating a puzzle that could never be finished.  Still stumbling back, he felt her dainty hand grip his shirt.  Between her words, the outfit that exposed her body just enough to rouse his imagination and the actual memory of her porn, he couldn't help but be overclocked by her brief touch.  His heart, already thumping pounded his chest.

Reward?

Turning to Yusho he said, "Yeah uhh this is Emilia.  She's an idol and...."  The blood red face somehow darkened beyond that.  "Well she's not a pornstar persay but she hires people to make porn of her I think....  Honestly, don't really know how it works, but basically people make porn of her and she kinda endorses it?"

He couldn't look at her anymore.

Yusho's forehead furrowed disarmingly, pinching the skin between his eyes as his brows curled. How was he supposed to take that? The mighty and famed usually had no shortage of compromising, queer, or debauching hobbies, but this sounded kind of blasphemous too. Sex gods were, in his experience, a vernal-looking yet jaded bunch, but they didn't exactly conduct the business of veneration over pornography. Could he count this vampire as a highly prestigious sex worker then? Roman certainly acted like it, but it wasn't as if he had the expectations of a saint towards his student. Unless he was of the sort to offer all his worldly possessions to an object of idolization.

"That must be the most sexual kind of idolatry I've heard of," he said, mildly scratching at his beard. Reaching out an arm, he steadied Roman too. "Moderation, Roman."

Sakura found herself outmatched, and forced down onto the ground. "You're pretty good at fighting-a fair bit stronger than me, too."

Sakura hopped back up and chuckled. Her clothes writhed with black magic, reformating into something more sporty and comfortable. "Nothing, frankly. I was basically just wandering around when I met you."

"Your clothes can transform?" She raised her eyebrows at this trick. "Some magic or tech progressed since I went to sleep?"

She could probably imagine applications in a sparring, like to catch off guard someone who doesn't expect for example a make shift rope from a fiber pulling them towards their opponent. Why Sakura held back about using such tricks?

"Your clothes can transform?" She raised her eyebrows at this trick. "Some magic or tech progressed since I went to sleep?"

"Hohohoho..." Sakura chuckled. Her mirth rippled through her body, and she raised her hand to her mouth as she chortled. "Magic. I'm a mage more than a wrerstler. It's basically my hobby."

"A hobby? Can't say I get why you're not dedicating yourself more to it, but your call. I just like collecting memorabilia as a hobby. Especially militaria. And fashion's great too." Nika pulled up her hoodie to nonchalantly reveal the concealed Colt handgun. "That one's for the muggers not worth my time. But I doubt they will have guts to go against me after that display."

"Mh? It's because magic's my real strength. I like working out my body and honing my mind, it helps me think." Sakura stopped before snapping. Her shadow pulsated, and a shadow monster erupted from her shadow, writhing underneath her feet. "We could have another go, if you wanted to."

Her red eyes gleamed with pride.

"I'd rather celebrate the Round 1 with a drink, as much as my heart and soul tell to have another go."

Thrilled about facing Sakura again rather than phased by the implicit threat of the creature, her smile looked downright savage with the fangs fully bared. But her sense of aesthetics revolted against just rushing into the fray.

"I'm annoyed but this scenery. Going all out under the rays of the sun? The night is our domain and our birthright. There is no proper time than when the night is still young. Name the place and I'll be there by the midnight."
