"No she won't but-" Alice said as she pushed away the grabby hands that were feeling her up. "That's quite enough, we should get you up to speed on the various factions at play here and more importantly, you'll gonna have to make choices..."

The tall blonde suddenly took a step forward to create some distance between them and then turned around to face her before she continued speaking. "Most importantly who you're gonna be friendly with and who'll you'll not be, choices you make now will have consequences for a long time. That's why it's important you think about what you really want, before you try to suck up to too many people, unless you wanna end up with no one trusting you."

Sakura

Sakura grinned at Alice. She was being underestimated by her senior. Of course, she knew this already. Even in a liberal monarchy such as this one, she knew that in order to climb to the top, she needed two things: connections, and the ability to produce results. Of the latter, she was confident in her ability to do so. Of the former, she felt that Valerie herself was insufficient, as well as the general feeling that she was simply around as eyecandy.

She didn't like that, and wanted to find someone whom she could both get along with and be taken seriously by.

"You are the first of the nobility I've made contact with beyond Valerie herself." Sakura replied. She nervously ran her fingers through one of her curls and put on a confident face which would fool a stage magician. "I want to be taken seriously, and I want to become a powerful enough mage to reunite with my sister. That's all."

Forest

"There was a time where I almost did burn out."

Forest closed her eyes and sighed with a shake of her head.  "I don't think I was truly suicidal, but I was careless.  Unhappy.  Depressed.  Lonely and unwanted, or at least I felt like I was unwanted."

Alice

"Then you've come to the right place Lady Sakura, such heartfelt passion must be returned in kind, and thus I will gladly help you with finding your sister!"  She puffed her massive chest up in an act to alleviate the mood before it become too sour,mmissing family could be pretty messy.

"But you say you need power for it, why's that?"  Is she held in a faraway dungeon as the plaything of terrible orcs who make her do unending Jenga??" Alice took a step closer while maintaining a look of serious worry, there was no fate more terrible than the one she had described of that she was sure. Or could it be that she was just acting and pulling Sakura's leg?

Taro

Taro began stroking her hair and said,  "Do you still feel like that?"

Forest

"Something happened that made me become more careful," Forest said as she leaned into the duke's touch.

Taro

"What an odd answer.  It doesn't answer my question," he said, closing his crimson eyes.  The rubbing was starting to mess up Forest's hair, but Taro didn't care.  He kept going.  "You say it made you more careful but that doesn't mean your not burnt out.  Are you?"

"Oh, nothing like that!" Sakura waved her hand in front of her own face while shaking her head. "She's not in any sort of danger like that-although she's probably more difficult to get to than if it were something straightforwards like that."

Sakura's lips curled slightly downwards into a frown. "She's not in this dimension. And as far as I can tell, I'll need to spend a long time working on perfecting my magic to be able to open a gate to come and get her."

Forest

The blonde sighed and said, "It's . . . kind of hard to put into words."

She bit her lip and shook her head.  "Yes, I do feel burned out.  Like I like doing things for others and saving people, but I never really do anything for myself that isn't superficial."

Taro

Taro grabbed the coller of her shirt and opened it up so he could stare at her cute chest while she talked.  "Hmm yes thats why I found it strange.  You talk about it like it is in the past, but in reality you still feel that way.  What do you mean.  You had sex with me, got a job and are now in the middle of a major life choice.  What are you looking to do for yourself?"

Forest

Blood filled her cheeks as Taro opened her shirt to look at her chest.  She looked around, making sure that anyone wasn't around and relaxed somewhat.

"Right now?  Survive.  This isn't my world.  This isn't my place.  I lost everything I had when I got sucked here."  She tilted her head and said, "Even though, letting Valerie turn me could give me something I want."

Taro

Taro continued to stare at her chest from the best angle: behind.  "A baby.  Is that what you mean?  Or do you mean a family?"

Forest

"Family all around.  I already raised one child on my own, and he turned out pretty good." 

Forest raised her eyebrow and said, "A harem of attractive men wouldn't be so bad either."

Taro

"You want a harem?"  Taro said, tilting his head.  "If thats all you want I can get you that."

Forest

Forest stared at Taro for a moment then giggled.  "You're not going to get all possessive?  Like if I wanted a harem of attractive men to tend to me, you'd go get me that without qualm?"

One hand began reaching into his pocket and pulled out a phone.  "I want to be the number one man, but other than that I don't care.  You can fuck whomever you want, but I want to be loved the most.  Now whats your type?"
