Elf:
Forest

"You really want to back that thought up unless you really want to become food for the crows," Forest said as she noticed a small group of homeless men approaching.

They were watching her rather intently, with an expression she had seen far too many times.  An expression that caused ice to form in her gut that slowly churned to anger.  She warned them, if they tried anything else then they'd better pick a god and pray, because hers would give her permission to tear them apart.

Homeless Men

The few men who had approached stopped about two arms away from Forest.  Despite their clothes looking dirty, none of them had a particularly offensive oder.  In fact, their skin looked smooth.  One man pointed to the giant in her arms.

"es he okay?" he asked, balling his fist.  Little veins formed on his forearm.

"My blood though!  Wha about ma blood?!" the other man shouted.  "I didn't do any drugs today man!"

Elf:
Forest

Oh, Lord and Lady, he probably helps these people out, she thought as she looked at the sleeping man in her arms.

Forest flashed the lead of the group a smile and said, "Sorry . . . that was rather brash of me.  He's just exhausted that's all."

She frowned at the man shouting about drugs and stared at him.  She tilted her head and asked, "Wait, drugs can work on you?"

Homeless man

"Don't worry about ol Jimmy!" the one in front said, smiling back once he realized the man was still alive.  "He's no vampire.  Fur some reason when we feed on him we get sick er die!"

Old Jimmy took another step forward. Despite him being described as old, he looked to be in his 30s tops.  Then again, he had a pretty sick hobo beard, crawling down beyond his chin.  His body was skinny and clearly malnourished, his ribcage visible through a small hole in what remained of his dress shirt. "MA BLOOD!  WHAT AM I GUNNA DO WITHOUT MA BLOOD!"

The dirty bodies on the floor opened their eyes, all their attention on Forest.  Some of them shook a little bit, some still rattled from her threat earlier, others simply having anxiety attacks.

Elf:
Forest

"Then I'd suggest not feeding on him," Forest said as she looked at the literal crazy hobo.

"Well, good day, I suppose," the blonde said as she moved to get to the Apartment building.
