Vampire District

Elf:
Forest

Interesting, Forest thought as she entered the apartment.  Even if Mr. Bloodbender hadn't been a vampire, he had still invited her to his home.  So she had no problem crossing the threshold.

She tilted her head at the odd mixture of wall decorations.  There was fine art prints, photos of gorgeous actresses, and she recognized some of the superheros on the wall as well.  She eyed the giant couch, the TV, and the video game console, but didn't see any games near it.

She saw the two other doors and thought, Well one of these would have to lead to the bedroom.  Then she went to the door on the left and opened it.

yinsukin:
The Bedroom

The bedroom was pretty barebones.  A simple king sized bed, nightstand, dresser and closet with a door leading to a personal bathroom.  Perhaps what could be called strange is how neat it was.  The bed was perfectly made and there was nothing on anything, the floor, dressers or even the bed itself.

Knock. Knock. Knock.

Someone was at his door.

Elf:
Forest

Forest gently laid Ryan on his bed and even took off his shoes.  Her stomach knotted up at the act.  It was strangely intimate, even if she didn't tuck him under the covers, but she was still putting him to bed and taking off his shoes.

Once she got him situated she heard a knock on the door.

Swallowing, she walked to the door and opened it, her hand creeping towards her gun just in case.

yinsukin:
Mary

The door swung open, only to reveal the girl in the white dress, staring at Forest dumbstruck.  How did she figure out where he lived?  She lied.  Did Ryan tell her the room?  The girl put her hand on Forest's shoulder, attempting to glance over her shoulder at Ryan.

The girl in the white dress stood behind a bar counter, running her fingers along the splintered wood.  Those fingers, forever yearning for the presence of another, something to grasp, only found the cold mug of beer.

"So can I get that refill?"

The girl looked up, only to see a giant of a man, clad in a tight T shirt that wrapped around his buldging biceps.  Her gaze traveled up those sculpted arms, around that huge chest and up towards those golden eyes.  "Uhh.... yeah sorry..."

"Forget it...." the man said, getting up from his seat and walking towards the door.

The girl clutched the empty mug, ignoring the liquid pouring down the side and sliding onto her soft skin.  "Sorry..." she whispered.

Another customer sat down at the counter, looking her in the eye.  The man reached into his pocket and whispered, "Guess what?  I've got a gun in here."  The jet black metal of the barrel flashed softly in the warm light of the bar.  But no one else seemed to notice as it sunk back into his jacket.  "Now how about we go in the back and you can take care of me."

All of the sudden, a shadow loomed over both of them.  It was that man, standing over the one with the gun.  "Actually, I think i'll take that beer."

"Excu-"

A hand around the back of his head, the assailants, face twisting up as it anticipated pain.  He tried to turn around to aim the gun but he was too slow.  With the simple flick of his wrist, the man was tossed through a wall, leaving spider web cracks and a man sized hole in the side of the bar.  "Put the price for the wall on him."

Another man came up behind the big man.  "Enough.  Don't cause a scene here for no reason!"

"Sorry Scott.  I just really wanted my beer."

That was the first time they met.  Mary still never learned what his job was, other than it was dangerous.  He didn't know it at the time, but she was a vampire too damn it!  Just because she worked at a bar in another district didn't mean she was a weaker vampire or anything.  She could take care of herself!  What made this girl so special anyway?

Elf:
Forest

Forest watched as Mary attempted to catch a glimpse of Ryan over her shoulder.

Ah, well that bloody explains a lot then.  He was her Knight in Shining Armor, Forest thought as she saw the crystal clear memories in the girl's head.

The little vampire girl was a bartender somewhere else.  Someone had threatened her just to attempt to rape her.  Then Ryan came in all bulging muscles and good intentions.

Aye, that makes sense for her to be smitten.  Also tells me that Mr. Bloodbender has a bit of a hero complex as well, she thought.

She smiled at the girl and asked, "May I help you?  Or are you just going to try to stare around me?"
