Umbra of Chaos:
Joseph

Perfect timing too! Joseph gave the twitching body on his slab a good shove, letting it slide into the cultivation pit with a small splash. Then he slipped off his bloodstained gloves and dumped them into a bin. There was still a good bit of red smeared on his chin from when he rubbed it earlier, but that was hardly a problem.

"We can probably work with food. That'd probably be the best bet. Give it a slow time for full activation and then suddenly there's an epidemic. I think I did that once..." He turned around to face the lich, although the look on his face was more befuddled and confused than respectful as he pondered his own memories.

Aiden:
Serana

The elven corpse sauntered her way in and began to circle tightly around the petite, patchwork person to whom she'd given patronage. She seemed keen to examine him from every angle, and her cold fingers hovered oh so closely over his head and shoulders as she passed. "Such a wonderful idea you have. But such a terrible fate you seem to labor under!"

She sounded so concerned at this, and her face was full of compassion. "You crumble from within, struggling to retain yourself. But here you are still, doing such wonderful things."

Serana's other hand motioned to the pit he had just made use of.

His smile, which could remain in place even after someone had blasted a hole through his head, vanished. "Yes... it is unfair."

The words came slowly to him now, as if he had to think over each one carefully before voicing it. But very quickly he seemed to regain his cheer, even as his concentration lapsed. Like rotting sludge, his right eye dripped out from its socket and all but popped on hitting the ground. But in between blinks a new one had already replaced it. "That's what all this is for after all! I don't want to spend the rest of eternity suffering like this, not knowing when Judgement will come. I want to live without pain."

Aiden:
Serana

"Have you tried dying? I can correct that easily enough." But then she sighed, and shook her head while one of her hands came to rest atop Joseph's chest from behind. "No, I suppose that would be a far too obvious and simple solution. Such a conundrum..."

Her skin seemed to radiate a necrotic power that promised the cessation of sensation - forever. It was almost narcotic.

Umbra of Chaos:
Joseph

"I can't." He voiced that with the simplicity of a normal human talking about how they couldn't fly. "To live forever and eternally degrade until the time of Judgement. Besides, I don't want to die. Or be reanimated either."

The alchemist pouted. "I want to live. I want happiness for all the time I've spent like this."
