"HEY WHAT THE FUCK!?"

Entheo looked back at the man shaking his fist in anger.  Landing on the top of a truck, the young man shrugged his shoulders, mouthing I'm sorry to the middle aged man in the car.

You think this is a trap?

Do you even need to ask?  I said be careful for a reason.

Feet lacked along the top of the truck before Entheo hopped onto a car.  Bouncing like a spring, he went from car to car, making a Z line with his path.  Entheo's palms began to glow.  He doubted he could catch the thing.  Instead, he'd have to use the passing technique.

Is the guy still here?

I'll keep an eye out.  For now, cast it!

Entheo pointed his finger at the stray soul, attempting to capture it in a tractor like beam of light.

The Wayward Soul

The assailant was fast. Too fast. He blurred way ahead of Entheo from vehicle to vehicle like a shadow, with steps as light as air. But despite of that, or maybe because of that, it kept glaring at the kid who was so far behind.

A gold coin shined between its warped, shadowy digits.  As it zigzagged atop another car, it turned to look ahead and threw the coin with the skill and power of a master among assassins.


There wasnot even a boom or a warning to predict the golden bullet. It cracked against a car's tire and blew it away completely - and caused it to swerve at high speeds against an oil tanker. The two collided right in front of Entheo, and caused another truck to swerve in panic. The beam was blocked, and worse, the traffic had just gotten disrupted! The collliding vehicles exploded, and those who tried to avoid the lines of fire swerved away and fell from the highway... into their dooms. Fiery explosions were starting to boom right in front and around the kid.

And the soul was only getting further and further away.

Entheo he's fast be careful.

Relax I got- oh.

It all happened too fast to stop.  The young man looked up, before his form was swallowed by the ensuring explosion.  Several explosions echoed the first, firing off around the first like firecrackers.  Entheo emerged from the flames, shooting out of the smoke like a bullet flying through clouds.

Shit that hurt.

We lost time ducking under the highway.  Keep moving.

Entheo landed a mile away from the explosion, staring up at the orbs floating into the sky.  Damn.  This guy is an asshole, killing all these people just to get to us.

Forest

"I know how that is, trust me , I bloody know how that is," Forest said with a smile as she banked hard, feeling the wind whip through their shared hair.

She noticed that they were coming upon some highway and she made note of it so she could drive here later.  Well, once they do repairs, she thought dryly as she saw an explosion.  Or rather, multiple explosions.

"Well, I think we may need to see what's going on and see if anyone's hurt," Forest said to Thorra as she started to make her decent.

Entheo

Entheo clasped his hands together, his entire being glowing a faint orange light.  The light spread to all the glowing orbs shooting into the sky.  To normal eyes, it would just look like a young man praying in the center of a highway, his body covered in the soot and grime leftover from the explosion that killed these people.  However, in reality, he was helping them pass on, sent to the great beyond.

"I hope you enjoyed your deaths," he said with a smile, staring up at the sky with a wistful glint in his eye.

Thorra

Forest's weapon grunted affirmatively, this time in her own high-pitched voice. "It wouldn't be right not to." She repied. They circled above him, and they could both feel the divine power from him. Despite what it looked like, Thorra knew he was powerful in some manner.

"I hope you enjoyed your deaths?  As someone who's been there and done that, death isn't really that enjoyable," Forest said as she touched down. She looked at the young man who looked like he was praying in the middle of the explosions with a raised eyebrow.

Well, I don't want to go in punching if he's just some weirdo worshiping a death deity, you ken? Forest sent to her new friend.

Behind you.

Entheo turned around, his icy blue gaze focused on the empty road behind him before shifting upward at the woman floating down to greet him.  Big breasts, muscles and a very nice set of abs and a hammer.

Is that fucking Thor?

I thought Thor was a man.

There is a girl Thor.

You know, body wise, she reminds me of that nun I fu-

Dude can you not right now?

Just say something cute, it will be fine.

Entheo smiled at the blond woman's comment, the orange light sinking back into his body.  Entheo maintained his smile, chuckling a little bit at her comment.  "Well that's because your still alive.  Painful memories can grow found with time.  I don't know if Thor should be commenting on death."

Thorra

Forest could acutely feel Thorra's immediate stress reaction at being mistaken for her father. It was like needles were prickling their shared mind, and her own heart began to hurt a bit. The girl began to take deep breaths to calm herself down. "Thinking I'm Thor-how rude! How can someone be so foolish, mistaking someone as small as myself as my father. What in the world is wrong with the people in the Nexus, not knowing Thor is a man..."

Well, remember when I was telling you about the movies, books, and comic books?  Well, for a while there was a Lady Thor.  Thor became unworthy to wield Mjölnir in the comics and his ex-girlfriend was deemed worthy until he got his shit together.  Right now we probably are like a fan boy's bloody wet dream.

Then Forest gave the mental equivalent of a tiny hug to her partner.  And don't sell yourself short, Poppet.  You're amazing and you don't have to live in your da's shadow.  Just be yourself and I bet both of your fathers would be right proud of you.

Aloud, while resting Thorra on her shoulder, she said, "Oh, I'm not Thor.  I'm Pictish, not Norse, and I know quite a bit about being dead and undead."

She gestured to the explosion and said, "You didn't cause that bit of carnage, did you?"

Entheo put his hands behind his head, sighed and said, "Well I did but I wasn't really trying to do it.  I was trying to save one guy, then this explosion happened and so now I'm trying to take care of all these other guys."

She sure is acting like Thor.  You'd think he would act more powerful ya know? Entheo whispered in his mind.

Maybe this is like the comic book version. Sakuyomi Gezo sent back.

"How could Thor not be worthy of my mother? She's literally made for him! Ugh.

As a telepath, Forest was very used to carrying on two conversations - one mentally and one vocally - at once.

To Thorra she sent, Apparently he really cocked things up.  He got better though.  Heroes generally always get better in comics after a little while.

"So, what happened to the guy you were trying to save?" Forest asked the young man with a cocked eyebrow.

Entheo foled his arms behind his head, glancing away from her gaze.  "Well, I guess saving is the wrong word.  I got him right here," he said, holding out his hand.  Within his open palm a blue orb rested.  Of course unless she could see souls she wouldn't see anything.  "Its time for him to pass on.  I didn't get to hear his last wishes before he died but.... I think he had a good life.  People don't scream like that unless they really want to live."

Your being way too honest, Sakuyomi chimed in.

You think so?

What are you going to do if she can't see it?

I don't know, move on?  Its not like I owe some thor cosplay girl anything.

Forest frowned as the handsome young man extended his empty palm to her.  Yet she heard his words and folded her arms across her now ample chest.  Most people don't go around saying that they have the soul of some bloke in their hands.  Others would think they've gone completely around the bin if they had, she thought.

"So you were chasing this soul and there was some explosions?" she asked as she started to peer into his mind.
