Dear god... this was bad! Terrible! There was no doubt, that was not Forest. It was much, much worse. Without being aware he must have contacted the debt collectors! Of all the things he would have avoided encountering at all costs, this was the worst of them.
And now, they were employing their tricks in order to swindle his money away, his meagre war funds! Now, they were trying to seduce him into offering them his hard earned money. Not a chance, those wicked harlots would not touch a penny. Not a single one!
Sweat was dripping from his face. He couldn't hang up now. If he did, they would know he was trying to evade his taxes. If he was discovered, they would surely report him! But this was a horrible situation for Richard.
But unlike before, he had Michael at his side. He could sell him for a quick buck or two, enough to escape from his debt. But something was wrong, something didn't add up...
What if it was once again a ruse employed by Forest? Maybe, just maybe he was over-thinking things. After all, Forest was clever! She would know that he would discover such a simple ruse with ease. Or perhaps that was part of her plan! He shook his head. The more he thought of it, the more it all became clear.
These two were not debt collectors or vampiric underlings, but two bums who most likely operated a sex-line in order to make a buck or two. They were but victims of the system, just like him. But that woman... she obviously knew Forest. Then it meant that she-

Yes, it all made sense. Of course that woman was looking for Forest. She must have requested their services but refused to pay up. If that was the case, they were surely justified to look for her. Smiling, Richard sighed in relief. He must have worried for nothing.
"Hey, are you still there?" Richard called out, trying to contact that woman once again.
