Vanguard
No, it might not be wise because it could get us killed. Does she seriously value a girl's sentiments over her own life?
Vanguard shrugged. While he did wish to go outside in order to catch a glimpse of Faust's killer, he had no 'reason' to. As far as Sakura's protector was concerned, leaving would only distress Sakura. While such a thing was of no concern to him, he did not outright wish for her to grieve. Or rather, such grievance served no purpouse any longer.
For now, what mattered was her safety and the assuredness that she would cooperate. All other goals were only secondary.
"I would not object to laying down my life for this wonderful purpouse. On the other hand dying a useless death does not sound like a very efficent plan of action. Rin, would you have any suggestions?"
Tohuw Balagan
"Yessir!" The demon cheered before flicking his fingers. He could no longer contain his excitedment, so much his tail tore trough his pants and cracking like a whip. It was an oddly shaped tail, black as night and slithering around like a serpent.
The demon was not standing any longer with his legs but was only using his tail as support to stand straight in a fashionable pose.
"This might sting a little." He grinned before twirling his cane around, holding it like a pool stick and thrusting it in the middle of the poor girl's chest. As soon as the cane's tip made contact with Medaka, a scarlet light flashed. A short burning sensation, then nothing at all.
Iit passed trough her body and pushed what could only be described as her spirit away. There was no wound, no visible harm shown. Aside the crimson crest forming where she was tainted, there would be no trace of this.
Tohuw almost pitied her. From this moment forward, she would never be able to call herself a normal human girl any longer. But there was no place for pity in his heart full of black joy, he ever had a heart to begin with.
He was quite overjoyed at the thught of having a new toy to play with. His smile was wider and more gleeful than before, revealing a set of moon white teeth.
Swiftly and cleanly, he pulled the cane out and dragged her soul away from her. From this moment forward, she was his furniture, his toy, his jester and his muse. What was once a transparent blue figure of light resembling Medaka shrunk into a glowing blue ball. Her soul was now in his grasp.
And with that, she fell asleep in his hands.
