Rider
Rider's heart twinged as she saw Sakura whimpering and grasping at the empty space where the other Shirou had been. The girl began to awaken, buring her face into the coat she was holding, obviously worried about where he might have gone.
Before she could reassure the girl, though, Rin exploded in response to her question, clearly unaware that, unlike their home world, there was no need for secrecy in the Nexus. Rider was about to correct her, but Sakura spoke first.
“Don’t be silly, there is no association here. This is the Nexus, we’re not on Earth anymore—nobody will care", she said as she rubbed her eyes, making no effort to leave Rider's gentle but firm grasp.
Shirou then also responded, backing his lover up, before addressing Sakura and saying that they needed to learn more about the place they were in.
Come to think of it, so do I, she thought.
Then, Rin walked towards her, and began speaking once more.
"Fine, I think I can hold on. If things are too bad I could just grab your hair, Rider", she said.
Rider nodded, and began to stroke her master's hair gently, trying to soothe her.
"Now Sakura is awake, it should be fine anyway. I won't need to carry her. We should get back as fast as we can. Sakura needs to rest and you, Rin, need to warm up", she said, noticing the ice in Rin's hair.
"And, Sakura, don't worry about the other Shirou, he just left to finish what he was doing before we met him. He gave us directions to his house, so you can visit him when you want", she added in a soothing tone, now addressing her master.
Then, she walked over to where her Pegasus was standing, still carrying Sakura.
"OK, everyone, get on", she said.
