Rin
Rin frowned when Sakura proclaimed her luddite status as "cute". She folded her arms around her chest and replied, "I just have better things to do than to fiddle around with electronics and gadgets that won't bring me any closer to obtaining the Second. Plus that stuff is expensive. I can't afford to waste my money on that when I'm so close to recreating the Jeweled Blade."
She watched as Sakura carefully drew the plush into her arms and held it closely. Rin's chest tightened at the sight of this alternate version of her sister start to tear up as she clutched the plush version of her lover even tighter.
“-I’ve really missed having the ability to have a conversation with you. sniff It’s been so hard—being here alone, without either of you. Without anyone but Caster. I-I know this is selfish, but I’m so glad you’re here now. I’m sorry, you don’t want to hear this, do you?” Sakura looked away, wiping away her tears with a brisk wave of her hand.
Rin sighed and reached out to squeeze Sakura's hand. A smile spread across her lips and she said, "I may not be your nee-san and you may not be my Sakura, but I know being alone is the worse thing in the world." She paused, thinking of all the times she seemed at odds when she was at the Clock Tower, or at School, or even with her own family. She took a deep breath and said, "But you're not alone now and I'm going to make sure that you and your idiot get back home to your Rin and Rider. However! Things are getting better. Your Shirou's here and he seems to be in dire need of a prana transfer. I was pretty sure that physical function would degrade before mental function when he became low on prana, but that might be a difference between dimensions."
Saber
Saber frowned as she began to literally walk on top of the sewage water, almost skipping across it as if it was dry pavement. It reeked of human refuse down here, but the familiar smell of carnage also permeated the air. She wondered if anything could be hiding under the water they could not see, but she doubted it was deep enough that something that could kill a person could dwell in its shallow depths.
However, did I not see on that program I was watching with Forest that most shark attacks happen between three to eight feet of water? I cannot discount the shallowness of this channel to think that something sinister is not lurking in its reeking depths. Where is Abigail Summers anyway? She is a spellcaster of some uncommon skill with Fae blood in her veins. Wasn't she suppose to be here as well?
Having a magic user who could have scryed would have been a giant boon. However, the four of them would have to make due. She did glare slightly at Noel, wishing yet again that it was Forest down here instead. "I wonder how long until nightfall," Saber muttered, and wondered if Forest could find them in the tunnels below the city.
