Sakagami Kenzo

"Took the words out of my mouth, kiddo!" Kenzo grinned, laughing heartily.

"But, I have one condition. You can't use flesh toys, okay? It's no fair if you hide in one of them, it's cheating! In fact, you can't hide in things. I can't, so if you do it it will leave me in a disadvantage. You'll win for sure if that happens, and that is no fun. Okay?"

Ghost Child

For a moment he pondered the term of the game and remembered. He remembered another man who tried to tell him what to do and who was mean to him before playing with him. Ghost Child's vision distorted terribly and five environments overlapped onto the current area and instead of a redheaded man he saw purple.

For an instant his smile faded but quickly returned. "Okay, mister! I'll play. Count to... 20!"

Sakagami Kenzo

Closing his eyes, he walked up to the poor man. There wasn't much he could do, in those conditions. He was going to die, drowned in his own blood. By the time he could get him to heal in his springs, that man would surely die of blood loss.

Crouching to the man, his palm touched his chest. A faint light oozed from the hand, shifting colors by the second. Then, it became blood red. It was clear, the pain, the anger and the indignation that men was feeling. He could feel it too, that poor man's suffering. He'd pass over peacefully, but that ghost could not be allowed to keep harming innocent lives.

"Very well. Let's play."

Rin

Rin didn't blink at the whole, "Sakura is my wife" bit.  After all, in her world Sakura and Shirou were already married and Sakura was wanting to start a family fairly soon, as soon as Shirou's law practice got established enough.

Then Rider came down and there was more talking and Rin sighed, rubbing her forehead.  Sakura literally threw a shadow over Shirou's eyes to blind him temporarily and she smiled a little at that.  "Ah, the joys of alternate realities," she said with a grim humor before walking over to Shirou.

Scowling at the wounds there, she looked at Sakura and said, "I assume this is Faust's handiwork."  Then she splayed her hand over Shirou and began to heal him as well, hoping to calm down his prana flow enough that he wasn't literally "The Bone of his Sword".

Michael

Michael took a moment to look at the two, then at the clearly uncomfortable kid.

"It's okay, kid," he said, patting Roxas on the shoulder, "Chances are you'll understand this stuff better when you're a bit older, but let's just say that those two probably need a moment to themselves."

Roxas looked at the man a bit confused.  He had always heard of this kind of thing in romance shows and even the fake school he went to in Twilight Town but he never saw it in action.  Micheal was older so maybe he had a sense for this kind of thing.

"Wait, they aren't doing THAT kind of thing right?"  He said as he continued to study the pair.  It looked more like Rikuyo was upset and the creepy doctor was comforting her more than anything.  She was upset about something, saying that someone had died.  He hadn't known her for long but it was hard not to empathize.

Than'Sanel

The half-elf Planeswalker definitely understood where Sarse was coming from. A sense that none of this plane, Nexus, would likely understand? Than'Sanel's sensing of the magic spectrum as he understood it likely wouldn't make sense to others. He supposed that Sarse's Symphony, on the other hand, would be a bit more believable when compared to a color-coded system of understanding reality and magic.

For something to disturb the Symphony Sarse spoke of, setting aside the Boros-colored man's comment of a non-mortal lifetime, was of great concern. Than' had to wonder how Sarse would respond to the Nephilim of Ravnica, but didn't bring that topic up. The less spoken of those things the better.

Arriving at the scene, the half-elf hadn't expected to find knights and soldiers of the sort he knew blocking off the epicenter of the disturbance. He tried to not outwardly cringe in distaste at Gintoki's response - 'Why had the silver-haired man follow them and how, anyway?' - to the apparent leader after Sarse had raised a question.

Addressing the disheveled man, he kindly but abruptly admonished. "Let's not antagonize the leader of these knights and soldiers, alright?"

He turned to the knight. "My friend here sensed something very disturbing had happened here and wanted to investigate. I would trust his senses on the matter in this instance, sir."

Tohuw Balagan

It had been a few minutes since both had left, and Tohuw still had no luck. Standing on the edge of a dock, he looked down the pond with a look of disappointment. How long, how long had he waited for a single fish to grab the god forsaken bait?

Then, he heard the tapping of feet advancing towards him. Smiling, he turned to face Sakura. Chirping birds, grassy fields, sunny sky and the peaceful waters. It was the perfect summer fishing trip, like in the movies! At least, inside the door that is.

"Oh, Sakura! You are just in time. Do you mind holding this fishing cane for one or two seconds?"

Nova Tiburtius

Nova watched as more demons emerged from the tear, including some dark ghost like creature.  He glanced at the downed demon, who launched a bolt of fire at him.  The other one let loose a blast of fire from its hands. The young man held his hand up, as if commanding the fire to stop. Two circular wormholes appeared just a bit bigger than each other than each of the demons attacks.  The other end of the wormholes appeared in front of two the ghost like creatures, hitting them with the bolt and blast of fire.

Following up the redirection, Nova delivered 5 slashes in the same manner to the other demon, creating slash shaped wormholes the same size, shape and length as his attacks.  Just like before, the other side of that wormhole opened up in front of the uninjured demon, delivering the full force of the attack and making it look as if he teleported the slashes to the demon.

If nothing was done, this situation could go from easy clean up to drawn out battle quickly.  He paid close attention to the woman's words.

"They won't be stopping anytime soon. An opening into the material world with the Veil this thin is too good of an opportunity to pass up for them." She said.

"This Veil, what exactly is it?  Can you close it somehow?  I would rather not fight all these creatures if possible."  He responded with a serious voice.  His facial features went from a more bored look to visibly engaged.

Emily

Emily furrowed her brow for a moment at Mordred's reply, not entirely because of the second tirade against vampires, but because of the last bit.

"Hold on, about this person who helped you before now," Emily started, ignoring the other two, "Did they ask for anything in return? Or were they just helping you out of the kindness of their heart? The first I trust, the second I'd rather avoid."

Ghost Child

A frown covered the child's face. Everyone knew that you couldn't have two people be it. That was cheating! He didn't play with cheaters. So without a word about the new glow to the sword he turned around and flew as fast as possible towards one of the nearby malls.

Urthemiel

The rage demon stumbled just like the other one had but while it was assaulted its partner made the temperature around it searing and rushed forward to slam its arms down on the stranger. The shades on the other hand had watched the combat before and as the wormholes opened before them they immediately moved out of the way of the fiery attacks and moved to flank the man.

As all of this happened Urthemiel spoke nonchalantly. "In layman's terms the Veil is a curtain separating the material world from the dream world, and it is much more difficult to close then it is to open. Considering that it was torn by an act of pure magic and not any apparatus was used to hold it shutting it now will be too difficult to do now."

While Urthemiel spoke her eyes were focused on Nova's. Maybe his plain features helped accentuate the eyes. If that was the case then maybe she could remove them at a later date. While it could bae an interesting expression she could only withstand the dissonance for so long.

Sakagami Kenzo

As soon as the ghost child ran away, Kenzo chased the spirit with unbelievable speed. With a stern face, eyes shut but blade ready, he counted inhumanely fast.

Despite having his eyes closed, he could tell where that spirit was clearly. After all, even if he couldn’t see him, the sword could. It's boiling anger guided him, directed him to the child.

Ghost Child

As the spirit fled it turned around in the air to see the man chasing after him. That was definitely cheating! But Ghost Child did have a few advantages over his pursuer. Other than flight he could maintain his speed while watching the chasing man as he phased through anything in his way.

This is something he made use of immediately as he swerved straight through the wall of an office building and began to rise up the floors without being obstructed in any way.

The demon grinned as the ghost phased trough the wall of a building. His sword trembled with excitement, it could feel that spirit's neck closer and closer. Immediately, Kenzo followed it's lead and ran up the wall, keeping up somewhat with the spirit as he grimaced to his face in front of a window, making the action clearly visible to the ghost child.

Ghost Child

After rising through a few floors Ghost Child noticed the man running up the wall of the building after him. So instead of continuing to ascend he dived straight down with all the speed he could muster. The tall man could only fall so fast while he could fly at full speed.

Then he slammed straight through the bottom floor and into the basement of the building where they stored their extra supplies.

Oho.

Thankfully, Kenzo noticed that the ghost child was descending. Quickly turning around, he proceeded to run downwards along the wall, following the Child's same direction.

He could't keep this up for long, but what was important was that he managed for now. Flipping around, he began to free fall and used the momentum to kick a window open. With that window of opportunity, he barely managed to get into the building. That spirit was getting more and more troublesome, he was definitely bleeding all over. Removing a shard of glass from his shoulder, he began to look for the ghost child.

Perhaps he'd find him in the bottom floor.
