Christina Summeria
As her kick connected, she immediately shifted her weight and tried to rise herself to her two legs.
‘Try’ being the key word.
The moment she rose to a stand and took a step, a wave a massive vertigo hit her, and she tumbled to her left side. It seems the shockwave has done more then make the world just seem like nothing more than a ringing and hurt like hell.
It seems it also destroyed her sense of balance. At least for a bit.
From the ground she looked over to her foe, only to see him burst into a run towards the buildings. He she lost track of him he couldn’t stop him from escaping into the shadows. And so she swung her right arm, and the Snake shot towards the back of her foe.
Better dead then escaping.
But then the unexpected happened. A flash of white shot through the air and struck the spear head, intercepting its movement. Christina could only stare, she couldn’t believe her eyes.
An arrow, an odd metal arrow. She knew that kind of arrow. She turned her head to the side, only to see a familiar figure walk up to her, allowing the enemy to escape into the buildings.
“What did you interfere for!?” She said, her voice coming out like slight yelling due to her momentary deftness.
The man simply walked up to her before removing the spear from her grip.
The segmented segments snapped back to the hilt, the Snake becoming a Spear yet again. “You know why. You are in no condition to continue fighting at the moment.” He mumbled annoyed, watching as the enemy left. He was right, no sense of hearing distorted cues for danger, the brushing of wind, the crackling of flames, the scraping of steel. Not to mention her balance was shot, there was no way for her to really fight him anymore. If he reacted, and that one showed he was more then capable of to a surprise attack when he avoided her earlier spear strike, the fight would not be ended with that.
And then she would be a sitting duck.
He should have just captured her completely when she had the chance, a chance which was presented multiple times, instead she let her emotions get the better of her. And she hated herself for it.
“It won’t matter after tonight. There was no real information to be gained here; you shot the gun Christina, that’s unlike you.” He sighed dramatically, “And here I was, waiting all nice and quiet at my checkpoint. I guess I know what took you so long now, huh?”
Christina just glared. And then she began to cough, small flecks of red covering the ground in front of her face. But from anyone use to it, it was not serious,.
The man sighed as he helped her into a standing position, throwing one of her arms over his shoulder, and after collecting the metal arrow he escorted her to a more secure area, a place where he could let her recover the slight damage she took.
Christina frowned as the man helped her away, knowing the enemy was gone, "I knew I should have been carrying around all my gear..."
Mia
Her eyes remained fixated on Shirou, on her hurt Papa. Her eyes were moist. And then a man appeared, she didn’t care, and then he walked over to her and tried to get her away from papa.
“Young lady, I’m a doctor, and I need you to get off him so I can treat him.” His voice was an order.
But Mia only heard one thing, that he was a doctor, her eyes spun to his and look him in the eyes, her moist, and glowing, red eyes staring into his.
“Fix Shirou.” She ordered him in response to his order, stepping out of the way for him, but still holding onto his hand.
If he was lying he would die. That simple.
