Garou XIII

Garou limped for a moment, struggling to get back up before falling lifelessly. His eyes were tired, his body
battered and dying. Even with a look of death, there was still ferocity left in his weak gaze. He could barely see, hear and feel. Everything was cold and painful, burning at him and eroding his ery life.

It hurt, but he couldn't lose. He wouldn't lose.

His arm moved slowly, trembling, like a child's, and Garou clung on the girl as tightly as he could, surprisingly so for a moving corpse. Even in death he was still as unyielding. And then he smiled, and muttered.

"Hehe...pathetic...but I won't... can't die..."

Shinobu

"Thank you for the praise, it is only natural that you are awestruck by me!" Shinobu said as she walked towards the balcony door. When she went past Corbin and was about to cross the threshold into his apartment she spoke again. "I used to be faster...."

Noriko

"Seithr?" The mage heard that term for the first time. "I don't know what you mean. I think you owe me explanation here. It's the first time I ever heard of it." Noriko looked at Ragna, expecting answers.

"Seithr is, well..." Ragna looked down to his arm, feeling it radiate seithr ever so slightly. "Well, seithr is a kind of airborne molecule or something? In any case it's gaseous, and if there's too much of it it can be poisonous, or cause mutations and such. But, it was also useful, because it helped ars magus work, which is a kind of pseudo magic created with the help of scientific methods. Entire cities were powered with ars magus for energy and weather control, so it's a kind of situation where you can't live with too much of it, and you can't live without any of it."

He left out the cauldrons, the sources of the seithr itself, and the black beast. She seemed the kind of type to zoom in on any unexplained terms. Explaining was a pain, and he was hungry.

"You decided what you're going to eat?"

Noel

Noel smiled and took the kitty back from Mordred, mostly ignoring what she was saying. She was more concerned with Ragn-Alpha the Bloodedge. She could explain Murakumos to Mordred in more depth later. Maybe.

"So um... Alpha... About you being a Murakumo... And the thing that Kagura saved you from... Um… I'm sorry, I shouldn't prod you about it…" Noel looked guiltily down at her feet. "I'm sorry..." She looked up and then prostrated herself. "I'm sorry, I saw everything. I should have asked first!"

ALPHA=THE=BLOODEDGE

Alpha blinked. Did Noel just apologize for observing on her? Well, it was a breath of fresh air, compared to Rachel's constant intrusions into her personal life. Alpha couldn't help but laugh in a lighthearted manner.

"Don't be an idiot, Noel. You saw some alternate reality version of me walking down the street, and observed to make sure of who I was. That's probably it, right? No reason to get my panties all twisted up," she said with a smile. "Realities or whatever, I'm just glad to see you again."

Akatsuki

Akatsuki saw the back and forth between the two men, Kenzo adamantly, harshly and then meekly refusing help, while Micheal seemed to react with patience and calm indifference.

They wouldn't get anywhere fast if the back and forth continued, though.

As she prepared to speak, another person barged in: It was that bear-lady, accusing "Mike" of meddling in their fight.

"Ah, he didn't meddle! He was just helping Kenzo after I hit him a little too hard!" She blurted out frantically, trying to diffuse the situation. The bear lady seemed to really not like the calm fellow.

Mordred

She didn't get much about what they were talking about. Alpha talked about alternative selves, and Mordred wasn't exactly unfamiliar with things like that. Better though if she removed Saber from her memory if she could. Her lack of competence both induced headaches in her and Noel.

"Stand up, Noel, I don't understand whole situation, but Alpha clearly didn't take any offense." The changeling extended her hand to her blonde friend. Meanwhile the cat climbed on Noel's head. Some cats were fond of doing that.

"Then it's just science, though I'm not familiar with the technology behind it. I'm a genuine mage, so I know the real magic since I became one. I could tell you about the true magic in brief, but yeah, I should order something. Let's see." She skimmed through and picked pretty unimaginative choice. "Maybe, ramen, then."

A brief exposition was anyway the best she could in order to explain someone who didn't glimpse the higher truths. And he didn't seem like guy who liked infodumps anyway.

Oka

"Pokemon are rare." Oka had never thought she'd hear words such as these uttered. Not this pokemon is rare, or legendary pokemon are rare, just rare in general. The idiocy just uttered about fire pokemon and if they could control fire was almost negligible compared to this. And they didn't even sound like they were joking.

"Wait, you haven't heard of any pokemon ever? How? Like, um, actually how? They're literally omnipresent throughout the entire world. You've never heard of Wurmple, Weedle, Ariados, Octillery, Pikachu…" Oka rattled off several more names of various pokemon. "You've heard of none of these? Zero? Nil?"

Sakagami Kenny

Kenzo was surprized for a second, but suddenly had a brillant idea. Taking adantage of Riyuko's and everyone's distraction, he closed his eyes even harder and pretended to be sleeping, snoring in a convincingly unconvincing but kinda convincing manner.

"Zzzzzzzzzzz...zzzzzzz....zzzzz....zzzz..zz...!!"

Now they'd definetely believe him!

"No I've never heard of those. Yeah I'd say they're rare, I haven't seen anyone before seeing yours Oka" Jin said while looking at Wormy.

The Hunter listened intently to Oka's explanation, nodding along as the girl went on.

"Nope," Anne replied without even the slightest bit of hesitation, "Might be something from the Dark Continent, but I've never heard of anything like those, and I doubt anything from there would've made it all the way...wherever here is."

After a few moments internal aura production and a bit more of her face had been put together. Then blue haired girl lifted the bloody corpse like a groom would his bride. Despite what he had done she felt little fear. Whatever strength he had was now finally leeched from his body and considering what she had seen he wasn't a killer. If he did try something from this position she could crush him to death and be on her way even if he tried using the spikes. With that reassurance she simply just began to walk towards the nearest hospital.

"You are a remarkable human to move when your body should have failed. I... envy that." The words slipped out of her mouth without a moment of thought. It was the same kind of thoughtless action she had done with Noel but despite the uncertainty of it all being able to say it was comforting.

"Are you fucking joking?" He said, more humoured than offended. Then, he laughed  howling, or was it coughing. One could hardly tell.

Corbin

Corbin chuckled as Shinobu said, "Thank you for the praise, it is only natural that you are awestruck by me!" 

You really have an ego on you, don't you love?  However, instead of finding it annoying like he did with a lot of other vampires, he had to admit it was kind of cute with Shinobu.  She walked past him, was about to step in his apartment when she said, "I used to be faster...."

"Well, you're plenty of fast now," Corbin said as he stepped in and sighed when he was in the blissfully dark, pleasant temperature confines of his bedroom.  He didn't need to turn on the light; the both of them could see well enough in the dark.

His bedroom was neat without being meticulous.  He had a hamper for dirty clothes, the clean clothing was put away, and his bed was made.  There was a nightstand with a digital alarm clock and a door leading to a bathroom.  Other than that, the bedroom was almost Spartan.


Gabriel

I sense the wards on the other side of town, but I don't sense Godmother there, the hybrid thought to himself as he walked.  If anything, I sense her on the opposite side of town, and since I can sense her she's not dead.  Now just getting to her is going to be a problem.

He didn't trust himself to use the shadows at this moment; he was too exhausted just from getting there.

While there wasn't any overt confusion in her tone it was a bit obvious that she felt as if she was missing something. "I do not believe I was joking. On all meaningful levels you are a human whose ability I envied. Where is the humor?"
