Emily
In spite of how she'd enjoyed the music, Emily found herself gripping her seat white-knuckled as Darcy finished. Focusing herself in the moment to try to calm herself enough to not let anything show, the Changeling hardly showed the slightest sign of her current state of mind beyond her grip on her seat. Giving Darcy a warm smile as he finished, Emily finally found her center once more, doing what she could to calm down as she focused on Darcy, reassuring herself that the fire had been some sort of trick. She'd seen firebreathing with the aid of flammable liquids before, so this had to be one of those..right?
"That was great, Darcy," Emily said, blushing a little as she realized his shirt had come off somewhere in the performance, "But I'm going to need a moment, if you don't mind."
With that, the Changeling simply got up from her seat and made her way outside. Closing the door behind her, the Changeling leaned up against the nearest wall, taking a moment to get a good few deep breaths in as she tried to get her figurative bearings straight.
Focus, he isn't a dragon, or a Draconic. I'm just on edge from all the dragon stuff littered around the house. That was probably just a clever trick, that's all. Just a clever trick. He's not a Draconic, he's not here to take me back. If he was, he'd have done that already, I'd have seen that before when I got a look at him. Focus.
Allowing one last deep breath, the Changeling finally felt herself calming down, relaxing against the wall as she left the chilly air cool her down. Deciding that she'd had enough time, the Changeling made her way back inside.
