Forest

And of course the metal thing flew over their heads . . . Uggg, why can't I find someone who appreciates the holy trinity of Dio, Priest, and Maiden around here?  Stupid Nexus . . .

"I'm Rikuyo from Nakana village. Just call me Rikuyo, I ain't some noble with a last name." the young woman replied as she finished undressing.

Then Kenzo said, "Name's Kenzo. Sakagami Kenzo! She's Fore. Nicetomeetchapy!"

He gave Rikuyo a playful slap on her back before he said, "Hope ya like it pal. I'll cook something for us and then I'll join you. Okay?"

Forest started to shrug out of her duster, making sure she grabbed an elastic hair tie and the tiny travel brush she kept in one of the interior pockets before she did.  She looked at Kenzo and then back to Rikuyo.  She said, "Rikuyo, that's pretty.  Fore's short for 'Forest', I'll go by either.  Yes, I know, it's strange even for foreigner, but I like it."

Medaka Kurokami

Two images shot through the mind of Medaka Kurokami.  The first was a smiling image of Zenchichi, following behind her in the distance.  The second was an image of Lorenzo, holding out a hand to her from the entrance of his ship.  He walked back onto the ship and it exploded in a giant spectacle of blue fire.

In reality, Medaka was staring blankly at Toe, engulfed by her own thoughts.  A bitter sweet smile infected her face.

"No.  Thats not true.  I have experienced many forms of love.  The love of strangers, the love of friendship and even the love of a man.  If there is anything I understand and hold dear, it is love.  What you did was extreme but I understand it.  Certainly you can accept mine as well."  She said genuinely.

Just then, she jumped a little in her seat.  She had an epiphany.

"Toe, what is love to you?"

"The key is calcium, lots of calcium. Oh, and I run a lot whenever Jump is on sale. Dunno, maybe I should try harder, but nah, actually training would be just a bother. I cannot get stronger without going bald. Like that guy in manga I read.", he explained to the vampire who was eyeing for some reason. "What's the matter, do I sound funny to you? No, I'm completely, absolutely serious."

"I have no doubt doubt you were being serious" the blond vampire said as she walked closer until their bodies were almost touching. "I just found myself fascinated by a human with such a developed physique, it is not something of the ordinary in the place I come from." Her eyes were moving over his body even more intently now as if taking in every detail about him, devouring him with her eyes until nothing remained.

Rider

Rider awaited Sakura's response with anticipation, wanting to go into the room so she could congratulate her master. However, before Sakura could reply, Rider heard her let out a adorable squeak of surprise. Normally, Rider would have been a little nervous at Sakura emitting such a sound, but she knew Shirou would never do anything to harm Sakura. Instead, she listened in with a smile on her face as Shirou asked her where they should go, referring to her as his "princess". Her smile broadened further as she heard Sakura's response.

Seems like Rin was right, she thought with amusement, before entering the room just in time to see Shirou carry Sakura out of the opposite door and towards the stairs, her master making some odd and slightly-worrying giggling sounds as he carried her away. Then, somewhat unexpectedly, she addressed Rider over their mental link.

Sure, you can come! she said, her voice full of joy.

A look of confusion came over Rider's face on hearing her reply.

Does she...? Really?

Not that Rider objected to the idea of a threesome with Shirou and Sakura. They were both attractive people who she liked and trusted, after all, and if it made Sakura happy she would be glad to go along with it. But it was certainly not something she expected her to offer, at least at this stage of her life.

I'm probably just misunderstanding her..., Rider thought, shaking her head to clear her mind.

Nevertheless, she approached the room somewhat cautiously, not wanting to intrude on something Sakura did not wish for her to. Approaching the door, she heard Shirou and Sakura in conversation, and decided to listen in for a moment, to make sure it was OK to enter.

"Well, of course, how could I not be? We're finally getting married, Shirou! I'm so happy I could burst", she heard her master say.  "Can you imagine a more amazing day?"

Rider smiled once more, her heart warmed by the fact that Sakura was feeling such happiness. Happiness that she could never have dreamed she would see again even a day ago.

"I guess you're right, Sakura. Today's been pretty amazing", Shirou responded.

Figuring that it would be better to be polite, if only for Shirou's sake, Rider knocked on the door.

"Sakura, Shirou, can I come in?" she asked, her voice full of joy.

Lone Wanderer:

Jesus Christ...

All Jeremy could do was shake his head at the antics of those around him. Taking off his helmet, he approached the counter to where the shopkeeper was at. "I would like to apologize for them, sir," he stated.

Looking through the selection, he spotted something called a "Bear Claw." The Wanderer guessed it looked kind of like a Yao Gui paw, so the name holds up. "I would like to have one of those, please," He said while pointing at it, "The man over there said he's buying."

Let it be said that at least he understands restraint, unlike some women that he knows...

Gintoki

Was she really hitting on him? Undoubtedly Gin-san wasn't bad looking, but things were escalating tad too quickly. This Shinobu weren't bad herself, but her temper worried him. Pretty looking mountain gorillas are still mountain gorillas. "Really? Huh, then maybe they could make use of Gin-san's advice."

"Yep, it's on me." Gintoki confirmed. Pity that probably those two female monsters would empty his wallet, but the money was given anyway, not earned. "Oi, Shinobu, go ahead and pick too. Just leave some for others."

Noriko

Oh yeah, a lab. A simple workshop would do for now, but she really should aim higher. "Oh right, a lab. The question is, will you maintain it in your manager's place or somewhere more... remote?" she inquired. What mattered in shady endeavors was location, location and location.

Mordred

She was alone again. Undoubtedly what Noel wanted to do was something important, but she sincerely hoped her friend sobered up by the time she got to the motel. With her head uncovered, she kept sneezing occassionally and felt apathetic. As her new friend started running towards one of those bloody suns, she deduced that maybe she tried to shut down one of them. She would be grateful if she succeeded.

Passing by a shabby looking building, it only reminded her how shit the past few days had been. And that weird dream she had last time she got any sleep. She only remembered flying, observing the land below, but had feeling like if she was in a larger body than hers. Bloody weird.

Relius Clover

“Well, you see, I have just acquired some property just recently.  At the moment, I am having it renovated.  The problem is that I have no funding to provide the necessary up to date technology for experiments.  However, it is conveniently right next door to a hospital down the street.  Perhaps we could "ask’" for some equipment.” Relius suggested, following the red haired girls comment.

Tohuw Balagan

Tohuw frowned in annoyance and rubbed his forehead, wishing he had a palm tree to stuff his face into. He spoke flatly, seriously and without a shred of whimsies.

“Idiot, you can’t answer a question like that. It just works, there’s not a single good way to explain it. Love is mad, it is cruel, it is selfish, it is senseless, it is beautiful and it is ugly. The fact you would ask such a stupid, stupid question proves you don’t understand love at all. Love is love, no more and no less. ”

Shinobu

"You have my gratitude then Gintoki" the blonde vampire replied in a happy voice before skipping over to the to the counter and bending over it to have a better look at the donut selection. "How many can I have Gintoki? They all look so delicious. Are you not going to have some?"

Gintoki

Why she can't wear a kimono?, Gintoki thought as he desperately tried to avert his eyes from a certain sight. "Uh, I've eaten my fill before, be my guest." He told Shinobu. To be honest, they looked delicious, but his walet was tight and it was better to satisfy the hunger of those two rascals than himself first.

Shinobu

Impossible, I offered him one of my donuts and he refused, the blond vampire thought. The rejection of her generous offer had indeed annoyed her to some extent, as her hands gripped the counter harder. Unknowingly she had even started swinging her hips back and forth a bit from her annoyance.

Suddenly the annoyance left her as she gained mischievous smile. "I will have one chocolate donut please".

Medaka Kurokami

Medaka listened patiently, still smiling somewhat somberly.

"Yes, its true.  Neither you nor I have the ability to fully explain love but everyone has the ability to feel it.  It comes in many forms and manifests its self in different ways.  The selfish desire to protect someone manifests itself in the form of jealousy, anger and hate.  The selfless desire to be altruistic manifests itself in the form of emotional attachment, support and displays of affection."

Medaka stood up, turned around and looked at the wall.

"Toe, which side would you get rid of?  If you could expel one aspect of love, which would it be, selfishness or selflessness?" She asked, still facing away from him.  She reached out and touched the wall, almost caressing it.

Tohuw Balagan

Tohuw frowned, nodding in understanding but clearly disagreeing with the clearly wrong person.

"Now why would I do that? Wouldn't removing something essensial and natural from love make love not be love any longer?"

Tohuw seemed to think for a moment.

"How about you Meddy?"

Vanguard

Vanguard nodded gladly and spoke with a firm, decisive tone. "Then I expect great work from you."

Glancing around, he noticed that time had flown quite swiftly. He didn't feel the need to stay any longer here, and his master had taken her leave. For now, he was unneeded, there was no rush to head back at the moment. However, this was a good opportunity to explore this city. With that, he turned around and spoke.

"Noriko, your admission test will be to assist this man and to lay the groundwork. One day. No more, no less. Do you have any objections?"

Medaka Kurokami

"Its actually somewhat scary.  Based on your story, I would say you lean more towards selfishness.  After all, you did pull out a girls eye to find out if she loved you.  On the other hand, I am one who resides in the realm of selflessness.  I love everybody and I give everything because I believe in my heart that I can afford to do so.  I committed whole hardheartedly to a pure selfless form of love."

Medaka lowered her hand from the wall, letting it drop lifelessly to her sides.  "In all my love filled relationships, I gave everything because I could afford to do so.  I had the strength to do so.  I had the personality to do so.  In this city, that arrogance has cost me my happiness. I became selfish. I wanted to bring back Lorenzo, only to correct my own mistake.  Thats why, Toe, your words hurt so much.  I mean, how could I defy the dead like that?"

Medaka slowly turned around to face Toe.  Her cheeks was strawberry red.  Her face was dried from tears.

"Toe, if I had the power to destroy one side of love, I would choose selfishness.  That way, love can be maintained in its perfect form, the pure form of love."  She said, her eyes somewhat dead looking.

Rikuyo

"All foreign names are weird to me anyway, so it doesn't matter." she shrugged. "I'll call you Fore, I like shorter names. But more importantly..." Rikuyo grinned. "I'll be first in the hot-springs!" Not willing to be the runner-up, she dashed towards the water.

Mordred

Mordred's stay in Nexus has been intense, forcing her to make best use of her abilities with only rare moments of peace. And indeed the overuse of her Wyrd related powers took a toll on her true form. Strange dreams and peculiar cravings were merely a preludium to physical changes which developing another kih entailed. She hadn't noticed the first change, for she would need to see her reflection: one of her eyes changed its color to deep crimson, its pupils now cat or serpent like.

(OOC: The change of course GM approved)
