Sakura and Shirou
Sakura and Shirou stood watching the fight, unable to provide any useful assistance. Sakura was full of self-loathing brought on by the sight of the servant she had once corrupted, whilst Shirou was holding her and trying his best to comfort her. Meanwhile, the intruder continued to electricute Irisviel's guest, seemingly with little real effect. However, then, suddenly, out of nowhere, a guilotine appeared out of thin air, severing the woman's arm. This was followed immediately by a rain of nails piercing through her body, as if Shirou had summoned up his reality marble but replaced swords with nails. The two of them would have been surprised and shocked by the sudden display, but after what they had seen earlier, there was only one likely source.
“Wow! *chomp* Looks like everyone got here for the party~! Good job by the way, I didn’t think you’d *nom* make it that far myself. *chew* Julius was it?” a very familiar voice said from the rooftop.
Togan! Sakura thought.
For once, she was somewhat pleased to see the often-annoying man. He had single-handedly dealt with the intruder, nailing them mercilessly to the ground. As brutal as it was, Sakura and Shirou felt little remorse for the woman, who had, after all, acted nothing but beligerantly towards Irisviel's guest the whole time, although both were upset by the needless loss of life, particularly Shirou.
However, to their surprise, the woman was not, yet, quite dead. Seeing her twitch, Irisviel launched an attack, magical wires shooting out from her clothes to defend her and attack the enemy. Saber, meanwhile, ran forward, telling Irisviel to stay back. Sakura and Shirou presumed she was moving in for the killing blow but, to their initial surprise, she instead choose to attack with the blunt side of her blade.
Ah, of course, Shirou realised. She doesn't want to kill a defenceless person.
Shirou was in two minds. He certainly respected Saber's desire to avoid needless bloodshed but, in this case, he felt the woman was clearly still dangerous, as the electricity cackling everywhere demonstrated. Besides, it seemed unlikely that she could survive anyway. Sakura, meanwhile, only found her guilt increased by the display of mercy from the servant, and she grabbed hold of Shirou tighter. Recognising the signal, Shirou reciprocated her hug, and began to whisper to her once more.
"Sakura, what happened to our Saber was not your fault. None of it was your fault. And, this is not our Saber, you do not need to feel sorry for her", he said, too quiet for others to hear.
Meanwhile, Julius, less inclined towards mercy than the servant, launched a dagger at the woman's head. Both Shirou and Sakura looked away, not wanting to watch the execution of a helpless woma. Even if it was a perfectly sensible course of action, the idea of killing someone in cold blood like that was extremely distasteful to them both.
