[The Man With All The Cute Boats]

Sakagami Kenzo

Kenzo gripped at the table, as if suddenly frozen. He trembled for a moment before looking at the girl with a very serious expression. It was as if his candid atmosphere had suddenly vanished in an instant to give place to a beastly oppressive aura.

"Do you know him?" He growled, an animalistic quality resonating deep within his voice. While he looked and sounded certainly calm and stern at the moment, even he could not conceal hints of rage and pearls of folly within his heartbeat. "How do you know him?"

He had been lenient thus far, but he had not forgotten. Now that he knew that yokai was somehow connected to that fiend, he could not let her go. He'd make her talk, whether it was willing or not.

ALPHA THE BLOODEDGE

Suddenly, the atmosphere changed, and got bloodthirsty. Another being might have felt a shiver down their spine, or a weakness in the knees... even a slight bit more caution than before.

But Alpha the bloodedge was completely unperturbed, because she was all too familiar with that feeling.

"How I know him? I'd kick the shit out of him if I met him is how I know him. Calm your ass down," she said, calmly taking another sip. "I'm no friend of his."

As she said that, the bartender slid over a glass of whiskey, and Alpha pushed it towards her new friend.

Gabriel

"These are perhaps one of my favorite cocktails; I'm not a fan of martinis," he said as he lifted his glass to her.

Gabriel took a drink and enjoyed the sweet-tartness with the familiar scotch burn.  He sighed happily and said, "I figured this would be a better choice than a beer.  Even though I could have chosen a cider.  So, do you mind me asking how you ended up with Erica?"

Alarice

The blonde refused to even twitch despite the volume used by the tree man. Still, this was just another reminder of the sheer inexperience of the mage. There was an uncountable number of nobles that would take great annoyance to having their homes shouted at with such a lack in decorum.

Thankfully, it seemed that there actually was no one there. That was rather strange but not incredibly uncommon. If they were lucky scavengers hadn't looted the place and turned it into an utter wreck on the inside. "I would caution you not to scream at every presumably abandoned building, milord. It could have easily gained us ill will if the owner was there, and it would not be wise to inform any vagrants that this place may be empty. If the owner had any degree of authority his disappearance may summon up the rats to stir up anarchy. If he had none but held even the slightest degree of wealth proportional to his castle it would be annoying to repel the scavengers without killing them."

The Chosen walked up to the wooden doors and tried to open just once before frowning at the uncooperativeness of the sturdy barriers. With a raised hand she brought down deadly claws on the door. Wood was shredded and metal sheared apart with awful sounds as she tore herself through the doors. "There is no helping it now, Lord Greyskull. We might as well get situated as soon as possible."

Emily

"I'd say you were right about that," Emily admitted with a smile, "And I'm glad you went for this instead."

The Changeling's expression dimmed a little at Gabe's last query.

"As for her...well, I was more or less walking along when she came out of pretty much nowhere and started asking questions. It didn't last long before she agreed we'd be better off inside, and you know the story from there."

[Elf]

Gabriel

"My apologizes, but it did lead us to meeting so it wasn't all bad.  Plus you passed the annoyance test with flying colors," Gabriel said with an impish grin.

"Even though her line of questioning was uncalled for," he said with a sigh, "She was entirely too forward."

He leaned forward and asked in a low voice, "What was she?"

Emily

Emily couldn't help a laugh at that, already starting to feel a gentle warmth from the alcohol spreading through her body. Her mirth tapered off with his next question, though.

"I honestly don't know," Emily said, "All I know was that she somehow knew I wasn't entirely human from the start, without me telling her anything."

[Elf]

Gabriel

"It's bloody obvious that I'm not human.  I'm too pretty, still," Gabriel said with a sigh and shake of his head, "One doesn't do what she did.  It's horrendous and quite rude."

Rider

Well, I guess that would make sense, Rider thought as she heard Dante's reply. But, why Wormy? It's not a worm, it doesn't look anything like a worm.

Before Rider could respond, however, she was somewhat distracted by Oka wrapping her arms around the large bug-like creature, cuddling it affectionately.

"This is Wormy!" she said, excitedly, her affection for the creature obvious. "And if you want to pet him, you should ask him, I think."

Before Rider could say anything, an odd sound came from the other creature, sitting under the table. Smiling, Oka grabbed hold of one of the creature's weird tendril things, an act which caused it to smile.

"And this is Sylveon. No special name for him, sorry", she said.

Rider smiled at the girl, slightly confused by what she meant by "special name".

"What do you mean, 'special name'?" she asked, curious. "And, I'm curious, is there a reason you called your other friend 'Wormy'?"

Then, she turned to Wormy, smiling gently at the creature.

"Do you mind if I stroke you?" she asked, assuming from Oka's words that he could understand English if not speak it.

Mordred

"I won't have assumptions make me stop from trying. Go ahead, make a contract or swear an oath. A promise for a promise. Don't worry, I'm not the type to create loopholes and try to screw over the other party." Mordred reassured Kuro. Honestly, the fire and the sun were the same here, so honestly Wyrd didn't care about interdimensional bullshit if a cosmic principle could have feelings.

Petra

"You two are already picking up a fight? Gah, you didn't even bother to introduce yourself." Petra complained. She didn't like the way how argument between them kept escalating. Two strangers antagonizing each other for no good reason was something absurd.

[Panda]

Emily

"Yeah, it was," Emily said, "But she's hopefully not going to be able to follow us."

"Say, why are you like that, anyway?" the Changeling asked, "I've got my thing, but yours seems to be something different."

[Elf]

Corbin

"'Defenseless' as in it's kind of rude to hit someone you've offered sanctuary to.  You know there are rules to abide, even if you're the only one who follows them.  Something something, long winded speech I'm not going to crib from Gal," he said as he relaxed to Kuro's shoulder rub.   

He looked at Mordred and said, "Maybe she's tried and it didn't work in the past.  Even though, there's no hurt trying right?"


Rin

Rin raised her eyebrows and replied to her one armed antagonist, "Not that I'd give you the favor of telling you any."

"You two are already picking up a fight? Gah, you didn't even bother to introduce yourself," the girl with the brown hair said.

The magus shrugged and said, "I was minding my own business when your companion approached me.'


Gabriel

Gabriel smiled at Emily's question and said, "My mother had very strange bedfellow.  Let me just say I am something that shouldn't be, but yet am due to two women's extraordinarily stubbron natures."

Emily

"You could attribute a lot of things to that," Emily pointed out with a laugh, "Though I think you're quite fortunate. I am pretty much the result of only my own stubborn nature. So what are they like? These two women?"

Rikuyo

"Oh, where are ya goin'?" The redheaded girl started following Ragna as she had nothing better to do. It wasn't night yet and she was clearly bored, in spite of the pain she had to go  through. What were few broken ribs? "What's up with that white hair? Ya ain't a geezer. I know, are you bleaching it?" Rikuyo continued to bother him with a small talk. "And don't worry for me, I'll manage! See, I'm fine!"

Archer

He waved of Sakura as she said she was going to rest. finally after thinking about what to use for the meal, he picked out the ingredients necessary and started preparing them at a calm pace.


Jeanne

Jeanne let go of them and took a step back. "Archer? There's yet another servant here?" She asked them, wanting to confirm if she had heard correctly.


Kuro

The girl stopped rubbing Corbin's shoulders, the blonde woman really liked to meddle in other's bussness and it annoyed her. "I don't feel like binding myself to someone and become their puppet." Kuro rejected Mordred's demand. She then looked turned her gaze to Corbin. "And when did I offer you sanctuary? this isn't exactly my home."


Shinobu

The vampire kept her gaze focused on the rambling doctor as he was obivously trying to buy time with his now incoherent answers. He kept backing up before suddenly ordering the group of large men that she had been ignoring up until now, to drive her out of the room.

Still smiling the blonde vampire suddenly launched an uppercut, with the speed and power that any human boxer could do, into the chin of the nearest man. After performing the blow she spoke with apparent excitement. "Like I thought, you humans are a hundred years too early to challenge me."
