Theodore
"No no no, you got it all wrong. I'm not asking you about this city, I'm referring to me." He rebutted simply, without annoyance or expression to back up his words.
"If your eyes could speak, what would they tell me?"
Count Greyskull
After a while of reconaissance exploration, the duo arrived at the gates of a mighty but moderately large palace of glass emanating bright lights. It seemed pretty important because many people were walking in, thus he assumed that it was indeeed a temple of worship!
Pillaging such a ground would be an unacceptable act of blasphemy, and as long as his subjects served him (spaghetti) faithfully he did not care if they worshipped a polka dotted unicorn.
However, this place would be an ideal ground to announce his presence, with so many people inside the word of his greatness was sure to be spread. Eager and nervous to prove his might, he tapped his fingers nervously and jumped up and down as if to release pent up stress.
"Okay Greyskull calm down we can do this..."
Finally he took a deep breath and braced hiself, but just as he was about to force open the gates with a mighty fire spell, something caught his attention. He turned to the left and saw what seemed to be a pug pup freezing in the snow all alone without owner or collar in sight. This was simply unacceptable, as the great to be ruler of these lands, Greyskull could not allow a loyal subject to suffer like this!
He held out his hand to Alarice as if to tell her to wait and hopped up to the small creature to pick it up. He held it gently to his waist despite the enormous size difference and used a heating spell in order to keep the puppy warm. It seemed that the adorable animal had already taken a liking to him, because he was already nibbling, licking and biting his palm, especially biting it.
"OW!" He yelped in pain, to which the dog responded by growling menacingly, intimidating the eight foot tall lord into submission.
Without delay, the colossal overlord of death walked up to the gate and knocked meekly, using a fire spell when so close to an animal like this now out of the question. Sadly, there was no response and thus he had no choice but to open the gates himself and trespass. Well, he was too weak to do it himself, but that's wha he had skeletons for!
The gates once open, he found himself in the main hall of the temple, a lair of steel and metal conjointed with glass and stone. Peasants and noblemen were brought together in this vivid den of religion. While it didn't look very well mantained or cleaned, it was filled with lights and life! However...
What wasn't good was that not a single one turned to face him, instead focusing on their work and walking around. While devotion was always a trait he welcomed, he was an eight foot tall behemoth of magic and bone! The fact anyone could ignore him like this was unfathomable!
"ERM, WHOSE DOG CREATURE IS THIS? I-IF NOBODY CLAIMS THIS I'M GOING TO HAVE TO GET IT EEEUTHANIIIIIIZEEEED!!!" He called out, to which some glances averted to him only to keep walking. C-crap, why wouldn't they notice him!? This wasn't good, this wasn't good at all! It was honestly kinda scary...
" *ahem* J-just let me know or into the trash can it goooooeees!!"
Darcy Hugh
Darcy followed along and allowed himself a relieved sigh at the pleasant and all too familiar smell of food and drinks. After stepping in, he blinked and gave an impressed whistle.
"Nice, this place looks amazing. Well, not as amazing as you but still, not bad." He said with a huge friendly grin before going for one of the tables.
