Joshua
The window of the building they were nearby crashed loudly above the two with a sudden deafening howl, sending shards of glass pouring down like rainfall on Julius and Kuro. But within the hail of shards was an even more disturbing sight. A boy, torn in rags and bloodied by the impact against the glass window. Was he thrown out of the building so cruelly, or could it be that he jumped down himself.
The boy crashed down with a loud thud, but the grass and bushes of the patio cushioned his fall. Injured, he wept and mewled like a wounded child, his face pale and eyes filled with fear. But then, with a glance, he noticed them and only for a moment the boy seemed to smile in relief.
His eyes were watery, his body trembling with cold, but even for such a small child his heart was filled with determination. He had to, he had to get out that hell. He had to warn them, to tell them, to hold them close and be told that everything would be alright.
So he crawled weakly to the big man, so big he couldn’t tell his features. It was all so blurry, so painful. He just wanted to go home. He clutched at his leg and hugged it, as if seeking comfort from it.
“Help…please. She *sniff*… *sob*” He could barely speak, his emotions finally overwhelming him. And so he cried. "Save me."
