She took the cup that was so gracoiusly offered her and had a sip of it, It tasted wonderfull but she didn't feel like showing it to him...then why? Why couldn't she stop drinking it? she had another sip and then another, until she had downed the entire mug. The vodka spread through her like a fire, a very pleasant fire. She came to herself suddenly, looking at the mug with a shocked expression.

Forest

"There are worse ways to spend an eternity yes," Forest said with a tiny sympathetic smile, "Just be careful.  It's not hard to get burnt out when existing for other's justice and saving them."

She raised her eyebrow at the old cop's declaration that sugar wasn't good for an old man his age.  "Have you tried Stevia?  It's a plant based alternative sweetner.  Has a weird after taste though."

"I'd like an orange juice please, and if I can get to my pocket I'm pretty sure I have enough to cover all of us."  She looked at the old rent-a-cop to see if he'd let her to her wallet.

Julius

He talked too much. What a fool, that only made it easier for them!

Still, a rain of swords was a big deal, but Julius he had it in him to try and deflect the attack. For reasons unknown, he had been always able to at least match the speed and reflexes of his monstrous foes.

So, he attempted to deflect as many blades as he could. Maybe Kuro had something to counter that, but he shouldn't stay idle. Even if he got skewered here and there, as long as his vital organs were intact, he would persevere. He was stubborn like that.

Sakura Matou

"What, didn't you move here because it has a reputation of being safe?" Sakura asked her, surprised at her question. "Vampires and their ilk stay away from this place, don'tcha know?"

IRON=SAKURA

"Uhh, I'm pretty sure they basically just have steak, Mord." Sakura said. "Maybe chicken and pork as well, but I doubt they've got anything fancy like lamb. And Breeze," Sakura continued going without skipping a beat, turning to look at Breeze. "Broccoli is this green plant that looks like a mini tree and tastes really good! You should definitely try it!"

Relius Clover

Relius chuckled.  So that's what he meant by janitor.  This arrangement will suffice for now.

“Very well.  I shall be your sanitary technician granted I may keep whatever ‘trash’ I manage to gather.  I suppose the only thing to establish now would be a method of communication.”  He said after he finished after his laughter ceased.

Nodding to Oka as she leaned against his shoulder they started moving. They eventually found their way to a place that sold ice cream, looking at all the flavour, there weren't really any crazy ones to his mild disappointment. He finally picked strawberry and Oka paid for it as she said she would. "So where are you gonna find cookies?" He said while licking on his cone.

Oka Kurosawa

Oka licked at her four scoop tall stack of icecream happily. "I don't know, I was sure they'd sell something here for him. Talk about bad service. Nothing like what we have at home."

Oka walked along and after a bit poked Jin. "Hey, let me try some of yours." She said, looking at him with fake adorable puppy eyes, trying to get him to acquiesce.

Gadreel

There was no time for introspection and contemplating now. The wingless angel moved quickly to catch the woman before she could hit the ground and potentially suffer injury. Then he carefully placed her down on her back. "Noel, please check if anyone hit their heads. We can seek the source of this along the way."

He moved to do the same after checking for pulse and other signs of physical ailment. He kept his gun at the ready in case their prey revealed itself during the confusion. Gadreel kept his senses alert for any recognizable movement in the filthy presence lurking here.

Auspicious Breeze

"Eh? I've never gotten sick from food before. So, it's okay!" Breeze grinned at the thought while flexing the muscles in her arm as if to go 'look how tough I am!' "What doesn't kill you just makes you stronger. Eat enough spices and you'll train your stomach to survive anything!"

Except that 'coffee' stuff. Why would you want something you drink to be hot? The point of drinks is to be cold, so they shouldn't be hot. Good thing coffee apparently came in cold too.

People ate trees here? Wow; they must be really neat little trees. "Welllll, okay! I'll try it. But only because you're recommending it, Sakura."

Larry

"He offered to buy the coffee, so it would be impolite if you insisted that you pay for him." Especially now that he allegedly had a job. The guy was enough naive that probably he wouldn't take offense, but in his place Larry would feel slighted. If an adult offers something, than his guests should just accept that. "And I don't want any artificial sweeteners either. Who knows what health risks they carry. Healthy lifestyle is better than untested substitutes."

He should really get back to shape. Nothing he could do about his hair, but maybe he would take some break from his duties and subscribe to a gym. It's not like his family relied on him completely.

Ron

His eyes could only keep up with Shinobu's movement because canine sight was particularly great at following motion. That didn't mean the rest of his body could keep up, though. He pushed more power into the arm held in the vampire's grasp and managed to move it even in her terrible grip. Ron growled softly at her taunt. "Cute."

Arrogant bitch.

Then he tried to take advantage of their closeness by pulling her into some kind of hold, but that wasn't likely to work out too great for his other arm. But if it did work... well, her speed only counted for so much if she couldn't move freely.

[Kat]

Petra

"Maybe. We can't be sure. It could be as well Romanesque architecture, or some Byzantine style."  A partial lie on Petra's part, after all she was familiar with Greek and Roman architecture of her times. She didn't witness firsthand though earlier and later examples. "Maybe we should get closer. I didn't study archeology, so I'm not expert though, I don't know that much beyond what you can know from common books."

Muramasa Katase

"Ugh, vampires," she said with a not entirely falsified expression of disgust on her puppet's face. "Dead things should remain in the ground where they belong."

Were they not aware of how rude it was to get back up after a sword as deadly as Muramasa had cut them? And where they hunted her own victims had less blood to spill on her blade! The chorus of damned souls within her steel agreed that vampires were truly disgraceful creatures.

After shaking her head and replacing the look with a slight smile, she continued. "As for me, I just went with whichever spot Minato-chan here suggested. She has a better head for real estate."

Shinobu

She let go of the box of doughnuts with miraculous grace, the box somehow landing safely on the floor next to them as the werewolf made his move. He forcibly moved his arm with surprising strength. He was trying to pin her a hold, not like that bothered her. It showed in her behaviour, ever as arrogant. "Is this the best you can do?"

As she got pulled into the tight hug she quickly jumped up and wrapped her legs around his waist, trapping him with her legs in turn. "Now who has caught who?" Her razor sharp fangs went for his neck with blinding speed, sinking in as she started draining him, not just his blood, but his energy and very essence, leaking out of him like a water barrel that sprung a leak.

Liam

"I can't say I did any formal schoolin' on the subject," the vampire confessed to her as they walked a bit closer to the spot. "But I've seen enough pictures in books I can know Mediterranean architecture when I see it." And he'd met a vampire old enough to see the stuff built firsthand, once.

Then he blinked, and tilted his head at one of the smaller pillars when they got there. "Is it just me or does it look like something kinda... melted this one? Not that it makes any kind of sense, being stone."

Maybe not everything that got to this place survived the trip whole?
