Vanguard
As soon as the man uttered fool, Vanguard had already leapt out, running from the magic circle. If he had set up traps already, then it would be wise to not move carelessly, but standing still wasn't an option either.
"You seem rather amusing, but I am running on a tight schedule."
How fortunate that he had just cast his defensive spell. Did the fool really believe he would make all of the traps automatic? He had spent months building this little cage in order to draw any useful actor. He had managed to defeat his booby traps and defenses easily, and his raw power was undeniable. Of course he had considered a possibility of someone taking over his castle, he counted on it.
It seemed his work had finally paid off, but it was truly a shame. With a single push of a telephone button, he detonated the throne and a massive explosion erupted from the area, a considerable amount of gunpowder and dynamite triggered at once in order to blow the imbecile to kingdom come, far more than enough to mortally wound a large animal and annihilate a human.
He had saved this trap as a last resort in case that pest tried to take over, but it seemed it wasn't necessary. What a shame, he could have made use of his body. Of course, he held his tongue. The possibility that he would survive was very real, and in that case...
How pathetic, to use one's weapon to educate a child.
