? ? ?

The bullet tore through the air bubble, but the more it advanced the slower it became, until it ground against the burst of air and stopped short of reaching him. The pressure, the power, it was simply too much. It seemed the puny human misunderstood him, the only reason he was speaking was because his victory was absolute. When dealing with insects, one could afford to laugh. He'd come back, he'd absolutely come back. Did that bastard really think a piece of metal would be enough to stop him??

"DEEP PURPLE!!!"

The wall of air slammed against Julius and pummeled him against the wall, slowly but surely crushing him.

Vanguard

How childish.

Hands in pocket, Vanguard spun and dashed aside the wave, avoiding yet another attack that managed to graze his clothes. His movements were like a dance, so fluid and graceful the notion of him dancing through pouring rain without  being touched once did not seem absurd. The wave was impressive, but the motion was too deliberate, he could read him like an open book.

"Don't speak if you cannot do, such strong words make you look weak." He said sarcastically at the same time. "Is there a reason for your attacks beyond idiocy?"

No. Not my precious. His precious. Ic cream was stolen from him by the forces of evil. Oh what a cruel world.

"Blurgh." He pulled away from Oka as she shoved it back in his mouth."I just wanted some strawberry...you didn't even give me some of yours. This is the worst day of my life."

Jeanne

"It looks like I'll have to teach you not to be so sinful Shirou. You have to repent, understand?" She glared at him suspiciosuly. "I see. You have been possesed by a nefarious demon. I must exorcise you before it's too late." She grabbed hold of his head shaked it slightly. "In the name of the Father, the Son and the Holy Spirit; begone from this world foul demon."

William

His hand was raised as a barrier of pure darkness sprung into existence, stopping the needles dead in their track. "To get you where you are now fool. You should watch your steps more clearly.

True to former Saint's words. Beneath Vangaurd's feet was a magic circle that activated the moment he finished talking. Engulfing the intruder in a pillar of darkness that reached the roof and even broke through it to the floor above.

Mordred

For the love of, if it was Hetap or Nuka Cola Quantum, she would deck Sakura right into her face no matter what. But she couldn't care less about rolls.

"Oh, I guess stolen food doesn't count against me, right, Breeze?" It wasn't her fault that this oaf knew no restraint.

Vanguard

As soon as the man uttered fool, Vanguard had already leapt out, running from the magic circle. If he had set up traps already, then it would be wise to not move carelessly, but standing still wasn't an option either.

"You seem rather amusing, but I am running on a tight schedule."

How fortunate that he had just cast his defensive spell. Did the fool really believe he would make all of the traps automatic? He had spent months building this little cage in order to draw any useful actor. He had managed to defeat his booby traps and defenses easily, and his raw power was undeniable. Of course he had considered a possibility of someone taking over his castle, he counted on it.

It seemed his work had finally paid off, but it was truly a shame. With a single push of a telephone button, he detonated the throne and a massive explosion erupted from the area, a considerable amount of gunpowder and dynamite triggered at once in order to blow the imbecile to kingdom come, far more than enough to mortally wound a large animal and annihilate a human.

He had saved this trap as a last resort in case that pest tried to take over, but it seemed it wasn't necessary. What a shame, he could have made use of his body. Of course, he held his tongue. The possibility that he would survive was very real, and in that case...

How pathetic, to use one's weapon to educate a child.

Erica

The blue haired girl was not foolish. Taking a chance in melee would undoubtedly have its own perils, and if the other man focused on Vanguard it merely allowed her to collect more data. Then the throne exploded with sudden force and heat, enough to make her stand back on the ground so that she did not shift too much from her position.

Cautiously waiting for the smoke to clear, the Mantle twisted around her arm. The Whip unfolded before lashing out to wrap around Vanguard's waist. His greatest weakness was his mobility. If this enemy still lived she would make sure to remove that weakness from him.

William

The brazen intruder continued with his mocking tirade saying he was on a tight schedule. William couldn't help but agreed on that notion. He whispered something barely audible that sounded like a Latin chant. When he finished the world changed. Or perhaps it was him that changed. From an outsiders perspective there was something 'off' about him now. Like he wasn't really there.

Then the throne exploded, throwing the room into chaos as as cloud of dust covered everything. Nothing could be seen and nothing could be heard. Was it possible? Could it be that the mage had fallen?

"Are you just going to float here all day?"

He was there. It was impossible, he couldn't be there. Yet he was. Flying in the air to the right of the blue haired girl.

"Darkness Slash."

The attack came from her left somehow. It was the same kind of energy wave as seen earlier that slammed into her. The mage that was to her right was rapidly fading away into nothingness.

Vanguard

How troublesome, it seemed no matter what he tried it just didn't seem to lessen the child's stupidity. A normal man would've been surprised and lost to hesitation, witnessing not only the man unscathed but in an entirely different location. Was he simply that fast, or did he have some sort of teleportation ability? He would find out soon enough.

Without a shred of hesitation or wasted time, Vanguard pulled on the mantle holding him with all his might, dragging Erica away from the attack just in time for her not to be engulfed by it. Was it skill that enabled him to react so precisely even in the face of danger, or was it something more?

He wasn't sure, but he knew that he did not have to think to perform such actions. There was only one truth: as long as he stood, that mongrel would not lay a finger on her.

Lightning cracked around his free arm and tore through the wraps and braces, even destroying his clothes like a terrifying aura. It was a light more beautiful, more bright and more violent than anything in this world, and in a second the light became a weapon.

There was no resistance on Erica's part as she was pulled away by the Vanguard's tug. Just in time for the darkness to sale past her, barely a few centimeters from tearing her in two. Troubling. If it was teleportation then he lacked any of the tells that the Queen had when she moved. The other option was either some localized time manipulation or pure speed. None of the options were appealing.

She cocked her head as light emanated from Vanguard? Was he truly planning to fight? Calculating. Victory did not seem feasible without additional information. Still, she had entered a contract to follow him. The Mantle shifted into Claws and she floated in a defensive stance right behind him.

Frustration. This would not be enjoyable.

The girl was pulled out of the way at the last moment, the wave of darkness barely missing her form. If they thought they had outmaneuvered him they were wrong. This was only the beginning. The beginning of their suffering.

The man had just managed to pull out his magnificent weapon when he was struck from behind. Much like previously William's form in the air faded away. However as he registered the blow, he was struck just as hard from the other direction, and then back to the original. Back and forth it went striking him like a ping pong ball.

Faster.

The blows raining down on him struck even faster and faster until it felt like they struck at the same time. His speed was unlike any human, it was of one who reached across the barrier into the realm of the gods.

Vanguard

Of course, against such a mobile opponent he had no chance. It was truly laughable, the fact that man thought this victory yielded any worth, the fact he assumed his strength was anything, the fact he was being thrown around by a mere child. It was so laughable it was infuriating.

Blows after blows battered mercilessly upon his metal shell, just like rainfall. Were they so fast they would overwhelm him, so strong they would destroy Vanguard? Was this a god?

Nay, these blows were nothing, nothing but a child flaying around compared to the terror of the gods.

Once, twice every dozens of blows his weapon would barely clash with the man's blows before the warrior was knocked back. But every passing moment, the times they'd clash intensified, even as the man became faster and faster, the weapon would desperately try to catch up. Like a wolf howling madly at the moon, trying to reach for the stars.

Yes, what a foolish, pathetic man.

It didn't take long for the Spirit Vessel to reason out what to do next. The moment that their opponent relented she wrapped the Whip around Vanguard's midsection and pulled his beaten body back to her. Then with him draped over her shoulder she immediately began a hasty retreat, dashing and pulling herself away with the Lance as much as she could.

Just as he let up on his furious storm of blows to catch his breath the man was yanked away from him. She had wrapped a whip around his waist and the two of them went flying away the way the came.

"Running away already. Then take this with you."

"Dragons Devour!"

Twin dragons of darkness chased them out, following them through the hole. The mage however made no attempts to do so. He turned around to go back to his comfy throne....but then he remembered.

"NOOOOOOOOO"

Lucy

Boring, boring, boring. The blue eyed girl girl held her chin up with one hand as she occupied space on a chair at a small, shoddy store. How slothful of her. This all continued for a little while longer until one of her Messengers climbed onto her lap. She stared down at the small creature as it shifted form into a tiny man that moved around with what she supposed was remarkable speed and used a variety of darkness based attacks. Good enough for her!

The miracle worker only took a little while to get to where she wanted. Just a few confused taxi drivers later and a large albeit ruined castle was in view. Well, it couldn't hurt to get closer, could it?

With one of her Messengers on her head Lucy walked forwards and peeked into the building. Ohh, it seemed that things had gotten rather hectic. The interior did seem to be rather crushed and exploded. Maybe the person who did all of this was still here. "Hello?"
